“We took a ride from Stockton to Coperopulis which I had never heard before. We met up with my nephew and his wife and my son and his wife had pizza and the cheese sticks which are amazing! The little town was built to look old but vibrant it's a cool place with other eateries around and quaint bars. Gold Dust has ice cold beer on tap and matching ice cold fountain drinks. I highly recommend you not pass Coperopulis without stopping into Gold Dust Pizza.“

“We were in town for the fair in early July. This place is conveniently located in the main Square. They have a good strawberry milkshake and that cost approximately eight dollars. A double scoop of ice cream with a wafer cone will cost about the same. The staff are very friendly and service was efficient. There is plenty of free parking nearby. While the ice cream was not unexceptional, it certainly was tasty. We recommend mint and chip.“

“Everything was fine for us, but I basically saw one woman doing all the work while the other two just kind of grabbed little jobs here and there. Our service was good, but others seemed a bit annoyed, and some people from the big table outside were even coming in to get things for their table. “We chose Verona 18 to celebrate a major birthday with Eggs Benedict - his favorite! We requested an outside table and double checked days before to be sure that was possible. When we arrived we waited while a table was taken outside for us - which provided us with a lovely (almost) private venue overlooking the golf course. We started with Mimosas, ordered 1 Eggs Benedict and 1 Corned Beef hash with eggs. Service was slow but we were in no hurry - enjoying the view. However, our server was apparently overwhelmed when a large party was seated in the dining room. Our hot dishes were served luke warm and a request for more coffee, and pepper went totally unfulfilled. It's a good thing we were patient, understanding and in a good mood - we counselled the server and let it drop. Now on to the food - even cool, the Eggs Benedict were delicious but the Corned Beef Hash (house made) was extraordinary! Tasty and crisp and wonderful! The morning on the patio with golden sun and good food made for a wonderful start to a birthday. Hopefully the service will improve. This is a lovely restaurant and we will return to give them another try.“
