We read about these burgers on some sort of best burgers list a while ago and had it saved since. They definitely lived up to it! The goldburger was so good - pretty meaty but nice and crispy patties, grilled onions, and a tasty aioli. The bun was nice and soft but an even better bun and the option to add something spicy like a grilled jalapeno would really put it over the top for me. Goldburger is hands-down my favorite burger place in Highland Park. My go-to options are the classic, juicy Goldburger or the delectable, extra cheesy Patty Melt; I always modify them to add chopped chilies to round out and balance all of the hearty, rich, meaty and satisfying flavors. A tiny place tucked in the neighborhoods of Highland Park, Goldburger is a great place for a smash burger! The curly fries rounded out the meal. The shack is so small that you'd miss it if you were looking for it. Sitting outside in their side patio was a perfect way to spend your lunchtime.
