“Got to make my first visit here a couple weeks ago. What a fabulous little spot. It’s tucked in a quiet spot at the edge of the downtown area. The venue and the staff are so inviting and welcoming. We had a rather large group, and the owner was quick to help pull tables together and get us taken care of. I love seeing a staff that pays attention to details. We felt so well cared for!As for pizza, I shared a Detroit style and had a glass of rose. I wish the aioli had been on the side, but no big complaints. When some of my friends got their thin-crust, tavern-style pizza, I got jealous. It all looked and tasted so great!I’ll definitely be back!“
“Came in on a rainy Thursday morning, there was no wait. They took my order quickly, and the restaurant was decently filled up inside. They have a covered outdoor area with heaters, to help with cold and rain. My fave breakfast dish so far is the chile verde benedicto! Also recommend grabbing a pan dulce or pastry to enjoy with your coffee. Ambiance is homey, rustic and charming. Parking can be a bit challenging. Highly recommend!“
“Just missed the food because kitchen closed but menu looks amazing and I wish I had chance to try it . Drinks top notch , I don’t see how you can be disappointed. We went with Negroni and Tres Pasos and it was world class . Thank youCould not leave without trying another drink , Oxacacalifornia Love (pic attached )“
“My wife and I went here for a late afternoon tasting. We really enjoyed this place as it has a very old world Spanish feel to it. The gardens are stunning, and if you book ahead of time, and can do your tasting in the family home, it is well worth it. This venue have a 90 year old sequoia tree, beautiful flowering gardens, a well rounded veggie garden, beautiful fountains, and birds that are constantly chirping/singing. My wife and I did the cheese and wine tasting, but I know this venue also has a garden meal & tasting, which from looking around at our fellow wine goers, also looked very tasty. Great Experience, especially if you are an outdoor lover.“
“I’m here in Napa celebrating my birthday and had a tasting booked, the week before my tasting I got a call and Stephanie apologized that they’d be closed for renovations but would reach out to a neighboring tasting room to see if they would hold our tasting which we agreed. We then heard from Scott who let us know the details of our tasting location right across the street. Upon arrival at Gambling McDuck Scott greeted us and our tasting began just before Erin stopped by our table to introduce herself as well. As a bubbles person the tasting did not disappoint as we told Scott we’d let him take the reigns of choosing our flight not only was the champagne amazing with getting to try a new champagne but I can’t say enough about how great Scott was we felt like we were just talking to an old friend while the next time I come to Napa I’ll try some different experiences I’ll definitely be back for BeBubbly!!“
“Best Mexican food truck in Napa if you’re asking me.Wheelchair accessibility: The food truck is parked next to an auto shop. The driveway is more like a dirt road but the fort is compact enough for a wheelchair to access the truck, order and eat on the premises.“
“This is my favorite spot for a burger and beer. The food is original and selections outside of the burgers are great too. I could live off the green pepper cheese burger with garlic / sweet potato fries (if I'm feelin froggy then both)“
“First time to Fume'.. my father had the rosemary chicken and Cesar Salad. He said it was quite good. I had the beet salad.. it was terrific. Make sure to order the bread, its out of this world. Service was excellent, Ambiance was good. Can't wait to sit outside, looks quite nice but too cold today. Over all great experience!“
“This is a small place. I personally think exactly what you expect. Food is good. Margaritas, though a premix, sneakily strong, sweet but good. Server was super sweet, professional and accommodating. Family type atmosphere. Nothing gourmet but I’d definitely go back.“
“My fiance and I were planning an overnight trip to Napa with our pet. I had initially planned to check out specific dog-friendly wineries, but we took our time leaving from the South Bay to Napa and didn't allot enough time to check those places out. Instead, I took a chance at looking into wineries by our hotel and hoped for the best. I did a google search of the area and found that RD Winery was a quick 4 minute drive from our hotel. A huge plus was that the winery was also one of the first stops off the main highway, so we didn't have to drive an extra 30 minutes for more popular spots. I was incredibly pleased with our time at RD Winery, and it ended up being the only winery we visited during our entire afternoon! We arrived at RD