Denny's has great food as always, service wasn't to standard for a Denny's. Not to many people in the restaurant yet they managed to forget to bring items we ordered and then they asked us to check our food to make sure it was cooked thoroughly.

When we first walked in only one staff member noticed, after a few minutes another customer walked right passed us to the bar where other employees were conversing with a customer. We assumed they were together since the employee behind the counter took her order. We were still waiting to be seated. Finally we were seated and Jessica our server apologized for the wait. She was a rockstar she was the only server while also seating other customers and dealing with pick up orders. We ordered, then waited. The food was okay. We watched Jessica help every single customer after us while the two employees behind the counter only conversed with the two customers at the counter.

The waiter was awesome. We explained that we were looking for some soup, as we both have medical issues that have us having to use feeding tubes for the biggest part of our diets at nite. Hubby has been recovering from throat cancer for the last 7 months and only recently was able to start eating real food again. Our waiter suggested the loaded baked potato soup, so we each had a bowl, a glass of milk for hubby, and I had a rootbeer. Our waiter, shared that he too was going to cancer treatment and completely understood. Our soup was awesome, service was excellent, overall a very nice lunch and as a bonus hubby was able to eat his entire bowl of soup and drink his milk. A very special thank you to our waiter. We will stop by again on our way home to Cheyenne in a month.
