“This spot is good if you're very hungry like I always am. I got a combo Teri beef and chicken with extra Teri and thousand island sauce on top. Be advised you're able to get the same sauce they charge .$50 for at the dining tables. The service is good. Sometimes their system goes down and turns to cash only. This has only happened once to me. But I always call first before I go to double check. This spot has been around for years and I highly recommend it. Cheers!“

“Kikka makes the refrigerated sushi at Whole Foods Streeterville. IDK much about transport or where it's made/assembled but salmon looks great that's supposed to expire tomorrow (see photo).Refrigerated SALMON NIGIRI tasted as good as just-made Nigiri. ? I did read the ingredients lists, nothing suspicious/unreadable.Refrigerated NIGIRI RICE still tasted soft and intact.Refrigerated SALMON was buttery on each bite with zero resistance. Edges were not dry at all.I did check out the ROLLS as well, it didn't look as good as the Salmon selections.Please add additional soy sauce packet.At $14, it's an average price but certainly much better quality, thickness and size than other restaurants. As a TO-GO, tip is eliminated. Accessible.“

“I enjoyed the food. I ordered it through Uber eats and Tosai Kitchen packed really well. The miso soup was covered in plastic wrap and then closed with the lid to prevent a spill, the food was placed in a brown paper bag and then stapled in a secure way so the food would not move around during transportation. I got the Miso Soup, Shrimp Dumpling and Salmon Avocado Roll, everything tasted great, looked presentable and I wouldn’t mind ordering from them again.“

“Lovely spot with incredible atmosphere and food.The food was presented nicely and tasted even better. Would highly recommend the scallop/uni course and the skewers! the beef tongue was our favourite.As for the bone marrow, it was a little shallow and the miso overpowered it.Overall, I’d highly recommend n/soto to anyone looking for Japanese food around the area. Would definitely come again.“

“Pictured are the Tokyo Rich Tsukemen and the Smoked Dashi Ramen.The Tokyo Rich Tsukemen carried my experience here at Tonchin LA. I came here solely for the noodles made in collaboration with Keizo Shimamoto from Shimamoto Noodle Inc. They are really the star of the bowl. The tonkotsu gyokai broth was alright, but overall, this was one of the better tsukemen you can find in Socal imo.The Smoked Dashi Ramen, on the other hand, was quite weird. It starts off fine but the longer you take to eat it, the fishier the broth will get so get ready to slurp fast ?“

“Take all my money, Yama! I've been here over 10 times and recommended this place to all my sashimi & sushi lover friends, who also fell in love with it. I discovered this GEM when I was looking for healthy options and it quickly became my go-to spot to stock up on sashimi and sushi for the week. This little market has a sashimi counter where you pick the prepackaged sashimi and the chef will slice it for you fresh. I come here at minimum 1-2x/ week to get my sashimi fix, especially because they have really affordable rolls and nigiri's with amazing fish to rice ratios. My favorite rolls to get here are the Kaisen roll and the lemon salmon roll. Since I'm into fitness, I actually weighed the fish and a 4 piece roll has 30g of protein,10g of fat, and 30g of carbs. I stock up on my favorite rolls to make eating healthy easy and enjoyable. The people here are also soo kind and always greet you with a smile. I couldn't be a happier customer and am so grateful to have a Japanese spot with quality food in the area!“
