My husband and I stopped on our way through. My first clue as to maybe why we should've gone somewhere else would've been the sticky tables, the second would've been when I was asking about the menu and jalapenos kept being mentioned on almost every dish I asked about what was in it. We got the lunch special, I got the chicken and broccoli. My husband got the salt and pepper chicken. The special comes with the soup of the day, which was egg drop. It was bland and had corn in it and NO crunchy won ton strips. The special comes with fried rice and noodles. Both of those were dry. Like very little flavor and NO sauce on the noodles. My broccoli and chicken was cooked fine and it was hot which was the best thing about it. It also had NO sauce. I think the cook is anti-sauce and flavor. The salt and pepper chicken was just breaded chicken, again NO sauce. This is very confounding to me as I've ate at a lot of Chinese restaurants and most dishes have some sort of sauce. Anyways I can't imagine why anyone comes here more than once... I will say the waitress was nice ?

Food was cooked well. Egg drop soup was different than I'm used to in a good way. It has great flavor. Chicken was cooked perfectly. So many places overcook chicken and it becomes chewy and dry. Food here was great!

This place has great food and great service. The General Tso’s Chicken is perfectly tender and spicy and the Sweet and Sour Pork is crispy and tasty.

Food is great WHEN they are actually open. They are always closed, it seems, then they randomly open for a couple of weeks and then closed for months. So strange.

Good Chinese food. Much better under the new ownership, we enjoyed the flavor of the food this time instead of just bland meats over rice. You could tell the vegetables were fresh and cut that day, delicious. Also, the hot n sour soup was different than most Chinese places, and was very delicious. Well done!! Will return for sure!!

This place is meh. I don't know what keeps happening but this place changes names every couple of years. It has been Canton Dragon and Peking Garden. It was pretty good then. Now, it's hit and miss and overall of average quality and taste. I look forward to the next group of folks that come in, change the name and hope for the best.

Glad to have this place in Torrington and will continue to support them! The Torrington rolls were crispy and delicious and the general tso’s is hard to beat.

The food was absolutely amazing! Sadly there were only 2 people running the restaurant so the service was incredibly slow. But I understand not having anyone able to work. :(Either way I highly recommend this place.
