Turon Banana Rolls
Chicken Empanada

“The best turon (deep fried glazed banana egg rolls) in town. This place specializes in turon and Filipino empanadas. We always order dozens for any party we have. Paired with ice cream it is super delicious. I highly recommend this place. Don't buy turon from anywhere else. Also it is very cheap. But they do run out fast. So I suggest calling to place an order.“

“It's a decent place. I like several things off their menu, their pupusas are good, their Canoas and empanadas are very good. I always take my food to go since I live close and the place is very small with only like 4 tables. They always have music playing but since it's small the place it's always empty and most people that go also get their food to go. It's good if you want Salvadoran food to go“

“I've been here twice now... both times, the counter lady was incredibly nice. She made a fresh pot of coffee for me, and they have real Half & Half to put in it. Paired with a raised chocolate donut, I'm a very happy older lady!! Also very fluently bilingual, if that helps. There's a little counter where I can sit or stand, look out the window and write this, too. They get an A+ from me.“

CENTRO PANADERO Salvadoran •

“The pupusas are good, the pata soup is given to you without any nerve and pansa, just vegetables and soup that taste good, but that's why I won't buy the plantain empanadas again, they are terrible, I had to throw them away, they should improve the quesadillas if they are good and the pupusas.“

“We were in this plaza and decided to check out all the stores and we were so happy to have gone into this restaurant. The staff are super friendly and this place gets busy with a steady flow of people coming in. Fresh made food and super hearty. We got the chicken tamale, tamale de chiplin, Chile relleno, soup with fried chicken plate and it was all so good. The chile relleno was different than usual- it was filled with meat and chopped up veggies instead of cheese and the flavor was delicious. The fried chicken was super crispy (fried with no breading!) on the outside and tender inside - so yummy. The tamales were so good that we got 10 more Togo (5 chicken and 5 pork). No frills small restaurant with excellent service and great food. We definitely enjoyed this place and hope you give it a try!“

“I looooove red ribbon so much and come here waaaay too often. I'm a little upset at my friend for introducing it to me because, it's a little further of a drive than I'd like to take on a regular but, whenever I crave Jollibee, Red ribbon is the next stop. Always, always get the cheese ensaimada, it's so goood! I've never had home cooked ensaimada's so, I don't know how authentic it is but, it's so good here. I always get two. I love the mamon's too but, I'll usually skip those. The cakes in the cases look so tempting but, I limit myself on how many I get per visit I'm also really tempted to try the cakes in the display case but, they rarely sell the ones I want in slices and I don't wanna get a whole cake. Everything looks really good here and I'm also in the mood to try new things. My coworker who is Filipino, recommended the palabok fiesta from here cause it was the best and, she wasn't wrong! It was so good! I got the a la carte one cause I knew the family style would've been toooooo much but, I might have to in the future, it was so good. Not too salty, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. I will be back to red ribbon again and again“
