The interior is comfortable and sunny, it's perfect for chatting with friends or doing work. it's the perfect spot for a sweet treat, 5/5 stars!“

Also, it may not be a big deal for others but I like how this place have PAPER- containers for their ala carte dishes/food. I dont like eating hot food with melted styrofoam. “I was recently introduced to Tiuron thanks to this bakery. I am not a banana fan at all. So I was very skeptical of if I would like it or not. But this is now one of my favorite treats. The outside is crispy and sweet. Normally I don't like super sweet desserts. Yes somehow the sweet sticky coating on the outside is good to me! The banana in the middle is soft and sweet but it balances out the sweetness on the outside. I also had the cheese puffs. These are similar to the cheese rolls that you'd find at Porto's. But they're bigger and taste just a little different in a good way. They are soft and creamy on the inside, but the outside dough is a balance of crispy and flaky. I can't wait to try additional treats from there!“

“My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“As someone who was raised exclusively on the art that is the Philly Pretzel I've felt deprived in Southern California. As time goes on it's grown harder to visit Philadelphia meaning more time between the brown paper bagged doughy goodness you'd buy from the guy on the center divider. Then came West coast Pretzels. These pretzels are it. Everything you love about a Philly pretzel in the sunshine of Los Angeles. I bought enough to barely last my family 18 hours. My Partner, who has only had the remnants of the Philly pretzels that made it from the outside of the airport back to LAX ate a couple bites and exclaimed that these were the best pretzels he's EVER had. This taste of "home" is so great to have available, closer than a full day of travel away. And the best part.... Unlike the Philly pretzel factory, these bad boys are vegan!“

“If I can give this place more than 5 stars I would. The food, and the people here are so incredibly special. Compared to other bakeries in the area, this is by far one of the best locations I have ever been to for pastries and coffee. This little gem has been serving the Valley for years, and has not received the credit it surely deserves. My family and myself have been coming here for years and they stay on point! Their pastries are made freshly and you can tell it is definitely made with care. Ms Vanessa and her team are amazing!!“

“Love it here but sad my wonka cookie didn't have W's :( and I got the party box. I love the staff here. This has to be my only complaint. I purchased the box on the release day. Wish the gold W was done on the cookies as they were marketed Willy Wonka cookies. That was the coolest part haha. “My Persian friend Neda came to visit and wants me to try Persian food. She found Vanak online and we are trying it for the first time. It's located in the El Pollo Loco shopping center. This place looks nice and clean, they got a A grade. It has a nice ambience. I'm sure it looks a lot better in the evening. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The parking was ok. Saied took our order and was very patient and helpful. He wore a great smile and eye contact is a plus We had tons of questions about the food. He explained all about the food so patiently. The price is a bit high but they have good portions. They have such great customer service which is such a plus.. They let us sample a freshly made dessert. Usually with the amount of questions my friend had they would have been annoyed already. They were in the middle of a very big order and still tended to our tiny order. I'll definitely recommend and will be back.“

“I had heard about Bread Bros. While back and decided to stop by yesterday! They are specialized in making best Persian bread and pastries! I bought BARBARI (بربری) bread (with Saffron) which I had never had before and it's beyond words! They have a special gift for first time buyers so I picked up roulette (رولت) with chocolate inside that I ate it all right away! The owner Mohsen is very kind and courteous and I highly recommend this place!“

Love the variety and the freshness of the bread. We have tried a few in the area and so far have come back here again and again. The owners/workers are friendly and will answer any questions you have. I do small talk at times and they've always engaged well. This place is definitely small. “I decided to eat here with my family for breakfast after the first day of Hanukkah and the owners communiciated with me that it will be around 35-45 minute wait for food due to high number of customers ordering on site and online. Sat outside but decided to walk inside to order latte's and bake goods meanwhile. Inside is DEVINE. It was full of customers waiting to buy the Chanukah donuts (seasonal only, I was told) and we ended up taking to our table all 14 flavors of delicious mouthful. and took another 12 special assorted flavors to go to gift to our family friend. Time went by quickly shared with my good company and inside this family-oriented environment. Everybody was working hard, and the food was worth the anticipation. My family and I walked out pleased and impressed by their quality. We will all be coming back in again.“

