Disappointed

JH Four Seasons shoved this sushi bar into the corner of the very busy lounge that services apres ski. Omakase is a reverent experience focused on exquisite flavor, freshness and art allowing the diner the opportunity to interact directly with the highly skilled chef and watching the chef perform his art. Putting it in a noisy lounge where skiers were bumping into our chairs, reveling noisily with stories of skiing made it close to impossible to hear Chef talk. The food was good but not memorable. In summary - very very expensive sushi in the apres ski lounge. Not true omakase and not worth it.

Fantastic experience, kazu was wonderful. I wish they had a more private spot, it felt a little crazy having that sort of meal (at that price) in a bustling apres ski spot. Loud with drunk people in ski pants moseying around us, not really the vibe. They should move it to the library/conference room. Other than that, it was great.

They only have 3 things on the menu now ?

Very enjoyable casual spot within the resort, flexible seating inside and outside, eclectic food menu and creative & polished cocktails. Service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the ahi poke nachos and the pot stickers, both delicious.

Located on the 4th floor of the Four Seasons, Ascent Lounge is a cute bar with a great selection of drinks and food. I discovered it when the bar downstairs was closed for a private event. I opted for the boozy hot chocolate two days in a row, which really hit the spot after a long day of snowboarding. I also tried the tacos (4 total) which were delicious and a perfect mid-day snack. The outdoor seating features several fire pits with a view of the slopes. The indoor area features a fireplace and an assortment of tables and lounge chairs to accommodate a variety of group sizes. I appreciated that they had some available outlets so I could charge my phone (the cold really wipes out the battery!). The service was friendly and helpful-- my server even helped me find a seat indoors when I was getting cold sitting outside. In terms of prices, it's the Four Seasons so expect to pay more for the ambience and location. Being from LA though, prices felt pretty standard for a nice bar. I would definitely go back the next time I feel like treating myself after a day of boarding!

My wife and I had a date night that we came to the four seasons for a drink and appetizer 1st. It was a great atmosphere, with live music, drinks and lots of people watching. We had the ahi tuna nachos- they were loaded with tuna and delicious! I would love to come back and stay longer! The drinks were spot on and we had a great time overall - highly recommend.

My husband and I spend time in Jackson Hole multiple times a year and dinner in the Ascent Lounge is always a favorite that we complete each trip with. Once seated, after waiting 15 minutes with no service I went looking for a server. A server, not our server was extremely apologetic and got our server. Our server made it apparent she did not want to serve us. Everyone else was very accommodating, checking in on us like they knew our server did not do her job. We were very disappointed that we spent 2 hours having drinks and 2 appetizers making us miss our next planned event on our last night. Surely that server will not be there much longer.

Dined here a couple of times during a recent stay at the Four Season resort. The servers were knowledgeable and efficient and didn't steer us wrong with either food or drinks. The Wyoming whiskey flight was a particular standout on the drink side, as were the falafel cakes on the food side. After dinner we made s'mores over a firepit adjacent to the lounge. The ambience is low-key ski lodge and is a perfect place to relax with drinks at the end of the day.

WORST SERVICE. We stopped by the Ascent Lounge for drinks and apps before dinner and the server could not have been more rude from the start. Actually, none of the staff was friendly but our server was especially rude. I’ve never had an experience quite like it. For a high end restaurant that charges $25+ for cocktails, the type of service we received was unacceptable. There are much friendlier people and better drinks at other restaurants in the village.

We visited Ascent in the off season. Beautiful view and fireplaces and ambiance was cozy and quaint. We had a few issues with our order being incorrect but the management made things right with A+ service after the fact. Worth a visit! Eclectic and interesting menu.
