“Unmatched Sushi Experience at House Modern Sushi in Mesa!Review: My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at House Modern Sushi, located conveniently next to the AMC theater in Mesa, and I must say, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience! Right from the start, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the interior and the warm welcome we received, which set a fantastic tone for the evening. The service at House Modern Sushi is genuinely outstanding. It's clear that this family-owned business puts a lot of heart into their service, ensuring every customer feels valued and well-cared for. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor made our dining experience even more special. Now, onto the main event - the sushi! Every single item we ordered was nothing short of incredible. The sushi rolls were fresh, expertly crafted, and presented beautifully. What really stood out was the generous portion size, which is a great value for the price. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, clearly highlighting the quality of the ingredients used.Comparatively, House Modern Sushi easily surpasses other local spots like RAW and Broker Sushi. There's just something about the way they prepare their dishes that makes their sushi stand out in a league of its own.Without a doubt, House Modern Sushi has become our new go-to place for sushi in Mesa. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or just looking for a delightful dining experience, I highly recommend visiting House Modern Sushi. It's more than just a meal; it's an experience that you'll want to return to time and again!“

“7 Garden Dumpling & Noodle House offers a cozy retreat for those craving authentic Chinese cuisine, though with a few unexpected twists. Their beef noodle soup, a staple for any noodle house aficionado, arrives steaming and fragrant. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful, with tender chunks of beef that melt in your mouth. However, there's a surprising addition to the bowl – cabbage. Traditionally, this dish isn't served with cabbage, and its inclusion may startle purists. While the cabbage adds a fresh, crunchy texture, it deviates from the classic preparation, which might not sit well with everyone. Despite this, the overall experience is satisfying, particularly for those open to culinary variations. For a true taste of innovation mixed with tradition, 7 Garden Dumpling & Noodle House mostly hits the mark, albeit with an unconventional twist.“

“Been coming here for 20 years. This place truly is a hidden diamond. If you've never been here before do yourself a favor and try it.I guarantee you will find at least one thing (probably several) that you like. I have never had a bad item on this menu. My favorites are Kaum poo kee and Teriyaki beef. Seriously go here. The prices are beyond reasonable and the food is unforgettable.“

“I get the curry katsu a lot. I also order to go. I would suggest 2 aspects: 1) ask for more curry 2) ask to not have the paper decor they put at the bottom of the to-go box. That paper disintegrates when exposed to moisture. And the time you forget and pour the curry over the katsu... that paper is just mixed with the curry.I get it to go because it's always busy when I want curry katsu - weekends and/or evenings. So, the atmosphere is always loud that I need headphones/earbuds to be in that food court.“

“This is our second time having cupbop but first time at this location. My kids love this place! The cups are one size unless you get a kids cup. There are 11 different variations to chose from. Some contain chicken, pork, beef or combo. They all come with rice and noodles and cabbage. They add your protein and a variety of sauces and sesame seeds. They add a lid and before you eat it you're supposed to shake it up. The sauce has 10 different levels of heat. Well 1 is sweet and 2-10 goes from a lil hot to crazy hot. We had levels 3 and 4 spice level and those a comfortable hot. We also got pot stickers and it's served with bulgogi sauce. Those were delicious but not very hot(cook hot I mean). I do feel the price is a bit high for what you get. Both bowls were $11.95. You don't even get half a chicken breast in the bowl. I do like however it's different then your everyday food offerings at most restaurants and it feels like your eating healthier then typical fast food. We will be back!“

“We went to P.F. Chang's Tuesday evening to celebrate my daughter graduating. We have not been there for years and we were excited to go. Wow! What a great choice! The food was amazing! We weren't sure what to order because everything looked so good. Our incredible server Cassandra gave us excellent recommendations. We of course got the lettuce wraps and also the pork dumplings. They were both delicious! We knew we wanted the Mongolian beef but also wanted to try something new so Cassandra recommended the Chang's spicy chicken. Oh my gosh, that was amazing!!! Both entrees came with large portions that not only did we have plenty to share at dinner but we were able to take home quite a bit for leftovers the next day. I have to say one of the best things that made her experience was that we had an incredible server. Cassandra never stopped! We were in awe with how attentive she was with not only our service but with her other tables as well. She was so wonderful, always checking in, making sure our drinks never emptied and was so extremely friendly and treated us as if we were her only table. This experience was so great and now I'm a huge fan! We will definitely be back and with the excellent service we received, no matter how busy they are it'll be worth the wait so we can have Cassandra again!“

“I got the Shrimp fried rice and you can have them “make it spicy”. They infuse it with a delicious spicy chili oil. This oil tastes differently than regular spicy (such as spicy salsa flavors). It doesn’t detract or add a flavor changing component to the taste of the dish and compliments it quite well if not expanding upon the flavors of the dish. It is the closest thing I have gotten to my favorite fried rice dish from Japan. Very delicious.“

“They're not very tentative to people waiting to place an order. Took them 5 minutes to even look my direction, but the food is always fresh. Good. And satisfying! They definitely need to take more time and attention to how long the brown rice has been out.“

“Went here for my birthday last night and it was so much fun! Everything was clean and staff was very informative, attentive, and personable. Booking the room was pretty easy, I dm'd them on instagram and as long as you dm while they're open they get to you pretty fast which is awesome considering I had to make a few changes to my reservation. The karaoke machine is not super user friendly, but like I said staff was super helpful, and it did not stop us from having the best time ever. My only complaint is that I didn't book the room for longer because we were having such a great time, and it sounded like everyone else was too!!“

“Whenever I shop at HMart, I always stop by the food court to grab a bite to eat. Da Pan is the food stall that consistently catches my attention. You cannot resist seeing customers returning to their tables with a stone platter full of delicious Korean food. I have tried their bulgogi udon and omurice; both were excellent, with generous portions. The bulgogi udon was flavorful, and the noodles were al dente. The omurice was savory, smothered in a delectable sauce. Overall, I was impressed with the food and will return on my next HMart run.“

“This place has been around for a long time. Sushi here is really good. Unfortunately, other alternate options like the chinese food are alright but expensive. Mind as well spend more money on the ?.This place can honestly use some renovations. There are a lot of people order takeout here rather than coming in. It's probably best to enjoy their sushi fresh from the bar and talk to very friendly people at the sushi bar. They're also very fast. I think they changed the owner a few years back, and that explains the poor customer service. It's a shame because this place was alive and filled with people when I visited in the past. Now it's kind of a ghost town and a place to order takeout. The alcohol bar is covered in takeout plastic bags and containers. One of the table near the bar is a financial office for this old lady doing paperwork while people are awkwardly eating in the same room lol.“

“Amazing! Coming back for Spicy beef BBQ next time. I wished I had a bigger stomach to continue to eat. I got the Tofu Stew Soup (seafood tofu style) and Cold Spicy Noodle was a dynamite! Fresh BanChan; smelled clean, tasty, spicy but not overly spicy, solid kimchi; light to the taste buds in a good way.“
