“The staff was friendly and professional. Our wait was short but it seemed to take a while to get our drink orders and appetizers served. The pot roast was tender and tasty. The cod sandwich was wonderful with huge portions on a ciabatta roll. But potato chips on the side? Desserts were delectable and looked gorgeous. Quiet and dark atmosphere.“

Baba ghanoush has so smoky and roasted flavor to it. Love the way they authentically cook Middle eastern cusines! Multi layered spices(especially Tumeric) flavors come through in a nice way.“

Very friendly people, very clean and well organized market with a great selection of fresh fruits,cookies ,beans and a lot of other Middle Eastern products . “Rumi is as good as it gets around here. Coffees are great and the food is great. My family lives coming here too. I brought my cousins here and they loved it as well. My kids love the smoothies. Smaller place, but all of the patrons are deep in their converatiin and enjoying their time at Cafe Rumi. I hope to come here for years to come.“

“I kid you not, the lamb gyro here just might be the most delicious thing I've ever eaten in my life, and I am not a young person. I don't know how they manage to make the gyro so flavorful, but it's absolutely ridiculous, in a really good way though. I could eat here every day. Servers are prompt, smart and pleasant. Even simple things like water and iced tea were elevated. And the price is right, hasn't jacked up as much as the average. Every time I'm there I'm surprised they are not more crowded because it's great. “My go to for lunch whenever I'm working in this area. I always order the Saaj wrap with falafel or chicken shawafel with all the fixings and it always hits the spot. The many options for fresh ingredients to add to your wrap or bowl is one of the many things I love about Saaj. The green sauce is a must! Not to mention, each meal comes with a warm lentil soup, which is great way to start any meal. The lady that works here provides genuinely, friendly service and is informative if you have any questions. My only wish is that they had a location closer to where I reside in Fairfield!“

“As a night shift nurse it's always hard to find good food spots that are open late at night, but I was so lucky to stumble upon this place. By far my favorite item on the menu is the gyro wrap but I always get the green chutni sauce to go with it and it's amazing. Besides the good food though the service is equally as great as Sabry who is always working when I go there late at night always greets me with a friendly smile always makes sure my food is nice and warm when I come to pick it up. 10/10 all around“

“We have eaten here numerous times and the falafel (my fave) is always hot and fresh and they salads and sauces in the pita are generous so its a lovely full taste. We always take a bag of pitas home to use in subsequent days. The prices seem reasonable for the quality they serve. Just watch out for the aggressive drivers in the parking lot (shared with Trader Joe etc. - wow those Lafayette folks are intense)“