Winery around 4pm on a Saturday. The place wasn't busy at all, and we were informed that we had just missed a rush of people. This worked out to our favor, because it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. They were also very dog-friendly, and it was nice that my dog got plenty of space to roam while on leash. I did the chocolate and wine tasting, which I would HIGHLY recommend. It was such a sensory experience. I went home with a few wines because of their unique compositions. i.e. the reisling (sweet and citric), sauvignon blanc (crisp apple), veltliner (bitter tones), and zinfandel (spiciness?). I really understood the Vietnamese influences. The chocolates from Socola, a chocolatier by two Vietnamese sisters from SF, were amazing in their own right. The pho, durian, and guava chocolates were out of this world. The pho truffle was spot on with its brothy flavor. The durian white chocolate was fire, and I don't even like durian. The pâte de fruit of the guava truffle was juicy and flavorful.Lastly, the customer service and hospitality at RD Winery were exceptional. There were 4 employees during the time we were there, and they were all friendly and interactive. The staff member who walked us through our tasting was so professional and really flexed her knowledge about the wines and chocolates.“
“Absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious, service was spot on from the support staff to our server. Even though he had only been there for a couple of weeks, Kyle did a great job.Make sure you get the Empanada flight... Forgot to snap pic but they were awesome.“
“Leo was our server. He was by far, the best, most easy going server we've had after coming here so many times the past year. The food was good. I still think hands down one of the best pork chops I've ever had, it was moist and delicious. If you crave something salty and sweet (the fruitetta sauce), do you taste buds a favor and get the pork chop plate. The potatoes were so crispy. My boyfriend ordered the gnocchi, and that's his go-to dish. We went around 3pm so the place was pretty empty, but from past experiences it gets really busy so reservation is a must.“
“One of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had! I could have eaten 4 eggs benedicts and the orange cinnamon roll was gone instantly. Great food, atmosphere and efficient service. I’d recommend getting there a few minutes before they open, line was out the door shortly after.“
“For over 7 years I've been enjoying Prime Solum wines. They have a huge vineyard ranch in Napa on the west facing “Silverado Bench" with excellent Cabernet, Pinot and Petite Verdot known as Brokenrock terror. It's beyond excellent vine. Bill Hill, the proprietor and wine master has been in Napa since the early 1970's. They also source excellent wines in the Russian River and Anderson Valley areas. I especially like their Pinots from these areas, yet the Brokenrock Cabernet's are a favoriate. We enjoy their Tasting Barn on Atlas Peak Road at Monticeilo Rd. It’s a great way to try a variety of their premium wines in a very comfortable setting just a few miles north is their Brokenrock Ranch. You feel like you're in Napa of the 80's where the focus is on wine tasting, and not a commercial, retail setting like too many tasting rooms in Napa Valley today.I highly recommend you add a stop to their Tasting Barn when in Napa for truly fine wines.“
“Stuffed fresh toast was good, not overly sweet. Waffles and chicken was fair.. waffle was great, chicken wasn't my favorite. The meat was juicy but the crust was seasoned with rosemary (I think) and it was too much for breakfast in my opinion. The bacon was good, coffee was great and cute dishes.. all random and thought I was special by getting the Jesus mug!Parking: We were able to park curbside across the street but noticed a parking garage across the way.“
“The line is worth it! This place did not disappoint. We got the white mochas and tried the original breakfast sandwich, the chocolate crossiant, the blueberry muffin, and the raspberry croissant. Everything was delicious but the English muffin that the breakfast sandwich is made on is like no English muffin you've ever had. They are so good“
“We took a group of about 20 to Vinoce a couple days ago, and I can’t only say that everyone should make the trip. Tim and Raymond were excellent hosts - taking the time to make the experience excellent for all, and the wines were delightful. A few in our group joined the club, and most everyone found something they wanted to take home. Can’t wait for the return visit.“
“Had the best time at this winery. The location is beautiful and the service was amazing. All the tastings were great to me. Felt like they went above and beyond for all customers. I would visit again! - Beautiful venue - Ambiance - Modern - Outdoor space - Ambiance“
