“Don't let the lack of a vibey vibe deter you from the tasty quick and no-nonsense items they dish up. I had the Thai Salad Wrap and it was super nice and tasty, simple and fresh. The peanut sauce was just as they describe it on their menu . . . I'll butcher it but something like, "really good peanut sauce." And indeed it was. It was light and punchy and I hope that's how it is all the time.Also, it was great service. She helped me decide between a Turkey Pesto Panini and the wrap. I appreciate that in the age of poor service/post-covid era.“

“My boss is vegan (pesca) and I'm not. He was more than happy with this find. Great menu, quick, fresh, attractive food and great value. Dining room is both elegant and comfortable. Servers are prompt, smart and pleasant. Even simple things like water and iced tea were elevated. And the price is right, hasn't jacked up as much as the average. Every time I'm there I'm surprised they are not more crowded because it's great. “We have eaten here numerous times and the falafel (my fave) is always hot and fresh and they salads and sauces in the pita are generous so its a lovely full taste. We always take a bag of pitas home to use in subsequent days. The prices seem reasonable for the quality they serve. Just watch out for the aggressive drivers in the parking lot (shared with Trader Joe etc. - wow those Lafayette folks are intense)“

“The staff was friendly and professional. Our wait was short but it seemed to take a while to get our drink orders and appetizers served. The pot roast was tender and tasty. The cod sandwich was wonderful with huge portions on a ciabatta roll. But potato chips on the side? Desserts were delectable and looked gorgeous. Quiet and dark atmosphere.“

“I'm in awe. We ordered from here for a work lunch, I had never heard of this place prior and now I can't wait to go back. I ordered a chicken schwarma in a pita and WOW. The pita was so fluffy, packed with meat and fillings, the sauce had so much flavor. I can't recommend this place more!“

“I was very happy to find this Mediterranean place in Alameda. You order either a pita, wrap, or bowl, and then you customize it however you want. You can choose a protein then add the extras you want. Some of the extras cost extra, but there are also plenty of free extras as well. Some of the free extras (like beets) are pretty skimpy though. One thing I learned is there are different types of couscous. I've always been accustomed to the Israeli couscous, which are tiny pearl-like pastas. But here, they have Moroccan couscous, which is more like a grain. This tasted great in the salad. What we had..+ Chicken shawarma wrap - Very well put together and very tasty. However, it was a bit smaller than wraps from Kebab Shop or Halal Guys.+ Chicken shawarma bowl - I added a lot of extras, and somehow it all tasted great together. The hummus was quite a bit thicker than I'm used to. The texture wasn't conducive to mixing with your salad or for dipping your pita in, but still very tasty.Overall, this was a happy find.“

“We always get the chicken cilicia dinner and the chicken pomegranate dinner, but today we got the lamb lule dinner instead of the chicken. Everything was delicious. We always get the salad for one dinner and the soup for the other. The baba ghanoush is also one of our favorites. We arrived just before the dinner rush, so it was quiet and romantic, then the place was bustling with activity. Service is great too.“

“This place is banging. I wandered by it and went in on a whim- the gyro and garlic cheese fries are so good!!! I told my friends, and went in about a week later with my mom. So good, again! The lamb in the gyro is really good, and the platter came with hummus, rice, and pita that were all really well cooked. I'm not a foodie,but that place is tasty as get out. “This was the first time I tried the chicken souvlaki plate and it's now my favorite dish. I typically go for the beef/lamb gyro pita but this is my now go to! The ambience was welcoming and the staff was friendly. Everything was clean and packaged nicely. Will be coming back in the future!!“

“As a night shift nurse it's always hard to find good food spots that are open late at night, but I was so lucky to stumble upon this place. By far my favorite item on the menu is the gyro wrap but I always get the green chutni sauce to go with it and it's amazing. Besides the good food though the service is equally as great as Sabry who is always working when I go there late at night always greets me with a friendly smile always makes sure my food is nice and warm when I come to pick it up. 10/10 all around“

“Simply delicious. Troy is conveniently located right across the Alameda Theater. I had the lamb kebab plate. The lamb was perfectly tender, juicy and flavorful. The same for the chicken kebab platter as well. The hummus appetizer was creamy and the bread was soft on the inside with a perfect crunch on the outside. Their green hot sauce—wooo!I was tempted to take it home. I kept dropping some on my rice which was fluffy, moist and with a nice saffron aroma.Last, but not least, the customer service was just superb.“
