My husband and I love Almanza’s. They have the best Mexican food and the staff is always so friendly. The Almanza’s cheese dip is delicious! We have never tried anything we did not enjoy. I am a picky eater, but the staff are always willing to make my dish just the way I want it. Thank you for being a valued business in our community. ? ❤️

The food is horrible. The meat was so old it smelled like it had been cooked for a long time. Everything smelled horrible immediately killed my appetite. The quesadilla I ordered for my kids was so greasy it was inedible. The place looks great but the food was terrible, I wish they would cook fresh meat and fresh food.

We came to have lunch and ordered three rolled tacos, four Carne Asada tacos, a smothered steak chimichanga, and a kids quesadilla. The three rolled tacos were so hard my daughter about chipped a tooth, the kids quesadilla tortilla was undercooked and dripping in oil, the carne asada meat on the tacos was as if it had been cooked several days prior and warmed up in the microwave, with zero, I mean zero seasoning. The chimichanga tortilla was also undercooked and the meat was similar to the taco meat (smelt funny too). This is sad, when they were on grand Avenue, it seemed they had better quality food.

The service here is HORRIBLE. It’s like pulling teeth to get a refill of water or chips. God forbid you need anything else, because the servers are no where to be found. It’s a big surprise we needed our bill… and then the server was rude when we dared ask for it!I thought maybe they were understaffed. I get it, I’ve worked in restaurants for many years. If you’re busy it is difficult to be attentive. Well we finally got our bill and was waiting to pay (of course), and we look over and see the two servers sitting at a table watching a video on their phone! Absolutely incredible. The bottom line is this: you can’t just coast on having a restaurant downtown, you need servers who will serve, you need bussers who will bus, cooks who cook, a manager that will manage, and dishwashers who wash dishes. Almanza apparently has none of these. The food is nowhere good enough to justify the lazy, inattentive service. We will never go back. Hopefully this restaurant will close soon, so another business can have a shot at this prime location.

Place if very pleasing, beautiful chairs/tables. Wiater was awesome and did a great job. Quick and alert. And the Coca-Cola was good. But, when I got my burrito, it was great and big looking, except the shrimp were under cooked and soggy, that did ruin my appetite, the chips were stale and old tasting.. souces all tasted great tho.

Atmosphere nice. Food was disgusting! Relleno batter was gross, green chili tasted like it was from a can. Chips were hard and greasy. Tasted like old corn tortillas.Waitress didn’t help much. Was sitting in other dining area playing on her phone ignoring us, not refilling drinks. Not sure why it has good reviews, when it is this terrible! Corona village is way better!

It was late last min. We were given excellent service. And being from Texas I absolutely love Mexican food. And this was delicious! It was different than at home. If I'm ever thru here again I will go back. Shared a combo fajitas so good portions for a foodie like myself.

Food was salty. Margarita was tasteless other than the salt. Got the bill and lots of upcharges. $5.00 for a soda and the waiter never offered a free refill. Wish we had gone to Qdoba or Chipotle!

Typical run of the mill Tex Mex. Servers were 'eh'.Food was 'eh'Looks like and tastes like every American tex mex restaraunt out there but clean and does the trick. Ohh they like to mop their floors with strong chemicals as you take your last bite and your girlfriend is on her last enchilada and cannot finish because the fumes are so strong. They like to do that. I didn't like that. My girlfriend hated that.