“Cozy neighborhood spot for us locals. Ok visitors too! Unassuming, tried and true with just the right combination of fresh greens and pub fare with a twist. Great selection of beers. The outdoor patio is so nice on sunny days. Friendly and attentive staff.Kid-friendliness: This is where local families gather.“
“Had a great time talking to the owner, AJ and learning about the boutique wineries he represents. Also so nice to be able to taste delicious wines while walking about downtown Napa! Loved the location right next to Oxbow Public market and The Model Bakery! We joined the club so we could gain access to their wines. Well done!“
“Thank you Clos du Val for making my birthday celebration in Napa spectacular! Our family traveled from TX, CA and Maine for my birthday and it was Special in every way from the great wines, amazing goat cheese & hummus dip to the beautiful hills & vineyards in the background. Nikko was our wine sommelier and he was terrific loved the winery history of Clos du Val! Couldn’t have chosen a better winery for a special occasion with our family.P.S. Thank you Nikko for our family pictures they came out beautiful!!“
“Was visiting downtown Napa during the Christmas Holiday season. They were having their annual Wanderland of Trees contest for the downtown businesses. As I was passing by Alpha Omega, I noticed their beautifully decorated Christmas tree sparkling in the afternoon sunlight. I was hoping they were entered in the contest, but unfortunately, they were not. I felt that I still wanted to give them and the decorator, Leslie Garcia, a special shout out for the magnificently decorated Christmas tree! Stunning!“
“Unfortunately, I made the mistake of booking Fontenella as our first tasting and I immediately knew the rest of the day was going to be down hill from there! They definitely set the bar and they set it high! This was hands down one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. It was fun, inviting, and educational. It felt very exclusive since there was only one other party there. Dustin, Karen, and Marianne were the epitome of hospitable. I look forward to visiting again!“
“We really love this place. Service is excellent and the small plates are perfect. The corn is truly delicious. We've had it twice and the first time the corn slivers were completely coated in sauce. Second time, only a little. I hope they are consistent with completely coating each piece. Sliced steak is great. Those totchos are WOW. Get them if you like food. I appreciate that you can get well mixed cocktails and higher end booze that you don't commonly see. I will mention again that the service is excellent. It deserves a double mention.“
“The best drinks, whether you want hot, cold, or blended coffee drinks Dutch bros. Is the best option. They have so many options when it comes to choosing your drink. The prices are good and the large was a lot bigger than I expected. They have mire than coffee too. All around thumbs up.“
“Napastak in Napa Valley is a wonderful shop filled with gourmet goodies and local delights. From fine wines and specialty foods to unique gifts and kitchenware, it's a treasure trove for anyone who loves food and wine. With its charming atmosphere and carefully curated selection, Napastak is the perfect place to find something special to take home from your Napa Valley adventure.“
“One of the most beautiful resorts. The hotel is located in one of the most breathtaking locations. All the staff were so wonderful. The spa is exquisite and the so is the staff. It’s a great place to get a European custom facial from biologique recherche, you should try it. Loved everything about this place ?“
“My boyfriend and I came to this winery today. Our first time in Napa and our first winery in Napa. We couldn’t have been more delighted. Such a kind and humble staff. With excellent wine and a beautiful setting. We learned so much and truly enjoyed ourselves. Please give them a try!“
“We loved this winery! The white wines were a really nice change of pace, we especially enjoyed the crèmant. The architecture really stood out and was something fun and different after seeing a few of the typical Napa wineries (plus all the windows and yellow made it feel sunny on a rainy day!). But what really stole the show for us was the food - we did the lunch pairing and it was by far the best meal we had in Napa. Our server was extremely friendly, and attentive, while kept things fun and exciting!“
