Food is good but overpriced - we’ve been there 4 times and only once did not have a problem. $38 for a portion of buffalo short ribs and nothing with it is a ridiculous price. Menu is limited and hasn’t really changed since opening day - as a local , yes it’s our best restaurant, (which, sadly, isn’t saying much, but the price is a bit over the top - not sure I’ll go back

Food was absolutely top notch. Service was prompt and courteous, but not hovering. Didn’t have dessert and I really regret that decision. Saw some being served as we were leaving and they were giant and looked very delicious! Next time for sure!

Good choice for a more upscale dinner in Sheridan. I had the shrimp and scallops special, it was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The GM, is a young gal with big aspirations. She has a great staff and they are doing their best to provide an exceptional experience. This is my top pick in Sheridan for a special occasion dinner.

my feonce and I recently dined for valentine's day, and our 1st time dining at the bar and grill.. we were very impressed with all the employees and staff!! very generous, helpful and thoughtful!! We highly recommend and will be coming back again.. if you have a special occasion like an anniversary or birthday you want to treat your partner to, this is the place to take them!!

Nice environment where you can have a conversation with one another. Lighting is great. The food is quite good. We haven't been disappointed at all. The appetizer menu is wonderful and we'd recommend the smoked salmon dip of the poutine! Give it a shot, it's hard to beat a restaurant in a building that was once known for its love of the Buffalo Bill!

We were not told when making reservations that party of 6 they would only provide one ticket. The food was outstanding. Their sides are very large and easily several 2 adults.

We had a fabulous meal with excellent service from Jessica. Started with lovely bar service, moving to a nice both to enjoy bison NY steaks, salads and sides. We loved everything! Carly, the very professional hostess, booked our reservation for another evening to enjoy this delightful spot.

Staying at the hotel and I got in late so I decided to eat here. It’s not a bargain and everything is ala carte with sides at around $10. I had the “Bugle Pie” which was basically a meat pie with Elk and Oysters. It was excellent. The pastry on top was flaky and delicious. I was seated and served quickly. The cocktail menu felt more New Orleans than Wyoming, but the French 75 was perfect. Total tab for entree only and one cocktail was $44 plus tip. Im glad I ate here, especially since it was so convenient.

We had a true dining experience last night for our party of eight. The food was perfection along with a very attentive server named Callie. Our group sampled several appetizers, had various entrees & followed up with exquisite desserts. The manager, Sarah came around to make sure everything was just right.We love the Historic Sheridan with their amazing Buffalo Bill Bar & Open Range Dining Room.We highly recommend Open Range at the Sheridan Inn.
