“Easily the greatest bar in rural San Joaquin County. On Saturday night this bar was like something out of a Toby Keith song. You had the old timers, the college students, the farmers, the tourists coming back from Yosemite, and an after party for a local MMA fight in Modesto. The bar has a great selection of draft and bottled beers at a reasonable price. It has the homey and friendly feel of a local dive bar but has been recently renovated so it still looks pristine and nonthreatening. Check out this place if you are on Highway 120 and want to drink beers a safe distance away from Stockton.“

“First of all, this place is what downtown Riverbank needs. A reason for people to come downtown, hang out and socialize. Black Sheep has a nice atmosphere with the ability to dine outside if you wanted that includes a gas firepit to sit by. Plenty of room for indoor dining as well. I had a dinner salad that was pretty good.“

“I’ve driven by a few times and today I decided to stop by for some lunch. It’s definitely a hidden gem. Today I ordered a chicken wet burrito with both sauces and it came out delicious. Usually chicken is bland and dry. But they definitely know how to cook here and season the food. Our server Lissette was phenomenal! Fast and welcoming. Definitely will recommend and come back again.“

“Tonight we went to MEMOS restaurant for my daughter's birthday. From the time we entered the restraunt, to the time we left, everyone treated us so nice! The server, Priscilla, was one of the best waitresses I have had. She was helpful, kind, excellent waitress!! The manager, Maguel, he was so nice as well. I know a manager leads the team. He has been an example of what a manager should be to his staff, this is why you have a great staff. They follow the leader. Ceasar, Deangelo, J busser, all of these employees were awesome!
