“This is one of my favorite places to go! The wine selection is wonderful and the staff is knowledgeable about the wines. The food is incredible. We always got the bruschetta with burrata and it's great. The balsamic reduction drizzled on the top with pesto and tomatoes is just lovely. We recently tried the smoke, whipped feta. We had a hard time not finishing the whole thing, it was that good! I've taken so many friends here. My company has get togethers here from time to time. At this point this place is just part of my culture. Camp 4 has been in Modesto for a while and we are lucky to have it!”

“Looked at this place a few times and my husband and I finally stopped by today. Taylor is super sweet and attentive. I appreciated her suggestions as they no longer carry the beyond burger. Most places don't care and will let you look at the menu or leave but she came back by and let me know everything they could make vegetarian and how the could accommodate me. Super kind of her and it let us know how much she cared. We stayed and the food was great. Another great place to add to our lunch dates. Everything was cooked to order. Great ingredients and produce was fresh. It wasn't loud and the temp inside was cool for it being hot outside. My husband enjoyed his burger it was cooked perfectly and he said the bacon was great...crispy not whimpy and not burnt it was just right. My soda was fizzy and it was clean inside. I had a wonderful grilled cheese with all the produce. The tomatoes were delicious you could tell they would go great on their BLT.Thank you Taylor!!!”

“I haven’t been to a sizzlers in ages yet I always forget how great the salad bar is, on my recent visit I was greeted by this lovely lady named Kimberly she’s super sweet.I had the chance of trying out their New York Steak & Fries. WOW let me tell you I haven’t had such a perfectly cooked New York in a while it was so juicy and tender + the fries complimented it to perfection.On top of that my waiter Eddie made our families dinner amazing, charming guy super funny. “Make sure to get some baklava with your order -- it's excellent! The burgers are large and delicious, the standard fry order is large enough to split, and the fish & chips are pleasant. If you phone in an order and live within a couple miles, you can head right over and it'll usually be ready when you get there. This is a better restaurant for takeout than dine-in, as eating space is small and basic -- though there are outside tables as well. Staff are always very nice and orders are accurate.”

“Decided to check out this spot based on the positive reviews and they were all correct. The employee who greeted us was so kind! She went over the entire menu and explained everything to us. My favorite thing was the access to past holiday menus. I was able to get a delicious iced pumpkin latte in April and my husband ordered a hot white chocolate covered strawberry latte. They also had the cutest items like pens, earrings and post it notes that were all coffee themed. Would absolutely return!”

“My husband and/or sister come to the Fruit Yard restaurant often, so thought I’d post about a few of our favorite menu items.If you go on Mondays, you can’t go wrong with their Homemade Corned Beef and Cabbage… the spices are perfect and so are the portions. Wednesdays they have their prime rib on special… very tasty. And every day of the week, (if you’re a person of a certain age?), you can order off their Senior menu… I find the portions to be just right, and you can’t beat the price ($12-15 for most items). Add a trip to their Salad Bar (which in my opinion is the best around) to any entree for $6… and you’ve got a spectacular meal, without breaking the bank.”

“Ambiance: Love this little hole in the wall. It isn't the most spacious restaurant, but the atmosphere is cozy. I love how the lighting is slightly dim. Food: For appetizers I get the spicy edamame if it's just me. If I'm out with company, I'll order spicy edamame and either combo tempura or the takoyaki. Entrees: I love getting either the tonkatsu ramen or pork Katsu curry, along with two sushi rolls. I typically order the King Kong roll or the rainbow roll. But honestly, I have never ordered something and not liked it. Pricing: In my opinion; slightly higher prices for the valley, but still affordable for sushi, seafood, etc. But if it goes up any higher then (in my opinion) it would not be worth it. And I say this, as I've had higher quality fish for around the same price. Service is nice. Although, at times it can be a little chaotic. There was one instance in which the waiter somehow messed up our reservation. Which led to us being seated about an hour from closing, and so the staff was rushing us. Overall I nice little gem. One of my favorite sushi spots in Modesto.”

“Went here for my birthday lunch a couple months ago and had Bruschetta, crab cakes, and chicken parm with fettuccine alfredo. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the 209. Their food is always hot, fresh, and super flavorful! I can't come here without getting the Bruschetta and chicken parm. They also have a very tentative and freidnly staff. Truly a hidden gem of Modesto. 10/10!”

“We love coming here! We came in today and had Christian as our waiter. He did an awesome job, and he very polite and respectful. We started off with the espresso martini and a Long Island iced tea, 10/10. For appetizers we got the flaming cheese with pita (so good) 10/10. We also tried the crab cakes today. They were not my favorite, had a bit of a fishy taste. Next we had a Greek salad 10/10 and the lemon chicken soup 10/10 (my favorite). We then got the fresh fish brochette w/ veggies and rice pilaf. This was delicious!! 10/10. I got the chicken Marsala w/ rice pilaf and veggies. The rice pilaf and veggies were very good tasting but I did not like the chicken Marsala sauce. Overall, food was amazing I usually order the pastas and they are great too!! 10/10 environment, service, and food!”

