We came in for a drink and stayed for the Wagyu Strip! I’m going to tell you something…. I wasn’t a believer until I tasted this piece of meat! I’ve never had a personal relationship with a steak before but it happened that night! I took so much time enjoying every piece that the bartender walked up and asked if I liked it. YES!!!! It was an invigorating experience for sure. The steak was amazing, the Mezcal Old Fashioned drinks definitely hit the spot, and the desert…. THE DESERT must have been created by god himself! I didn’t want to leave. Then, the Chef walked me to the kitchen so I could see a fresh cut of the AUTHENTIC A5 JAPENESE WAGYU.. If this steak isn’t served in heaven, then I don’t wanna go! I’ll be back for sure!
There is nothing I like more than a ribeye cooked to perfection however 52 Kilo missed the mark on this one. The Australian wagyu was brought out cold as if it were sitting under a fan while resting. The local ribeye was the highlight of the evening however the grade could be compared to a 15$ cut from harps. The crostini appetizer was extremely delicious - probably one of the only things we'd come back for. The restaurant itself gives a very cozy and romantic feel however the seating proximity to other guests takes from part of the romance. All in all, for the cost and quality, we don't plan on dining here again.

All I see are 5 star comments. I must have done a poor job ordering. The Chuck Short Rib was not worth the 100 I paid for it and it is my fault for reading the outdated menu on line. All meat prices had doubled - I'm assuming due to the economy issues. A great Margerita made me happy but for 300 dollars at least put some bread on the table. Not a fan - Ruth's is calling me back. 2 stars for Austin and the bartender.
