“We enjoyed dinner on a Saturday night during the hockey playoffs, so the volume in at the Gull was lively. Service was very friendly but quite slow when we first arrived. seemed like there was some confusion on who's table we were, once we had a server all flowed nicely. Enjoyed a burger and rib meal which the kitchen prepared gluten free. We love the Gull and will be back!“

“The lamb burger was a little charred, which I dislike, but was still flavourful and quite filling. The cherry cocktail and sour beer were delicious.Dietary restrictions: The server asked if my request for no pepper on the fries was an allergy or preference. I appreciated being asked, as many people have allergies that sometimes are received as a bother to the staff.“

“The restaurant was quiet because the golf course was closed and we ended up the only table in there and the food was as good as if the restaurant was packed and they were cooking up a storm. Thursday special of burgers, sandwiches and wraps for $10 is a great deal!“

“Fish & Chips was in the top 5 of the best I've had, and I've had Fish & Chips in scores of places. The fish was cooked at the right temperature for the right length of time, and that's hard to find. Also of great importance was the cole slaw. I learned to make cole slaw in a high end seafood restaurant where I worked as a teenager. Cole slaw was meant to cleanse the palate between mouthfuls of greasy food. Most places have cole slaw with oil added, but the cole slaw at Seymour's was very plain and effective and plenty of it. The music was very good, too. Mike Van Eyes was there with his band plus Captain Grant Coburn and also a few tunes by Roger Procopio.“
