“The atmosphere is fun but it’s very crowded. We did have to wait to be seated. We had 4 adults and 2 kids in our group. We couldn’t even be seated together. We had to be separated. I had a 5 month old baby in a car seat and it was cramped I didn’t have hardly any room to put her car seat anywhere. The food was good though. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. All the burgers and sandwiches come with fries.”
“A normal hotdog, the sausage tastes good, you can add ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise. Though it’s expensive, around 11-12USD. Would prefer if the hotdog can pair with salad or potatoes, other than ”
“Great food, great service, and great atmosphere! We thoroughly enjoyed the crispy duck leg, lentil/quinoa soup, and cream brulee cheesecake. Lots of varieties for kids too! We dined for both breakfast and dinner, and we were impressed! Ian at the front desk is a gem!”
“We came to this cafeteria at old faithful inn to get refreshing ice cream after a sunny day outside watching the old faithful show. Ice cream was good and refreshing, I can't comment on food since we only ordered ice cream. The service was friendly. The store looked clean and tidy. Overall a good experience.”
“We stayed at mammoth hotel for 2 nights and hence we had both night's dinner at Mammoth Dining room. It gets very busy during dinner hours, so better to go early and reserve table. The staff is very accommodating and listens to your food concerns and suggests whatever they have on menu considering your restrictions. Kids menu has lot of options as well. We did have good experience and it is the beautiful restaurant inside the park, which makes it more worth the visit. Its walking distance across the road from mammoth hot springs trails. Considering very limited options of restaurants inside the huge Yellowstone park, this place does great job!”
“Nice lake view restaurant which doesn’t need a restaurant. A very small menu, mostly tacos and some desert/drinks. The tacos tasted good, especially for a place inside the park. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table.”
“It's a pretty typical cafeteria style place, but some of the food is really good, and probably one of the better options at Yellowstone considering quality for the price. The burgers are okay, but the chicken burger (it's a crispy chicken sandwich), bison bratwurst, and red pepper and gouda soup are all really good. It's a little pricey for what you get, but the quality is pretty good overall. If you catch it in between snowmobile groups, you can have the place all to yourself and the food will be really fresh and hot. If you go in the middle of one of those groups, the place will be slammed and there will be no place to sit, so that's a downside. The other downside is they're only open for lunch, closing at 3:00, but I recommend it overall.”
“We stayed at Mammoth Hot Springs hotel for 2 nights and we visited this place for both days morning breakfast time. They have fairly good amount of options and the seating is huge, so wouldn't find difficulty in grabbing a table. Good option for takeout's too while visiting Mammoth Hot Spring trails. Considering very limited options of restaurants inside the huge Yellowstone park, this place does great job!”
“Was not real crazy about how you go to the register to order and then stand in line fir your number to be called but it was ok. The view from the dining area is spectacular. I had the Bison brat with chili and cheese and it was good. My wife had the hamburger and it was pretty dry. Would go back mainly for the atmosphere.”
“Place was packed, but the line moves fast. This place is probably packed no matter when you go here, specially, during meal times. The service was really good. I’m sure they’re terribly busy all day long but you wouldn’t know it by how you’re treated.Good basic food like burgers and fries.Amazingly good service considering it’s the only show in town.Plenty of souvenir shopping here as well. If you’re going to pick up stuff to take home like T-shirts or sweatshirts or memorabilia this is the place.Parking: Huge lot for this complex but it’s Yellowstone! You might have to drive around a little bit to find an open spot.”
“Food is ok nothing to write home about. It's expensive and could be more fresh and flavorful. My favorite thing was the bison bratwurst. Service wasn't terrible, but it wasn't friendly. I'd say the line was a 10-15 minute wait for lunch.”

“Good atmosphere in this restaurant with authentic decor! We hadn't reserved (I don't know if it's possible) and we waited more than an hour to get our table (there were 7 of us so it's not always easy) but despite that, we we had a good time.”
