“Quite literally the best Mediterranean food in the Bay Area!! If you're lucky enough to enjoy some Fava, you're quite lucky indeed. The falafel is crispy and all the ingredients are sourced carefully and the resulting quality is phenomenal!Jeremy and his wife are amazing and the kindest business owners I have come across in Berkeley - they really put the love into the food they serve.My go to's are the Falafel Flatbread Sandwich, Escarole Salad With Blood Oranges, and the Mango Lassi to wash it down. “Came on a Saturday evening, and there was a long line down the block. They only serve 1 type of pizza and 1 type of salad, and you decide how much you want of each. For the pizza, you can order per slice, half pie, or whole pie. You order at the front and then choose a seat if you're dining in. Since there's only one choice for everything, it all comes out right away when you order and pay. If you want anything specialized - gluten-free, vegan, etc then they tell you to go to counter to order first, then get in line to pay. Would recommend getting the green sauce as well for an extra delicious kick. They also have outdoor dog friendly dining. Delicious pizza, highly recommend.“

“My go-to matcha latte spot! My boyfriend introduced me to this place and I always find a reason to come here to satisfy my matcha craving. I don't typically get matcha lattes but their strawberry lychee matcha latte always hits the spot. I've tried a variety of their mochi donuts and muffins and they're pretty tasty. I like how they have a variety of Asian flavors like ube, Thai tea, and matcha. I always recommend this place to my friends when they're in the area, and so far, they've all enjoyed it. The employees are all super nice and consistently make great lattes. The place itself is small, with a few tables inside and outside the shop. The parking situation is not bad considering it's located in downtown Walnut Creek. It has its own small lot and is connected to a plaza with more parking. If it gets crowded, you can park at the park garage less than a block away that offers free parking for the first 3 hours. Will continue to come back and recommend this gem!“

“I have greatly enjoyed every time I've eaten here. The stuff is incredibly quick and attentive, whether I've chosen to eat or order out. When I do choose to eat in, I've always enjoyed the atmosphere that seems to accommodate all types. “Incredible! This place is truly a gem. Very clean, organized, and lots of products to choose from. I decided to dine-in and try the Beet soup which is perfect for a cloudy day. The flavor is incredible! A huge thank you to the customer service associates that helped me navigate through the store and find the Polish Products that I was looking for. “Just picked up my chicken soup this afternoon,my granddaughter wanted to go to the park,I ordered it over the phone and they said 10 minutes but we stayed at the park for. 45 minutes the soup and croissant was still hot not warm but hot my granddaughter loved the bread man lol“

“My wife and I went to Pizza Twist, Hercules with a friend who is gluten intolerant. We were delighted to have ordered two Gluten Free Pizzas (Cauliflower crust). One was Veggie Tandoori Paneer Pizza Twist and the other one was Chicken Tikka Masala. These were the most delicious pizzas we had in a long time. The new owners were very friendly. Superb service - Pizzas was made quickly.Will come back again.“

“I'm a proud torta snob and my BF and I have been on the hunt for a good one for ~6/7 years. On a whim we found this pace and love their tortas so much we don't order anything else for fear of missing the torta experience too much. We get the carne asada specifically and it's perfection. The bread is soft but slightly grilled so there's a nice crunch. The meat is ALWAYS cooked well, sliced thin, and flavorful. The veggies are fresh and the pickled jalapeño adds a kick. The bonus is the homemade chips with the salsa - just so good. I've eaten at least 7 of them and the quality and taste is consistent. I think it's the bread, honestly, that takes this next level. I wish I could buy their bread in bulk. Also, we've eaten in the restaurant only twice and the main woman who runs the show is the nicest person with the biggest smile. She is lovely. The whole staff is great and always smiling when I see them, too. Overall just a great place with tasty tortas (and I'm sure great food in general) and kind people.“

“The shop is very quaint and has a wide variety of baked goods + farmer's market quality condiments. This is a Berkeley staple! The apple cider was very tasty and warm. It seemed like they poured it from a premade container that was sourced from a local farm and then warmed it up. Both baked goods were fantastic and baked fresh that morning. The Rosemary puff is lovingly described by my friend as a "savory donut" - and for good reason! It has a sourdough base that is both fragrant and flavorful, but not overpowering. It has the perfect amount of sea salt seasoning and rosemary flavor, and just enough oil to make it soft and slightly juicy in the best way possible. It tastes great on its own or with one of the sauces sold at the collective! The pear ginger muffin was also very yummy and fresh with a distinctly citrusy flavor. It was fluffy and not too sweet. 10/10 experience!“