“Out in Napa for 4 days and I went here 3 nights straight for a 220 volt hazy ipa. Conveniently across the street from oxbow market, gotts (fast casual American), and next to a great Italian/pizza place. 2 minute walk from downtown Napa which has at least 2 public parking garages. Also parking in oxbow lots. Free water which is self serve. Clean. Great beer and atmosphere. 220 volt hazy ipa is great, they also have a lot of other beer types. Hefeweizen was also very good if you like that type of brew. Seemed to be a welcoming local joint between bartender and crowd. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great at sunset.Bottom line: if you like good beer and are in Napa, it is 100% worth checking out.“
“If you ever visit Napa please stop at the MaCo Vinery. We had amazing time. Its a yung vinery but wine is very very good. Hospitality is for 10 stars not 5 , we felt welcome from the first minute we steped inAlvaro open, not just a winery door for us, he opened his heart to a crazy Serbian wine lovers. We will be back for sure .Boban. Marina, Dragane, Rade, Milan i Dajana.“
“Forget that Napa is known for its wine for one day. Take a break from the never ending wine tasting and have a craft beer -- you know you want it. Great selection of beers and expert advice at Fieldwork. I had a Belgian style beer (Hannah, 8.6%) generously poured. If they had served Belgian fries with mayonnaise, I'd have to sell my house and move nearby.“
“We had a really nice time yesterday afternoon. Greg did our wine tasting and was very knowledgeable. Nice relaxed environment & he took his time explaining each wine ?. The tour was nice & informative as well. Would come back again & and recommend to others ?.“
“WOW absolutely delicious. the truck came into benicia to a local brewery, so we swung by for some tacos and a drink. the asada street tacos were exactly the street tacos you wanted. light, full of flavor, delicious tortillas. the red salsa was perfectly spicy, and the green had great flavor! and then the birria tacos. don't even get me started! they were phenomenal. a plate of 3 with a large side of sauce. so much cheese deliciousness, you can't come here without the getting birria! hopefully they come back to benicia so I can get more“
“Such a great place to stumble in! Our wine educator, Cassidy, was amazing! They have amazing service and good conversation. Cassidy is so knowledgeable and is great at her job! The atmosphere was warm and energetic! Also, Nate was equally helpful and friendly! 10/10“
“We enjoyed the relaxed, at home, cozy feeling at WALT Wines. We could take our time tasting each wine as they were pre-served in little jars each. The staff was knowledgeable, kind and passionate. We also liked the convenient location of grabbing lunch at Oxbow and walking across the street to our tasting. Highly recommend!“
“Overall 8/10The food is 9/10 and my favorite is the pork Banh Mi Sando. Another highlight is the truffle fries, make sure to request their ketchup which I think is freshly made. Their chicken offerings are also good.Ambiance it’s a literal hole in the wall with outdoor seating. Takeout and eat on the tables nearby.More food stuff @vin.foodjournal“
“Wonderful place, cabs were fantastic. Everyone was welcoming to us and our dog while we relaxed in their nice outdoor space. We joined their wine club because we enjoyed the wine and the experience and later on they sent us a nice card mentioning our dog by name. Really thoughtful of them and I think represents the high level of service they provide.“
“Perfect pupusas and slaw. One of my favorite places for a delicious, affordable meal. Made to order so be patient:) usually found on Soscol in front of Umpqua Bank or at the Napa Farmers market. This truck is run by locals who work hard to give a quality product at a fair price.“
“Went to Napa impromptu and hubby found this little gem! We went during happy hour and sat at the bar. Our bartender Ashley was super nice and can pour a drink! The ambiance was very sleek, contemporary, and modern. It was very beautiful. Now let’s get to the fun part! We ordered Mac n’cheese, calamari & veggies, chicken kebab wrap, branzino, and the lamb plate. Let me just say that each dish was prepared beautifully. But, the flavors, oh my God, THE FLAVORS! The calamari was lightly battered and fried to perfection. No oily taste or residue. Came with a beautiful spicy aioli. The Mac and cheese…whew they are using some aged cheddar, Gouda, and Parmesan for real! Creamy and tasty! The chicken wrap pita was soft and sweet while the chicken was perfectly grilled and seasoned plus the Greek potatoes were bomb! The lamb plate was the least fav but still very delicious. But, honey that branzino was cooked to perfection in a light lemon butter sauce with the most flavorful cauliflower, carrots, and Brussel sprouts yummy!Ashley asked if we wanted dessert and I couldn’t resist. We ordered the chocolate baklava with vanilla bean gelato and DAMN, PERFECTION!It was an amazing dining experience! I never eat leftovers the next day and I ate these and it was just as good the next day! Put this on your list of restaurants to go to in Napa!Definite recommend!“
