“Such good vibes at this small town establishment. They have great staff, host live bands & have the cutest rustic back yard patio area & artsy stage setting for the awesome musicians they host. There's a rug in front of the stage for folks that want to dance and kids that want to play. They have a small but excellent selection of yummy food & and quite a few nice rotating brews on tap. You will love the feel of this place. And they're dog friendly & very down to earth here! Intimate setting. Met the owners and they're such lovely humans. Highly recommend!”

“BRILLIANT! This place is a MUST VISIT! The staff are so incredible and warm, very relaxed environment and it's a special place locals come to celebrate anniversaries, etc. My Ribeye was buttaaaaa, marbled and cooked to perfection. The entire experience was lovely from start to finish. It's one of those places you wish an endless appetite is possible. I can't rave enough about the staff! Impeccable! And their strawberry margaritas are to die for. I do Yelp to highlight exceptional service, or horrible. Not to peddle these 3 to 4 and 1/4th star ratings about something as absurd as the napkins weren't soft enough. This place is EXCELLENT! If you don't go, your loss and just more for me!”

“This place is so much fun! We're from Merced & pass by on our way to Yosemite. I've been wanting to stop in for ages but it was the breakfast burritos sign that finally pulled my husband in. I wasn't sure what to expect but figured they probably sold lemonade & they do but there's so much more. They also have coffee, cocoa, Mexican street corn & fruit cups, other tasty treats, knickknacks & a carefully curated thrift store w/ clothes, shoes, accessories, more knickknacks, home decor & vintage toys. There's something for everyone. I look forward to making The Lemon Drop a place we'll regularly stop in when we're passing through. -Oh! & The breakfast burritos are amazing. They're made fresh, tasty & are a perfect fuel to start a day.”

“Oh, man, we had been traveling all day and stopped by the the truck. We were greeted with smiles that showed they were glad we came. I have never enjoyed a burrito more than this one, chucked plumply with rice, beans, cilantro, guacamole, seasoned ground beef, and more. Don’t miss this when you come to Mariposa. Oh, in a homemade tortilla that was amazing!”

“If in Mariposa and you do not really want to dine out but do not really want to cook, I highly recommend Mariposa take and bake. The pizzas are fantastic! The best pizza crust to date for us! Several choices on toppings. They also have great salads. The large size sald fed 4 of us. Great food and great price!”

“A perfect place to pick up sandwiches in Mariposa on the way to Yosemite! It's one block off from the main street - check on google maps because it's easy to miss. It's run by a kind gentleman who took our orders. Sandwiches are simple, made with fresh veggies and ingredients. The turkey sandwich used thick sliced turkey which tasted amazing. The sandwiches are huge and filling. Worth the stop!”

“Bartender was very knowledgeable about the draft beers and recommended a few really great ones - plus allowed me to sample them before I parted with cash. Atmosphere is great with a choice of inside and outside seating. Food menu is quirky but covers all the bases. Highly recommend.Parking: Free parking on the opposite side of the river, less than 5 minute walk”

“Finally stopped in this place after thinking it would be closed on Easter Sunday. Hole in the wall hunters cafe off the Golden Chain (49) highway between Mariposa and Ahwahnee. Fun outdoorsman decor and good service. The cafe has been awarded locally for Best Breakfast on numerous occasions, but we found the food good, not great, especially for the small portions and outrageous prices (over $50 breakfast for just 2 people). I'd stop in again to "chew the fat" with the owner, a fellow outdoorsman, and supprtive community supporter. I'm just not sure I'd have a meal. YMMV”

“Stopped here on our way out of Mariposa after a weekend at Yosemite. Didn't get there before they ran out of breakfast burritos, sadly, so got a frittata instead that were good -- and a fantastic hazelnut latte. Loved the friendly service!”

“It's close quarters if you're dining in, but this hometown bakery has the best cookies and event cakes in town. When you say you brought a Jantz cake to a party, everyone is excited like little kids! More than one finger scraped frosting from the cake in my group of professionals. The chocolate chip cookies are out of this world delicious and they even sell refrigerated dough. I recommend Jantz to locals and tourists alike.Kid-friendliness: Every kid is enchanted when they see the bakery case full of cookies and cupcakes and so many other goodies!”

“Vegetarian options: There's options like salads or veggies sub or a personal sized veggie pizza.Parking: Parking is good at most times, but Friday & Saturday evenings in the summer may be difficult with tourists coming out of the park.”

“We had an appetizer, 2 ramen bowls, a softdrink, a beer, and 3 glasses of wine.The ramen are good. The broth is thick and very tasty. The ramen were not my favorite (I like udon), but tasty however.The wine that is served is really good. We had the zinfandel first which was really tastefull.It was a sundayevening, and the owner opened 2 new bottles for us to taste local wines. The wines were amazing. We really enjoyed our time at this place.The building is an authentic 19th century building. The owner will tell you about it if you ask.Really great place, good noodles and amazing wine.”

“After a long drive from the Bay Area, my wife and I stopped by the Pizza Factory in Mariposa for some lunch. The vegetarian pizza we ordered was a new taste sensation that was surprisingly off the charts delicious. The price was very reasonable and the people working there make you feel at home with their welcoming friendly nature.”

“I freaking love this place and eat here weekly! Their enchiladas are so good that I never get sick of them. Love their shredded chicken, shredded beef and chili verde enchiladas. The wait staff is always so quick, remembers my orders, always kind and so sharp. I've never once had bad service here. The cook is also wonderful. If I ever forget any part of my order he always remembers and adds it for me. Where else can you get that kind of service? Hard to beat!!”

“Me and my wife went here for lunch. She ordered the Taco Dorados with Frijoles and I ordered 3 Fish Tacos with Rice and Beans. The fish tacos was prepared very nicely, the fish was fried with a good amount of toppings with homemade sauce that gave it a savory flavor. My wife order was chicken taco with potatoes, jalapeno peppers and a side of beans. Customer service was good and the wait time was decent. Wasn't crowded so we didn't have to wait for a table. Will definitely come back.”
