“Been coming here for years. Every year on my birthday. Ignore the NPC 1 star reviews, they're not real. They are just there to offset the algorithm. Salads are not free.The pizza: Perfect pizza construction. Essential pizza infrastructure needs met. Sauce amounts satisfactory, toppings perfect, two layers of cheese and the dough is always cooked perfectly, with tasty and crunchy crust. There is always cheese on the crust: an added positive feature.My friend ate this pizza with three exposed roots on his teeth, and he ate to satiety.I have never had a bad experience here and never will. “Came here for the first time and tried their pop up dinner. Menu is a set course. Price is fair compared to other menus in the area. Service was casual and friendly which I liked. Ambience is cute. Quality of food was good and tasty. I would definitely come to another pop up dinner and come back for brunch.”

“I bought a Denver omelette hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Biscuits weren't dry at all and the gravy had a lot of flavor. Absolutely amazing... the waitress was kind and the food was great. Definitely will be coming back.”

“I went in to purchase a good dessert wine right before Valentine's Day and the gentleman working let me try 4 different wines free of charge. I purchased two whites, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc along with a red blend. I plan on going back to actually do a wine tasting and have their charcuterie board that looks yummy! Oh and place inside is really cute and they have an outdoor patio with fire pits so yes....will definitely refund to enjoy the whole experience.”

“My wife and I go here as much as possible. I love the sesame chicken and usually get a 2 item bento box along with some unagi. Super good and the 1 item bento is such a deal being $12. Haven't had a bad visit yet!”

“I've been eating this Krispy krunchy Chicken since 2019 when I was driving truck in the Bay Area. As long as you get it fresh and hot it's good stuff to eat. The chicken sandwiches were really good though a lot of places don't sell them no more. And they had used to have a sauce called boom boom sauce cuz they don't sell anymore it was a hot spicy sauce that was really great. They started to bring the franchise towards the valley where I reside and it's hit and miss around Stockton California. There's a place down on Thornton Road that sells it nice and hot all the time and there's a place on Center and Park Street that sells it the full variety with the biscuits. There's a place on Waterloo a little gas station that sells it also but they hold back I guess they only make enough for the day because they have the option that whatever they don't sell you can buy cold chicken and what they called Snap bags you can buy them with food stamps. I would highly suggest that anybody that likes Fried Chicken try this chicken hot and fresh but like anything else a lot of fried chicken will clog up your arteries so you moderation in anything you do”

“I stopped by Mi Tierra yesterday for a late lunch/early dinner. The ambience is great, it's super cute in there. I have a lot of stomach sensitivities so my diet is quite strict. I ordered the vegetarian burrito and asked the waitress to make sure there was no tomatoes so I swapped the salsa for tomatillo salsa and left out the pico de gallo. I've had a lot of vegetarian burritos and normally they have the grilled fajita veggies in them and I'm really just not a fan. This was not that, honest to God it was the best vegetarian burrito I have had in the longest time, if not ever. And the agua de Horchata was legit. The ambience was nice and clean, the service was good, the food was great; definitely recommend and will come back.”

“There is a restaurant section and a bar section people working there are very professional, and the people that frequent this establishment are family oriented people, it has a small town atmosphere and the food is excellent especially the tri-tip sandwiches. They are closed on Mondays only.”

“Very good berger's. The menu has a lot of choices. If you want beer or wine, they can accommodate. If you are in the mood for something sweet, try one of the many flavors of milk shakes. It's a great place that will satisfy. I highly recommend it.”

“This place saved us driving back from Camp Tawonga with a grumpy toddler. The fro yo hit the spot, the bathroom was used by all members of the family, and the play area was sooooo appreciated. Plus, it's in the same shopping plaza as a huge antique store. I want to come back next time I'm on this route.”

“I buy Rosa’s pastries at Baba’s Bazaar on Hwy 120 before entering Escalon. Love the fruit pies and Blue Berry turnovers. Apricot and Apple turnovers are also delicious. Flaky crust melts in the mouth. Pleasure to have Rosa’s in Escalon.”

“It's the best pizza place I've been to out of hundreds, and I will drive more than an hour off route for some Big E amazingness. Been coming here since they were new on Main St and I'm super happy that the great quality, branding, and experience haven't changed.”

“Easily the greatest bar in rural San Joaquin County. On Saturday night this bar was like something out of a Toby Keith song. You had the old timers, the college students, the farmers, the tourists coming back from Yosemite, and an after party for a local MMA fight in Modesto. The bar has a great selection of draft and bottled beers at a reasonable price. It has the homey and friendly feel of a local dive bar but has been recently renovated so it still looks pristine and nonthreatening. Check out this place if you are on Highway 120 and want to drink beers a safe distance away from Stockton.”