“I needed a Caterer for my mothers memorial service. The one my mom had chosen went out of business. It was back to the drawing board when timing was tight. I looked on line, and chose three Caterer's to inquire. When Brittany responded, I knew I needed to look no further. She came back quickly with a proposal that included a sample menu, floral arrangements, and service. Communication was quick, concise and flexible as details on attendance, food allergies and preferences emerged. The day of the event, her team were on time, quietly arranging and decorating tables, preparing the food, bar and service area. The staff were friendly, and professional! The food was prepared on site, fresh, beautifully displayed, delicious and plentiful. The clean up was immaculate. "Like it never even happened." Brittany took a huge load of of my family's shoulders that day so that I could focus on the service, and our guests. It was a pleasure to work with Brittany and her staff. Thank you Brittany!“

“5 stars are not enough for this bakery! A friend brought me two slices (princess and marzipan) as I had been getting inquiries about good wedding cake references. The flavor was delicious and they were beautiful. Let’s just say I am kind of a cake snob, so I am so excited to have found a new favorite bakery! They were excellent and fresh, even though I didn’t get a chance to eat them the night she brought them. I will be ordering my next celebratory cake from Le Gateau Elegant!“

“5 stars! I love this location. They have also been so great especially when it comes with delivery. I live a few blocks away and they deliver at a timely matter. The other day, there was an app glitch. Apparently my pizza (which I always order the same every time) had the wrong added topping. I called and they fixed it right away. Either way, if you are planning on having a kids or gathering party at the franchise, it is a MUST! The staff is kind and the managers are great and they all car! Also if you order delivery, I suggest to tip the driver separately, especially since they are delivering for you! Don't miss out and come have their pizza!“

“Come to the Bay Area to visit family a few time per year and stop at Zachary’s every time. The stuffed spinach & mushroom is one of my favorite foods anywhere. The original spot on College Ave or the in Pleasant Hill are I make my stops but sure the others are just as good.“

“This place is a gem their croissants are so good. Ive also tried their baguettes and some other pastries they are also really good. Their parking situation is not the best, meter parking by park smart inc. which is a shady company. You will get ticketed even if you paid. I got ticketed with minutes left on the meter and the disputing process is impossible. It's sad this parking company makes it so hard to support local businesses.“

“If you like tuna then try the house salad, the “black and white” dish and the “barbecue albacore” with the two sauces (3 or 5 piece) but I always get five! You will love those ;) The “pimp my roll” and the “garlic edamame” is to die for too. Mixed tempura is so yummy. The hot green tea is served in a tea pot and it is perfect. Comfort food! Now that I’m writing this review all I can think about is needing Mikunis later ;-)Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available!Parking: On a Friday or Saturday night be patient for parking. You can find a spot if you’re not in a hurry.Kid-friendliness: More of an adult atmosphere but most definitely kid friendly place with a great kids menu! I always see a few families dining here. Patio is very nice too.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but not a lot of space for a wheelchair if you ask me. It may take a little maneuvering inside the restaurant.“

“This place is great. Personally, I like my cooking, I find it hard to go out for enchiladas in particular. I tried theirs with red sauce and are excellent. I ordered extra sauce on the side. Pricing is good, quality us good. I love the remodeled patio. Try it yourselves. I do not think you will be sorry.“

“I can't say enough about how wonderful they are at Love at First Bite! I go there every year for birthday cakes for my kids! The cakes are delicious and they do a great job. For a few years during the pandemic, they weren't doing customized cakes but now they are doing it again - and the work is beautiful! I am so happy with how the cake for my daughter's 8th birthday turned out - beautiful and so yummy!“

I looked around and decided to go for the Won Thai restaurant, ordered the lunch special, fried catfish with rice, on the plate I got a colorful plate with a scoop of steam rice next to pan fried filet of catfish with plenty of green beans, fresh tomato pieces, sautéed on a lite curry sauce and sliced purple and green cabbage garnish.“

“I'm not a huge sweets fan but so I generally opt for their mini cupcakes and they're pretty good! My favorite has to be their key lime pie one, its the perfect mix of tart and sweetness and it's a must try! They also have a lot of other really great flavors as well and they're pretty inclusive with vegan and gluten free options! The storefront itself is quite simple and there's not really any space for you to sit down and enjoy the cupcakes so it's more of a to go thing! The cupcakes can get a little pricey so definitely more of a one in a while treat!“

“Very nice cocktails to start and the food was overall excellent. We had the amazing Brussels sprouts, the sliders and from the daily menu the stuffed lettuce leaves. The sprouts are the best we've ever had. The lettuce leaves had a slight sprite hit but not bad. The sliders were okay just missing something to take them over the top. Will certainly come back.“