“I have to say and all my years of coming to Olive Garden I have never had so much fun as I have today. I came with my eight-year-old niece to celebrate our date day and my grandson’s birthday who lives in Colorado. Since he was not here and I came out to have a celebration together. Well, in the midst of having this celebration, we met Dave the bartender, Eddie , the waiter and another great waiter. Dave was a hoot. He made pictures of us and showed us all of his awesome Garfield pictures and told us some really corny jokes that made us laugh and laugh and laugh. ? Eddie also affectionately known as Lalo was a great server and attended to all of our needs and made sure we were happy and well taken care of. And Anna, what a ray of sunshine, brought our food out as fast as a flash with the help of the kitchen….thank you kitchen staff! ? The food was absolutely delicious… As always, the salad was fresh and nicely cold and crispy! My eggplant was HOT and nice and crispy and the gluten-free pasta OMG ? to die for! If you need to eat gluten-free pasta, this is the best I’ve ever had. Thank you, Olive Garden team for making my day a special and memorable one with my niece. Now, onto the food – where do I even begin? Let's start with the wagyu burger; it was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, with each bite bursting with deliciousness. The ribeye was simply divine, cooked exactly to our liking and melting in our mouths with each savory bite. The pasta was a delightful combination of perfectly cooked pasta and a rich, creamy sauce that left us wanting more. And let's not forget about the butter cake – it was the perfect ending to our meal, with its crisp outer layer, the buttery goodness left us in dessert heaven. Our meal was Hot upon arrival, including delicious appetizers that included bruschetta and jumbo shrimp in a fresh tomato sauce base with some spicy touches.?️ aka Gamberetti di Aglio The owner Heime stepped out of his kitchen and welcomed us to his Modesto restaurant and was genuinely engaging...so unusual for a chef of this level! Our loyalty was secure at his "welcome" to my Modesto restaurant. My choice was the sole with fresh crab as part of the entree...with a delicious reduction sauce and perfectly sautéed vegs! My guests had the Papperdelle with tastes of short ribs and HOME MADE PASTA! Sauces were amazing! culinary talent - extraordinaire! Add A bottle of Pinot Noir and we were very happy.. But the best was yet to come! Dessert: Lemon infused cake with raspberry drizzle AND tiramisu I was proud I selected Veronas to treat my guests to! ?? I cant say enough about the attentive and subtle service! A great staff, great food and great Owner! I feel the people preparing the food here actually care about the quality they put out to the dining room. Every aspect of the ramen was taken into consideration and it showed. I had the tonkotsu ramen with black garlic and cha shu, and it was absolutely amazing. The pork was roasted and seasoned well, the egg was properly marinated and the broth was deep and rich with flavor. I was so full but still wanted to finish what little I had left. I got helped by someone named Jenna and I just have to say she was the sweetest person I’ve ever met. She made me feel welcomed and made sure my time there was great. Right away she had the idea of making me a cold brew shake with the salted caramel pretzel flavor yogurt, and oh my goodness it was amazing, she gave me everything I needed. Her customer service was incredible. Her friendliness and compassion towards not only me, but other customers was felt. Not only was she able to provide me with an amazing shake., she also provided me with an even more amazing experience and I will definitely be going back!”

I was telling my youngest daughter about it just last week, then lo and behold....we run in to an Orange Julius at the mall! She had never tried it before so I was excited to have her try it for the first time. She didn't understand all of the hype until she took her first, long sip of pure joy. Her face lit up light Christmas morning. What an experience! The original flavor is just like I remember. The price, however, has gone up significantly. $7 for a medium size drink, but it was totally worth it.”

Our party host was great, an absolute sweatheart keeping the kids entertained while we were there.The only downside is that you pay before the party and it asks for tip before you've even had the party so I opted out. They came in to ask me if I needed refunding of anyone who may not have shown up but nothing about tips. I recommend bringing cash for the sake of tipping after the party, that man *more* than earned it!Also if you're bringing decorations: they don't allow you to tape or pin up anything, but you can bring helium ballons and they have knob kinda things on the room divider walls to wrap the ends of a banner to! Also, candles: they say you CAN bring your candles for blowing out. I learned from experience that the trick reigniting candles, while great for photo ops if you have eager candle blowers, are not-so-great for indoors as they do put off aloooot of smoke. We quickley opened the doors so we wouldn't set a smoke alarm off ?Great time, good fun, and great memories made!”

Wednesdays they have their prime rib on special… very tasty. And every day of the week, (if you’re a person of a certain age?), you can order off their Senior menu… I find the portions to be just right, and you can’t beat the price ($12-15 for most items). Add a trip to their Salad Bar (which in my opinion is the best around) to any entree for $6… and you’ve got a spectacular meal, without breaking the bank.”
