“Few months ago, I brought a Ube Coconut Roll for one of our aunties' party. She loved it. And so did everyone else apparently because later that week I was asked if I could bring another one for a different party. Delicious and I love the pretty purple and white colors. Most of the time, I buy things that look pretty but I'm so happy this also tasted delicious. Can't wait to try the chocolate roll one of these days because that looks so good, too. Separately, I have been wanting to sample their empanadas, so on one occasion we got their chicken, beef, and pork. All tasty, but I really like their sweet Ube coconut roll more.“

“Came in Thursday morning to buy some buns and reserve a cake for my niece bday. I SWEAR they have a strawberry chiffon cake, but the girl that helped me said they never had it. Not sure if they stop making it. While going thru my phone the night before, my niece found an 8inch chocolate cake from 85 (3 years ago), but I didn't see it in their display, she said she wanted that one again. I also showed her a strawberry deluxe or mango creme brûlée. It was up to me, I went for the mango crème brûlée. The girl that helped me was nice and made it very easy. I wish they offer smaller cake but they only make 8inches. I paid for everything at once. Made the reservation to pick up at 2pm, just need to bring in my cake receipt that they give you a copy of. Came in at 1:30pm and my cake is all ready! Cake was delicious! Even tho the mango fruit cubes was hard, it was sweet enough. My mom thought the cake itself was a bit too sweet. Niece and nephew loved it. My brother ate 2 slices. Definitely will be back to order cakes for more bday. This bakery & Fancy Little Wheat Field are my places to go for cakes.“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“Wonderful service. They accommodated our custom requests that were placed shortly before the delivery date was due.The cake itself was delicious and a hit amongst everyone. The fact that the cake was not too sweet was the icing on the cake, so to speak.“

“Bumping up for the breads. That's really what you should come here for. The seeded sourdough is excellent even plain. I prefer it to the kamut miche (which is only available on the weekends), since I liked the nuttiness from the seeds and I found the miche was incredibly hard to slice (granted, it was moister/softer inside). Their dinner rolls are also excellent, super buttery and fluffy, my boyfriend was a fan. Their bread pricing is also super reasonable compared to other SF bakeries. The almond croissant is meh, I found it too sweet and not flaky enough.“

“This is a really nice patisserie in the Marina district where you can enjoy one of the most crunchy, flaky, buttery croissants in the City. Their chocolate croissants are also filled with melted chocolate and are scrumptious in the early morning. The pear tart is delicious, not too sweet, and freshly made.Nice job . Keep it up!“
“If there is one positive thing came from the pandemic, it is Philippe Delarue’s ingenious idea to open up a bake shop here in front of his flat. It’s one of my favorite places to invite friends on Saturday or Sunday morning. You can’t go wrong with any of his goods, but my personal favorite is the bread pudding. Delarue will generously add his “adults only” whiskey sauce upon ordering. He is too humble to bring up the story himself, but ask him about his journey here – including stints in Le Mans, Paris, London, and Montreal. I can’t locate the article anymore but I think he once had the honor of baking for the queen! ☺️“

“My sweet tooth has led me to visit many bakeries all over, so when I moved here, finding my go to bakery was top of my list. This place is the real deal. Proper cream cheese frosting (not too sweet with a pleasant tang) tops some of their most decadent goods. The pastries feel familiar, but are uniquely delicious. So far I've tried the guava danish, croissant, bread pudding, banana muffin, sweet potato pie and the cinnamon roll. Each item has been outstanding.“

“The donuts and the coffees are so delightful the delicious flavors of the different donuts. It's to be admired and adored because not many places give you the variety that you have here. Servers were wonderful atmosphere was fantastic. What's not to love? Please check out diamond donuts if you're in San Francisco.“

“Delicate and delicious pastries! The flavors are fun and the execution is flawless. The Burnt Honey Pie was the highlight, but we loved the wife's cake too. There was no line and the owner was very nice. Can't wait to go back and try the pineapple cake and more!“

“It's officially Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month and to celebrate I'm jumping on Yelp to write about this fabulous Asian-owned and Woman-owned coffee/pastry shop in SF. I was in town and of course I needed to find a coffee shop nearby before I started on a three hour road trip. I searched on Yelp and Craftsman and Wolves popped right up. The reviews are great and the photos had me eager to pay them a visit. I found cheap parking right out front and was lucky to arrive when no one else was in line. The staff was super friendly and gave me recommendations and explained their pastries. My goodness did I want to grab up some of those beauties but since I was going to be on the road and many of them need to be refrigerated, I went with a classic croissant. I also got a latte, duh. Oat milk with lavender over ice was my choice for the delay. It was down right delicious. So much so that I literally said it out loud to myself when I got back in the car. While my croissant was really just a croissant, if I ever find myself in SF again craving a pastry, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.“

“A great place that doesn't really need another 5-star review. I visited both locations and was impressed with both, I met the owner at the Hahdough Kitchen on Laguna, she waited on me personally. At Laguna you transact your business via a storefront window. Fell street is set up like a regular bakery where you go in and select from items in a glass case. Wife sampled both the Black Forest and Gentleman's cake, opted for the latter. I was more for the Black Forest myself. I also tried the Berliner and Cinnamon pastry because I deserved a reward for my efforts. All were great. One heads-up: they close at 3p which is a rude realization when they call you at 2:40pm while you are en route via Muni and 40 minutes away, the day before wife's birthday. A quick disembarkation and Lyft ride later, all good.“

“Such a cute little dessert shop in outer sunset. I got the mango bento cake for a friends birthday and it was so pretty. I liked the tiramisu and hazelnut praline cake, light and not overly sweet. And they so many other cute desserts. Make sure to check it out!“

“My first time here was a positive experience! I asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed with my drink. I waited a short while, but I don’t mind waiting if that means my food will be prepared with care, and it was. Sandwich was very good. My only anecdote is that the music inside was very loud so if you want to work, you would probably want to sit outside, which some patrons were. I was also a little bit concerned about the fly situation inside, and the pastries are relatively uncovered. Luckily, I wasn’t there for pastries.“

“Best bakery in West portal! The staff is always so friendly! The most delicious pastries! I usually get the oat milk latté and it’s yummy! I also love the scones and croissants. Lots of cake and cupcake options!! Very neighborly feel!! Nice but limited seating outside!“

“If you're in the mood for a decent tasting croissant or french-style pastry or sandwich, and you're near FiDi, SoMa, or the Embarcadero, this spot has fairly solid offerings. I was in the area and turned back after passing the window when I saw their croissants on display. Picked up a plain croissant and pineapple custard/brulee croissant pastry to try. Both had the right amount of crispiness/flakiness and airiness to their bite. The pineapple custard was tasty with a nice char on top to bring out the caramelized sugar and pineapple flavor. Croissants and pastries run about $5 to $7. They also seem to have sandwiches ranging from $9 (for their breakfast sammie) to about $16 for more filling and savory choices. They also have a few tables inside to seat about 8 people, within their narrow store that has entrances from both Market St and the other end of the store on Sutter St.“

“I realize it sounds kind of cliché but I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant and hassle free experience. Believe you me when I say that ordering a custom cake is no easy fit - thinking of design, decoration elements, etc. Now with Yana, I just told her the general theme and she did the rest. She emailed me a sketch next morning which I obviously approved since her design was better than I could ever imagine myself. Anyhow, long story short, if you need a custom cake designed and made for you, go see Yana at My Baking Creations. And lastly, I’d be remiss not to mention how delicious it was. Thank you to My Baking Creations and Yana in particular.“