“A beautiful bakery in the midst of Napa. The bakery goods are delicious and the coffee was really yum. Also, my friend had her birthday cake from this bakery and it was moist and perfect. But the best was their Kouign-amann. The best I have had in the Bay area.“
“My friends and I had such a lovely experience here! The wine tasting area is tucked away amongst the barrels and decorated lovingly with pictures of the Herrera family. Andrea and Ronaldo Jr are so hospitable and fun, and really made us wine newbies feel comfortable! We learned so much about the wine making process and the family and can tell how detail oriented they are throughout all of their business, which sets them apart amongst the hundreds in Napa. You just won’t receive this level of service in many places nowadays! We were able to taste wine right out of one of their barrels and compare to the wines they had poured for us. I thoroughly enjoyed their Pinot noir and the price point is fair given they are a small business and focus on quality. They also sell candles, which are also named after family members, in their empty bottles of wine exclusively on site. They smell so amazing, my friend bought 4! Thank you all for curating such a wonderful experience for us!“
“Wow. This is the BEST bread! We only get it here in Calistoga 4 days a week, but I would love to have it ALL the time. Perfect crisp crust. Medium soft interior. Tasty sour dough umami. I just Love this bread. More than any other around, including Acme (my 2nd favorite) or Model. Just Grrrreat!“
“Thank you for an amazing evening! Service was top notch! Even though it was a little bit windy, we enjoyed our outdoor table, the view, and all the great and detail explanation of each wine we had. Thank you for a great 2023 closure :)All the best for 2024 and we will back for sure!“
“5-star café de olla! Was still craving café de olla after being on vacation in Mexico, and Lucas' definitely hit the spot! Its a bit sweeter than I have had previously, but the spices were authentic and delicious. I will be back to try their food (and bring a thermos to fill up on café de olla)“
“We stopped by Feast It Forward for a bottle of wine to enjoy. This was my first time here and I was really happy with the way this spot designed its interior and exterior area. This spot instantly gave me a warm and cozy vibe.Service was friendly. The worker gave us some recommendations to choose from and also told us which ones were sold out. We ended up choosing the 2020 B. Wise Trios Cabernet Sauvignon and was not disappointed! Amazing wine, amazing company, amazing service, and amazing interior/exterior designs… what more can you ask for?“
“Great BBQ! It's a diner in the bowling alley, you have to order at the counter, but that's not a problem for us. I'm not sure why they aren't spotlighting their BBQ but it was delicious. Several of us had the sliders and with the coleslaw on top and extra BBQ sauce, they were amazing. My husband had the 3 meat plate and it was a nice sized portion for a big eater. Seemed reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Go try it!“
“I have been here a couple of times. I live the place. I'm vegetarian and they have 3 different veggie tacos. I live the mushroom taco. It's a simple place have have a nice setting are outside too. They always have a few mexican beers that are niceI think this place is as good as the famous taco stands in San Diego.Reasonably priced tooVegetarian options: There are at least 3 veggie tacos. I love the mushrooms tacos. There are made from shitaki mushrooms“
“My first time at sunshine and it went very well! The workers were all extremely kind and friendly. We started off with our coffees which were great, not sure what brand they use but they brew it deliciously. The food came out in less than 10 and it was fantastic! I got two pancakes, scrambled eggs, and fruit and my step-dad got the Abe Lincoln, we had nothing but positive things to say about it and our experience as a whole. The place is a little hole in the wall but its very spacious and pretty inside! Recommend for sure :)“
“Having spent 4 days with the family in Napa to enjoy the fine dining and wine, I can honestly say this was the best dining experience we had. This is not only a restaurant but a farm to table experience. Before dinner we strolled the grounds and saw the gardens, chickens, and vineyards which supply the restaurant. The food was excellent and the attention to detail was evident in every dish. This was elevated dining and not just eating good food. The waitstaff were excellent and attentive but not intrusive. This place is a must for any visit to the Napa region. Plan to get there early to give yourself time to stroll the grounds.“
