The customer service was excellent and food was delicious. Went in morning for breakfast, got eggs Benedict with bacon and the breakfast bagel. Both were delicious!! We were happy to find a good breakfast spot after all. Highly recommend!Parking: Ample parking spots available opposite to the building.

Friendly place. I didn't want to go too far for dinner. And it was perfect. Some people. Music just loud enough to enjoy.

The staff were charming, the place felt like a lively little bistro with some very unique features. The food was consistently VERY GOOD, so we kept going back!

Worst cocktails ever. I’m not even sure why you would have cocktails off the staff can’t make them. Literally just read ingredients and poured them in. Disgusting and expensive

Great Reuben with a decent wine, coffee and tea selection! Bright atmosphere and wonderful service. A local gem I need to avail myself of more regularly. The nutritional yeast dressing on my salad was a surprising hit!

The food was greesy and undercooked. Lied about having cheese curds in their poutine and didn't order one of our meals. They didn't even check in during the meal to see how things were. Wouldn't

My six year old just argued with her dad over the last bite of bison pot pie. Kid was willing to do battle over a morsel of meat and crust. So yep, I think the food here is worth recommending. My husband's main came 20+ minutes after the other two mains, but I'm so impressed with this place that I'll let it slide and get the 5-star review in. The food earns it. Nice chill atmosphere, and the bartender/main server was honestly doing the best anyone could ask for. Fish and chips were divine and the shore lunch (with Arctic char) was so light and delicious. Get the salad with the "gravy" dressing (it's a savoury vinaigrette with nutritional yeast).

I would give this minus stars if I could. We came here for early breakfast before a tour. We came in at 7:45am, were one of three tables at the time, waiting 10 minutes for menus. Orders basic breakfast, waffles, eggs and toast and smoothie bowl. It took over an hour for our food with zero attention from the server. We ended up having to ask a different server what was going on.Once we finally received our food, the eggs were raw, the waffles were super hard and inedible and the smoothie bowl was just a blended ball of slush put into a bowl, no garnishes no fruit no anything. And when we brought this attention to our server that paid zero attention to us the whole time, she acted disgusted at us that we would complain. Gave us a 10% discount and we still had to pay over 40$ for this.I would avoid this joint at all costs.

This is the second time that we came back to the Railwork Lounge for their breakfast. We came here for the first time on our visit to Whitehorse last year. Although the kitchen had run out of most ingredients for their menu last time, we still had a decent experience and had great service.Unfortunately, the dining experience this time around was a complete 180. Things were good at the start, but towards the middle/end of our dining time, a lot of things went downhill and left us frustrated. For someone who has worked in the service industry throughout high school and university, it takes a lot to be considered as a bad dining experience.Good aspects about our experience:- We entered through the hotel lobby and were quickly seated at a table by the bar area where I could see the kitchen. The restaurant’s ambience is nice, clean, colourful, and sunny.- We had our orders placed without having to wait too long.- Service, when given, was friendly.- Yogurt and granola bowl was filling (although yogurt-to-granola ratio wasn’t great and it was kinda dry and also not sure if it’s worth the 9.50$???)What wasn’t great:- Quality of any hot food was abysmal. The dishes offered looked great on paper but left you desiring more. The sourdough waffles we ordered came out soggy and cold. The ladies to our left gawked at what they were paying for. One lady received cold French toast without the custard or berries although it was what it was supposed to be served with; the kitchen did not communicate that they ran out ingredients and served it dry. The waitress went back to the kitchen and came out to relay that they ran out of the ingredients but walked away without offering any alternatives; the lady had to get up and approach the bar for some butter and syrup at the very least.- Can’t fathom why a SINGLE piece of buttered toast cost $3??? I really had expected at least another slice and did not think that “toast” on the menu was not in plural form LOL Other restaurants would give you at least two! Did not think they would be cheap about it!- Service quality could be greatly improved if they hired another server to help out the other two. Management really needs to reconsider what they consider as “good” for customer service to reduce the stress of the workers and improve the customers’ experience. The servers had a tendency to leave food sitting at the kitchen service window for a while before bringing it out, which probably explained why food was cold. No one checked in on the tables around us for water refills or to ask if we needed anything. It took us legitimately 15 minutes to receive our bill and pay. The tables to both my left and right complained of the lack of service as well. The husband of one lady joked: “Welcome to the Yukon!” Newer tables that came in after us had to wait a while before having their orders taken. Heard one server argue with the kitchen to make breakfast food even though the kitchen had already switched to their lunch menu.- Service at the front to seat guests was inconsistent. We were seated quickly. On the other hand, one server wanted the other to check for a table of four and the latter promptly said “We don’t have any room” and turned away without seeing what potential wait times are. Those people ended up walking away. At the end of our stay, I saw a family still standing at the front who have already waited for 10-15 minutes without being seated because the servers were preoccupied with making coffees and running orders for a group of 6. I told them to take their business elsewhere.
