“This is my favorite It's Boba Time location! I've always had good experiences here. The staff are always on top of things, even when it gets very busy, and give good service. Plus, the boba is the best chain boba you can get. The store isn't too big, but it's well decorated and a nice place to hang out when it's not too crowded. Definitely recommend coming here!“

“This place is a hidden gem! It's conveniently located with plenty of street parking and a small parking lot. From the moment we walked up to the ordering/pickup window, a super friendly and helpful employee greeted us. He gave us awesome recommendations for their popular smoothies and toast. We couldn't wait to try the Pink Dragon and PB + Banana smoothies, and let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious! The cup size was just right, and we couldn't get enough of the Garden Toast with its flavorful feta and zesty lemon. They even have a seating area where we enjoyed our fantastic experience. We're already looking forward to going back!“

I went for the organic acai base sweetened with agave and matcha chia pudding, chocolate agave granola again sweetened by agave and then lots of blueberries, hempseeds, sunflower seeds and chocolate sugar-free topping. Exciting!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, just ask the staff, they are helpful. “I went here for breakfast, and it was delicious. We had the vegan breakfast burritos. The restaurant itself is really cute. Honestly a little hidden gem in Van Nuys. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Only downside is no public restroom but luckily we didn’t have to go.“

“I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“

“Love this location, A Brazilian skater named Felipe Gustavo owns this location, he has a bunch of skate boards hanging on the wall and typically has some skating events playing on the TV’s .Acai republic is a great place to get a delicious snack or meal. “Food: 4/5 how can you go wrong with an açaí bowl? The addicting sweet flavor and fruits to top it off is incredible! Portions are a little small, we are able to choose three flavors for the regular bowl, but the three flavors combined only filled up half way the bowl. You can choose as many fruit toppings as you like, but again I feel like portions are also small even though I choose all the fruits. The day we went, the vita came machine was down, so make sure to check before you go. Service: 5/5 service was great, staff were nice and friendly. Ambiance: 5/5 very clean“

“My first time trying Oakberry and was very impressed. The bowl is layered according to what you picked and the toppings are unlimited. I think the best way I found was to mix everything in the bowl before eating. I ordered whey protein added to the bowl and it's added in powder, so it's much better to mix it before eating. Delicious and thick acai bowl!“

“Good place to get some juices and açaí bowls. It has a few locations including this Silver Lake one on Sunset. Naturewell has a crap ton of healthy options. A good way to start off the morning or a good snack for later. The prices aren't that bad for this kind of thing. A few locations of this are around. It's got one in the Sunset Junction area with all the shops and everything. The bowls are the way to go. It's about $10 for an Açaí Bowl. This comes with bananas, berries, coconut, and granola. Basic toppings for a bowl. The other popular items include juices and smoothies. Also you can get a cup of fresh fruit. There's also snacks like protein bars and good stuff. Best place around here as far as the prices for açaí bowls. It's a pretty good portion. There's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.“

“I had a create your own bowl that includes 4 toppings. The bowl was a nice size, açaí flavor was good but the granola was too sweet for my taste. The service was good and there wasn't a line on a Saturday afternoon. The spot is chill and has seating inside and outside. Parking in the area is mostly metered.“

“WoW! Blown away by the quality of the Fruit Cocktails here! There are smoothies, there are fruit juices, had it all, but the fruit cocktails here are something else! I had a custom made one, half/half, don't remember the exact names, one was with the avocados, and the other one was with strawberries (and so so so much more), they are underneath each other on the menu (as of August 2018). The only thing I regret is that I ordered the 20oz (600ml) and not the 32oz! If you are in LA, you MUST go here. I haven't come across anything like that anywhere else yet!
