“Love love love. I’m a little late to leave a review. My friend got me one matcha and one strawberry cake for my birthday last year and I loved them so much that I drove from Mountain View to Fremont on my birthday to get a big earl gray cake for my celebration with family. I have recommended them to almost everyone. Perfect texture, sweetness level (I don’t like super sweet cakes) and frosting. I make the earl gray cake a little more festive but their minimal designs are great.“

“Slightly expensive, about $5.50 for one donut but everything was delicious. The cafe is self serve, has a variety of options, and offers large fresh cakes. Efficient and quick service. The coffee was delicious! It's beside a Starbucks and I would choose this over Starbucks, easily. They have good seating inside and outside. A few people were working on laptops inside the cafe so I'm sure there's wifi too. I'd come back.“

“For any special occasion or celebration.. when you are looking for cakes, pastries or any sweet treat, one of those few names that comes to mind is 85C. They have fresh, soft and yummy baked goods that would cater to the diverse set of palates. Today, we were looking for exquisite options so we bought the following pastries : Chocolate, Mango, Strawberry and Black Forest along with Mango Roll. My friend and I purchased multiple salted egg yolk buns from here; best believe we consumed them all - couldn't help it, the stuff is addictive fr. The flavor combos we got (1. Mochi x Pork Floss x Salted Egg Yolk 2. Sesame-Crusted Black Sesame Paste x Salted Egg Yolk 3. Molten Egg Yolk x Red Bean) are creative and the flavor pairings in each one somehow work harmoniously. Every bun possesses a hint of sweetness, slight savory element and righteous touch of umami - they've nailed it man“

“I love the pastries or bread there. I love the 85 cents deal on their coffee. The deal for the hot or cold coffee is not good of a deal as the Salted Sea Salt ice coffee for a large size but still worth it for their smaller size hot/cold coffee. I used to buy as much as I could for their Sea Salt Iced Coffee every Monday but now I just buy 1 hot and 1 cold coffee in some Mondays. Cashiers are very nice and friendly. Not sure about the workers that brings out the bake goods since they don’t really talk. One time I asked what kind of bread it is, but I think she didn’t understand me.“

“This place never disappoints me. Have plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. For two of us, ordered Mini strawberry croissants, Feuillete Au Chocolate, Hot dog roll and mini blueberry pastries. Each and every item was baked with perfection. Highly recommend this eatery!“
