“We are here a decade ago, when we were in Scottsdale. We went out of our way to come back during a trip to Phoenix, and Virtú delivered. Every course was excellent. Even the classics that were on the menu ten years ago and still today (like the polpo) have had changes that made them a new delight. The ragú for the rigatoni was scrumptious. The branzino was amazing. The chocolate and gelato dessert was also lovely. I don't know when we'll be back, but any time we're in Phoenixland, we're going to try and come back here.“

“Probably the best kept secret in Scottsdale Ranch. KUKOS is absolutely delicious. It was recommended to me by a friend from Greece and I've been hooked ever since. I've probably been a dozen times in three months and it's been delicious every time. You can taste the fresh ingredients. Also, very friendly staff. Gyro Wrap w/Fries and the Greek Salad are my go-to's. I highly recommend this place.“

“We’ve gone here no less than 20 times and the food is always great. The only thing better is the guys that work here. Whether you order for delivery or eat there, you won’t be dissapointed. The restaurant is always clean, relaxed and not overstimulating like so many other places. We love bringing our kids for a delicious chill lunch or dinner. Can’t recommend this place enough.“

“Food tasted fresh and was full of fantastic flavors. Four stars because halfway through devouring my pita, it got soggy and busted through the bottom (I should have opted for a bowl instead). Guys behind the counter were quick, efficient and pleasant. As for the atmosphere, it's alright. For having a name like "Hummus Republic", I just expected different decor and lighting. Overall A+!“

“Frequent lunch timers, the wife and I most often enjoy the Greek salad topped with any number of proteins. The vinaigrette is superb, fresh, and bright. I particularly enjoy the grilled lamb skewers. Tender marinated lamb and the grill char when it hits the Feta? Gyro, chicken, shrimp. It's all delicious and fresh.Pita is light, hot, and great w/ hummus. The dolmadi, mellenzasa (?)*, baklava. The sandwiches/pitas are all great. Really, nothing bad here. They recently took off an amazing lamb/beef burger from the menu I really liked, but there is quite aTry the specials, too. “Only gave a 4 on atmosphere because this place deserves a bigger spot with more parking! I’d kill to have a drive thru here, just like the smoke shop next door. I will definitely be back and I will be making an account on “slice” so I can start preordering or having this delivered. Over the years I feel like Greek in Scottsdale has slowly disappeared or become very commercialized. This place is the real deal. Keep them Gyros coming!!!“

“This place is wonderful. Everything was so fresh and yummy! My 10 year old loved the Caesar salad and hummus so much, we went back 3 times on our 8 day stay in Scottsdale. We would probably go 3 times a week if we lived there!“

“The chicken shawarma sandwich we bought was so good it didn't even last 20 minutes! It was so good that my cousin that originally wanted to eat at in-n-out decided to order food from here instead. All of the prices are fair for every dish. The owner was really nice to talk to and when we were leaving he offered us a free desert out of nowhere! Overall, me and my families experience here was overwhelmingly positive and I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants good authentic middle eastern food. Shawarma Express is definitely an underrated and underappreciated restaurant.“

“The owner and founder is Pars is the original executive chef of Persian Room and the food is incredible. I have been eating here regularly for years and the customer service is next level. One time they messed up my to go order and personally drove to my house to apologize and bring the right food over. They truly treat you like family and are the best in town.“

“We had a great meal at Cava! It’s a nice change from the usual casual restaurant. I loved the food, so fresh and beautifully prepared.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is a vegetarian’s dream. It’s easy to customize your meal, and it has tasty sauces.Dietary restrictions: Most of the menu is structured so that many dishes are gluten free or easily adapted to gluten free. Same for lactose intolerance foods. I have both of these issues and it was so easy to select my meal.Parking: It’s on the corner of Scottsdale and Acoma, very easy to access from Acoma. Lots of parking available.Kid-friendliness: There were several families there with small kids. There was plenty of space for them and the kids seemed to enjoy their meal.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking was available and easy to use walk way.“
