You can stop looking, this is the place that you want. (Well you do have to look a little because it is a little hard to find).Located in the floor level of an old classic hotel in the historic center of town and run by a family. If you like authentic mexican food, this is as good it gets. If you want american tofu mexican food go find a chain restaurant. When I was out working at the power plant I asked the Mexican scaffolding foreman where the best mexican food was in town and he said to go here (alway go to the source). He was right, classic old historic hotel building, classic old restaurant that looks like it belongs on an old mexican beer calendar and GREAT AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Drive a little further and skip the chain restaurant to go here, you will be glad that you did.

Terrible service. We have consumed in this place twice now, the first time was two years ago, neither the waitress nor the assistant speak English? they do gossip because I understand Spanish and the truth is that is very bad. We returned a few months ago and the same thing happened because my family and I thought that this time we would have better service and it was the worst, the waitress did not understand us and she did not serve us quickly and the place was empty we will definitely not return and I do not recommend it either

This is my favorite restaurant on Rock Springs. The food was good and the prices were impressive. I like the atmosphere in an old hotel. They serve generous portions and I was very impressed with the very fair prices. I ordered a combo with a taco, tamale, and chile relleno. The chile relleno had eggs around the pepper. The tamale was authentic and it was a standard taco. I liked the dirty Mexican rice. The food had good flavor. I was also impressed they bring you a little treat at the end. I will be visiting again.

Good restaurant to eat. Not very loud. Prices are decent. Guacamole needs some seasoning. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant.

Really liked this place, I ordered a chicken burrito, it's shredded chicken, cheese with sides of rice and refried beans, I would recommend, it's delicious and authentic. I was really surprised by the portion size! I love the Christmas decorations it was warm and cozy in there. The complimentary salsa and chips were really fresh and delicious!

Passing through on a road trip back home and bad weather made us have to stop sooner than planned. Food was delicious, better than some of the places in Chicago.
Not as good as they used to be burritos barely stuff for 40 dollar meal just going down

Couldn't get service, fat girl at hostess stand walked by us 4 times, didn't have time to greet anyone with courtesy, weren't busy! Seriously pathetic service! Lost my business!
