“I drive through Wheatland on a regular basis and when I'm getting low on hours I like to stop here for the night. The A&W has always had good food. Sometimes the service varies, depending on whose working the counter. This time I had a slightly older lady wait on me. She had a good sense of humor and was very polite and professional. She obviously is a throwback to the days when people could and would work and give good service. The food was fresh and not just thrown together. The man in the back making the sandwiches took the time to make them correctly and make them look appealing and appetizing. I really only have two things to criticize and that's mostly just a matter of personal preference. First, put some seasoning on the hamburger patty so it's not quite so bland. Second, maybe see if you can get your pickles from a different supplier. They weren't horrible but they did leave a bit of an aftertaste that I could do without. And that's coming from someone that loves pickles. All in all it's a good place to eat. Maybe not 5 stars, but it's closer to 5 than 4.“