“Great selection of hopias! I am pleased to see freshly baked hopias with a variety of flavors. The yellow munggo and red bean caught my eyes and ordered both. I loved both flavors. Service was fast and friendly. They have a few Filipino dishes such as cebuchon, lechon kawali and sisig with rice. However I didn't get a chance to try it this time around but that is definitely something worth to come back for and try out. I recommend this place if you enjoy some freshly baked hopias!“

“Very friendly and helpful staff. The ice cream is great if a bit pricy but isn't everything nowadays? I'm not a fan of overly sweet ice cream. The coffee and peanut butter were great choices. I took the suggestion of peanut butter and chose coffee since it is one of my favorite flavors. The peanut butter wasn't too sweet and the flavor was strong without being overly so. The coffee was better with the sweet level since the bitterness helps cut it down.Parking: Street parking only, so you may have to park a distance away and walk to the store.“

“I am so happy I discovered this coffee shop in the valley!! Their Iced Mocha is the best I have had here in this area. It has the perfect balance between coffee and chocolate. It’s not too sweet yet not bitter. And not outrageously priced like other places. Absolutely delicious! It is now my “go to” place for coffee. I love that they are so warm and welcoming too! They also have baked goods that look delicious. But I haven’t tried them yet.“

“I am writing this review at 2:30 am after feeding my baby lol I don't want to forget to write this review because the donuts and service were that good. Was craving donuts and driving around for a while trying to find a decent clean donut spot around San Fernando/ Pacoima. The gentleman that helped us in the front was so friendly and inviting. The donuts were fluffy and delicious. It's rare when a donut shop leaves an impression but this one was it. Friendly service, delicious donuts and clean place.“

“Incredible experience from beginning to end : from the beautifully painted murals of Tuscany / a metal balcony to the beautiful smells of baking bread from their public facing ovens to the delicious foods from a very large menu: I recommend the potato chop /,it's deep fried potatoes surrounding meat that gives Porto's Potato ball a run for their money and is a delicious niche of this business: the massive and incredible breakfast sandwich which is so decadent in all the right ways : intense wonderful cheese and freshly sliced ham and the best bread: ( and this can easily be shared) the very complicated sauce that comes with the shakshuka is so multi layered that you want to eat it slowly in order to savor. The owner Joseph was incredible to talk to and provided nothing more than kindness and heart. We appreciate everything you do here and so happy to have discovered this spot : we felt welcomed like family.“

“I was told about this place by a friend. I called on a Sunday and Ashley answered. I told her that it would take me a little after 4 pm (which is the time they close) To get to them. Told her that it would About 5 to 10 minutes after closing. I asked what they still had available, which just happen to be my two favorite, Pushke, potato and cheese. At 4 o'clock Ashley was nice enough to call me to find out my ETA. When I got there, she already had everything ready for me and I couldn't resist, but to get a few extra items that just looked absolutely delicious, not only did the taste of the pet exceeded my expectations, but the service was absolutely amazing. Ashley was so kind and helpful that it's nice to know that Store and the people that work for them are still there to keep their customers happy. I definitely recommend you try this place . “Humble Bee is an excellent little breakfast spot where the food is always good. It can be a little busy at times (and very very loud), and the wait for food can sometimes take a while, but just on taste alone it's great. I've never left feeling unsatisfied. Unfortunately, the prices can feel a little exorbitant at times (over $4 for a cup of tea?) and the menu can be difficult to navigate. But if you're in the mood for a good breakfast and you're not afraid of spending some extra dosh, this restaurant is sure to please.“
