“What used to be a Mexican restaurant called “Judy’s Place’ in town to the locals couple years back now is called ‘Crockett Cocina’. This place and food is outstanding. I was browsing yelp and saw this on my radar. I had to check it out in person to see based on their ratings. I arrived here with my dad for an early dinner date. Street parking is available. Though the space is small, the place is clean. They provide indoor and outdoor seating. This is a family owned restaurant from the looks and how they act around their customers. I give my props to the chefs, they sure know how to cook it up haha! The pasta was filling and the bread that came with it was soft & crispy. The HouseMade Cioppino with the bread to dip in was to die for lol. And the churros was quite a lot but homemade makes it special! Churros we’re soft and crunchy, came with chocolate & caramel syrup, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream. Overall, the food was great, I’m sure I’ll be back for another visit!“

“Super generous sandwiches, high quality ingredients, very informal atmosphere. For what it is, a small sandwich bar, this place is great! I got the Italian one trip and a grilled sandwich on another trip. Both were yummy and satisfying. The Italian was a bit wet and drippy towards the end tho. People behind the counter are super nice. Seems like the kind of place people go out of their was to visit. You do get too much to eat in a single sitting tho, consider sharing a sandwich or planning on taking some home, as they are super generous!! 4 stars. Yay!!“

“The prime rib (seen in photo) is the slab cut size. The dead fish is a true classic for east bay dining. If you choose to sit outside on the varanda where you will be greeted with stunning views of the bay or a cozy inside booth inside the food will stun you. From amazing sizzling shrimp platers to decadent Carmel cakes your in for a treat at the dead fish. Recommendations recommended.“

“Guys, these Spicy Fries are UN-BEELIEVABLE!!An extra on the sides menu - wow, these are some VERY special spicy fries - glazed and sweet and spicy and crunchy and perfect! And they are unique to this place! But I have a feeling this kind of special chefs recipe will be imitated elsewhere very soon.R&R is also an excellent place, very simple, great local cozy diner style place, you could bring the whole family, my kids loved it, their tortilla omelette, and their homemade corned beef hash breakfasts were amazing - kids keep begging me to come back. But the real star were these fries, wow. And it's very clear that the family running this business is highly invested in everything there. “Very delicious food! I would definitely recommend coming here anytime of the day. Their breakfast, lunch and dinner is amazing and they have a variety. “Omg, what an amazing and super unique dining experience! If you haven't been to Port Costa in the East Bay and are game for a little off the traditional radar adventure, Bull Valley Roadhouse is such a fun alternative to anything but the ordinary. We chose to sit outdoors because the weather was so beautiful, highly recommend! There's a beautiful cocktail/mocktail/beer/wine menu, and they also do special Sunday drinks & brunch from 11a-3p. As for the dinner menu, our party chose to really go all out in honor of a few celebrations we had! We started with the deviled eggs, beef croquettes, fresh bread and honey butter, the Gentleman's relish toast, mac & cheese, and for the grand finale...we chose the largest beef shank I've ever seen served with broccolini and risotto. Everything was shared, and the shank was a $160 plate but split between our whole group, it was not only of epic proportions and extremely photo worthy, but was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and fun. Finishing with a chocolate caramel cookie, scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream, and topped with chocolate whipped cream (so yum!), I literally was in pure culinary heaven. From the XO chili sauce on the deviled eggs (I asked for an extra side of this sauce to use for the rest of the meal), the crispiness of the croquettes and tenderness of the meat inside, the perfect runny egg atop the Gentlemen's toast, the most deliciously sweet honey butter, to the fall off the bone shank, perfectly salted risotto, broccolini crunch, and of course the creamy Mac n cheese (let it sit for a few minutes to harden)...honestly everything was so divine! From the attentive & friendly service to historical funky ambiance, this is just a spot you have to experience for yourself..can't wait to come back to try brunch on a beautiful day! Def worth the extra splurge for a bit of the weekend spontaneous urge..“

“Solid brunch spot. Food was good, huge portions, and the option for bottomless mimosas. They have some good vegetarian options including an impossible patty. No reservations allowed, but you add your name to the check in list. Took about 30 minutes to get seated for a group of 4 (we arrived at 11am and were seated just after 11:30). We were seated in an outdoor tent that was a bit hot from the sun (no ventilation). Friendly servers and they were definitely busy. Were prompt on refilling mimosas though! “My family and I absolutely love this place! The staff is so nice! They make you feel right at home. Some of our favorites have to be the Santa Fe skillet, chocolate chip pancakes (of course!), French toast, and the Cobb salad! Everything is so reasonably priced and comes in LARGE portions! So come hungry or get ready to ask for a to-go box!“

“Ok if I could give 6 stars I would!! It was a Saturday so brunch was in full effect and we had to wait around 30 minutes. It was worth the wait. I had Biscuit and Brisket (no photos too busy enjoying the food) and a margarita. Seriously everything was delicious!! So flavorful. Service was great. They sat us at a larger table so we wouldn't have to wait longer and our server was attentive and fast. We're definitely going back for dinner. And I want to check out their wine spot in Walnut Creek. Oh they have seating outside with heat lamps and inside too. It's family owned and you get a sense of pride from everyone! “Went to try Valentina's for lunch with a friend. Love the open kitchen. Clean. Very attentive staff. Food came out quickly. Very tasty. Highlight of the meal for me was the brioche bread pudding. Looking forward to returning for brunch.“

