“Been familiar with Chef Celsie for some time. What is so imperative to highlight is the fact that when you have a true fusionist of tasteful delicacies; then you know you are just about to experience culinary heaven in your mouth. That is Chef Celsie, her deep knowledge of so many different kinds of culinary cultures makes her as force to be reckoned in La La Land. So in other words, you truly are in for a real treat!! #simplydelicious“

“Si lo recomiendo, la comida muy buena y hoy después de un arduo día de trabajo en el Peru Village Festival, vinimos y nos llevamos un grata impresión, su gente súper amigable, había música increíble, me sentí en mi Callao Querido. Gracias por hacer que mi día termine súper bien :)“

“No family trip to SoCal from San Francisco is complete without coming here. Our LA cousin had shown us around Hollywood and taken us here for dinner. Located in a small little plaza by a 7-11, you would have never known this was here. You'd have no idea the hidden gem hidden in the corner would have some of the best Peruvian food I've ever had. I haven't been here in 10 years, but I'm so glad we did! Food is still amazing. I never forgot about the green sauce. We ordered a variety of dishes that were all so delicious.“

“The food is Peruvian in name only. This restaurant in Lima would fail miserably. The food is bad and does not have any Peruvian flavors, and the portions are absurd. As they say where I'm from, "están jugando a la cocinita." Not worth it.“

“We got the lomo saltado and chicken tallarin. Large portions and the two of us had ample leftoversUpdate: I’ve dined in every time. We most recently got takeout and it was not the same. I would say set aside the time to wait for a table and eat-in.“

“Really nice waiter attended us. We came here because loaded cafe had nobody attending guests. It was a cute little typical hispanic place. Restroom is through the kitchen which is pretty unhygienic but whatever. Fresh ingredients and food was flavorful except for the eggs but overall solid. Pupusas were huge but I didn't try them.“

“We went for dinner, we arrived at 8pm and there was no service at the table, only takeaway... the food was very delicious and well served, the place is not very big but it is cozy! Totally recommended... the prices are affordable, we ordered for two and spent around 40 dollars.Kid-friendliness: If you come from Peru or Latin America you will find rice!!! “This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. I am coming from Boston and was not anticipating what I walked into. The servers are very loving and appreciative of their customers. They offered us complementary shots because it was my birthday and they were very busy with a 15+ party. It was super busy but they were still attentive to them and our party. They managed to still make sure that we were good. 10/10 highly recommend“

“Parking: They only have about 3 regular parking spots and one handicap parking spot. So, parking is extremely difficult no matter what time you go. The food is worth the stress of getting parking.Kid-friendliness: I have been coming to this place for over 30 years and I have always been treated with courtesy“

“Rikas Peruvian restaurant is like the 5th or 6th Peruvian restaurant I've been to in LA. It's interesting because it's located in Koreatown. But this little Peruvian restaurant packs a bunch. I enjoyed it a lot. It's like classic Peruvian comfort food. If you guys haven't tried their ceviche mixto, it is a must try. It's probably the best Peruvian ceviche I'd had in LA. Nice fresh raw fish, and the sourness to the juice was just about right. Their chaufa pollo, or chicken fried rice, was also another knockout. It's safe to say that this is the best fried rice I've had outside of any Asian restaurant. Haha. Their lomo saltado was also pretty solid. Great sauce, fries, and steak. In all, I would highly recommend Rikas if you are in town. It is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in the area. You'll feel so great after eating the food here. The chef Jose is also a hospitable man. Look out for him if you come here. I shot a Youtube video of my experience at Rikas, which you can find on my Youtube channel Rockstar Eater.“

“Based on the current inflated prices of Peruvian food, this place is a great deal price wise for trying assorted Peruvian dishes. Highly recommended if you're looking to try Peruvian food for the first time and are on a budget. Plenty of parking in the strip mall it's located in.IG: kay_okay_eat“
