“Not too sweet and great place to hang out!!!“

“I had Plain 'Mini Style', with Strawberry Jam. It was DLish!!! Just because my taste, doesn't require super sweet, so the only thing I'd change was clarification of Plain, they still sprinkled with powder sugar & Cinnamon, so I'd request No Sugar/No Cinnamon, since the waffles are sweetened with these 2 components anyway.“

“Glad to see a dessert place be open late till midnight. Service was great. You order through a kiosk and wait at a table for your name to be called. Metered Street parking available on the busy main street of Shattuck. I was here with friends to grab a taste of their desserts. We ordered the tiramisu snowflake, it was golden. Just know, it's blowing cold A/C once you settle in. Perfect for when the sunny hot days come around. Although it's strange to have them not fill up the milk teas to the brim of the cup, yet leave a quarter portion. Mango Lemonade was alright, just tasted like soda at that point. I'd come back for the croffle or bingsoo.“

“I dropped by Dessert Cafe for their soft launch! The place is located in front of Kimchi Garden but it seems like the two places share the same staff. When I first arrived no one was at the front but I was able to get help by going in Kimchi GardenI ordered a brown sugar boba and tiramisu croffle. The boba came in a can (pictured). It was decent but a bit too milky for my taste. The sugar and ice levels were not customizable so it came a bit sweeter than I would have preferred too. The can itself was really cute and the boba tasted fresh. The croffle was labeled tiramisu but actually had an apple jam on it as well as a layer of whipped cream. I thought it was pretty good. It had a nice crunch to it. I wish I could have tasted the jam a bit more -- it was overwhelmed by the cream but tasted good on its own. Also wish the croffle had come warm but overall had a good experience!“

“Quick "treat your self" stop after a 2 hour hike. Ordered at the outside window and service was super helpful and patient as it was our first visit looking at the menu. The Cookie Monster and Minty Cookie Twisties were amazing as was the Chocolate Milkshake. Gotta come back for the food! Looks like good amount of indoor and partially outdoor dining available too.“