“The most unpretentious high end dining experience in the area. The venue is quaint with seating for about 20. Great choice of music playing softly in the background. I loved the husband/wife team approach. They seem to have the timing of everything really dialed in. They were both very pleasant and took turns serving the guests. The food was very good although the cheese plate with a huge slab of brioche bread was not my favorite course. My favorite dish was the morel with caviar. I also really enjoyed the carbonated pears. “This was my absolute favorite place in Vallejo but they recently changed their menu and I'm so sad about it! The breakfast burrito used to come with an amazing mole sauce and now it comes with a tomatillo which was good but does not compare to before. Another reason I loved this place was the amount of vegan options they have available, they still have good options- the breakfast burrito has a vegan version with tofu instead of eggs, the black bean burger, avocado tacos, and the Korean bowl. They removed the tofu sandwich, the teriyaki bowl, and the Buddha bowl. I hope to they bring all of these back, they were so good! I also wish they served breakfast longer especially on the weekends instead of cutting it off at 11am. The coffee and service are always great however! They have unique flavors like cardamom and ube. They can get pretty busy but are always friendly and accommodating. Still one of my go to spots though for sure!“

“I’m a local and I’ve been here several times in the weeks since it opened, and I've enjoyed the experience each time. I’ve had two different sandwiches for lunch — the Pesto and the Chipotle, both of them fresh and tasty — and a good sesame bagel with cream cheese for breakfast (to go). The place itself is light and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful, and parking looks really easy (but I walked). Highly recommended!“

“We mainly come here for their $1 Taco Tuesdays, which are excellent and better than a lot of the restaurant tacos which cost a lot more. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and if you're not a beer drinker soft drink or coffee refills are plentiful. One semi-negative is that I don't think their Thursday special "Big Max" is as good as the Mickey D's variety. Haven't tried their weekend breakfast yet but on the menu it looks good.“

“Located in a little plaza but slightly hidden. Took us a sec to find because there isn't a large sign that says "Sherry's Kitchen" - it's tucked in an event center. Has its own parking lot with a lot of space. Inside is a little outdated but clean, seems very fitting. Staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming. Salmon lox - good and good portion of smoked salmon. I liked that they served the capers and onions on the side. I'm being picky but would have preferred the onions to be cut in circles vs chopped. The potato salad was ok, served warm which was a little odd, also wasn't a fan of the bell peppers in it 7/10 Corned beef hash - tasty, not too salty and the meat wasn't too dry. Nothing that stood out. 6/10 Blueberry pancake - this was a highlight. Not too sweet, i think it had fresh blueberries and had slightly crispy edges. 10/10 Overall, would recommend trying but nothing that I feel the need to go again.“

“The owner is one amazing man! The epitome of customer service and bar tending. All the bar tenders were so knowledgeable as well as friendly. Despite having such a big party right at happy hour he made us feel seen and heard, was able to tend to every other party, and gave us a great experience. This will 100% be our go to bar since we’re local and hopefully we have the pleasure of crossing their paths again! If you have a choice come here and get a pickle martini!“

“Nice for the price. A good place to take a date on a moderate budget somewhere with a classy atmosphere and delicious, lovely dishes. Mostly seafood, but they did have a few non-seafood dishes. My only complaint was that my ice tea came pre-sweetened, but as I understand, that was a back-up powdered mix. They did replace it with an alternate unsweetened drink when I requested it.“

“IFKYK! This is a staple for east bay residents. They're always jam packed so sometimes there's a bit of a wait but nothing too atrocious. Their menu has various options, sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming but their breakfasts are portions are delicious! This is a great brunch spot! I love the did eggs Benedict and pancakes. The restaurant itself can be a bit loud and crowded but it's also a well know spot for residents in the area. Parking is fairly easy but since they're busy it's usually full. Luckily there's plenty of other areas to park“

Love how they are representing the PI culture and their food truck is conveniently available next to Armistice Brewery, which has great ambiance. Perfect food pairing with beer!The owners are nice and it took about 10 min for them to whip up my signature Curbside burger, which has Tocino (Filipino bacon) and it was absolutely delicious and filling. The beef patty was hot and flavorful, the brioche bun was a nice bite, the pickled veggies gave a nice acid pop to tickle the tastebuds- everything was hot and fresh and the portion was just enough. Will try their lumpia and other items when I'm back - they also do catering with an extended menu!“

“Good food. The younger girl spilled the smoothie all over the cup. Didn’t wipe it. And then tried to have me carry it. I almost ruined my outfit. I won’t be back for a while. Girl with the ponytail with highlights. Then they forget my raspberry bar. And when I TURN AROUND ALMOST 15 MINS AWAY TO GET IT, the young boy says “Did you forget your bar?” Like no. It was very noisy and crowded inside. I had the $12 grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque soup. The bowl of soup was not very warm and there wasn't much of it, but it was good. The sandwich was just laughable. It tasted like Velveeta cheese in Wonder bread. I had expected a more interesting bread and cheese. This was what I used to make for my children when they were young! It was fun to sit outside and watch the passing parade. The servers did their best. There are obviously better choices than what I had ! But I expected much more from such a highly regarded restaurant.“
