The only knock I have about this establishment is that this is the only one in existence. Besides that, this restaurant deserves the highest praises! I was traveling through the Yukon and found this place doing a quick search for lunch. As soon as I walked inside I knew I picked the right place. Who I believe was the owner was very nice and inviting. I sat down and looked over the robust menu. They have well-known dishes from around the world but with a Caribbean twist which I really enjoyed. The owner helped me with things I should try and I was not disappointed. I even ordered some to go ?. If you ever find yourself visiting Whitehorse this restaurant is a must.

Now this a place you CANNOT miss if you’re in Whitehorse. Right from when we entered, till the time we left, this place was one of my favourite highlights from our short weekend trip. The mango & vegan meat curry and the rasta pasta were so flavourful and delicious (we were so hungry, I couldn’t take any pictures). The hosts were so nice and warm to us. When I went to Antoinette’s, I had heard a lot about the food but I didn’t expect to get a quick dance workshop. BIG shoutout to Gustavo - his dance was even better than the wonderful dish recommendations. Essentially, it’s a cute, warm, homey place with the excellent hosts and excellent vibes :))) Definitely recommend itVegetarian options: So many vegetarian and vegan options

I ordered the vegan watermelon and carrot curry but what I received was not what was described on the menu. I got watermelon in red sauce with maybe 10 black beans over rice, with some salad greens. There was no carrot tasted or visible, no garlic turnover and the salad was not the proper salad with couscous. I don't think the salad even had a dressing. At first when it arrived, I was disappointed because I had forgotten to order shrimp with it, but then realized watermelon wasn't the only reason I ordered the dish, so I looked up the menu online to check I wasn't crazy. There were two very pleasant waiters working. I called one over and said that what I recieved was delicious but it wasn't quite right. I described was what missing and the waiter acted apologetic but wouldn't quite let me finish or tell me what he was doing and walked away so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. A different waiter (whom had taken our order originally) came by and asked us how the food was. I gently mentioned the problem to him but like the other waiter he acted apologetic but wouldn't quite let me finish or tell me what he was doing and walked away. The first waiter I explained the problem to came back a short while later with the garlic turnover and a parsley tomato salad (no couscous).One of the waiters explained it was a menu item less popular so the chef forgot what's in it.I went up fully planning to kindly ask for a discount, but when I got up to the area to pay, there was a sign asking for patience as they were shortstaffed. I ended up paying full price and leaving a 20% tip, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth (metaphorically). I am pregnant and have been drooling over the menu but my husband doesn't like the restaurant so I had to convince him to go. The food we were served was good, but not what was described on the menu. The staff was friendly, but I do not feel the issue was adequately resolved.There is a saying that too complex a menu is a red flag for a restaurant, and I can't help but feel this may be the case here.

Cozy atmosphere, charming hosts, beautifully spiced Caribbean food. We got the oxtail stew, and friend got the vegan pasta with veggie meat. Whatever they used to make the veggie sausage would have fooled me. It was so tasty!Forgot to take photos because we got too excited when the food arrived.The menu was a bit overwhelming with multiple options. However, we liked that they had a specialized menu that had popular items to choose from. Would highly recommend the cou cou as the appy, and oxtail stew!
