“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

Service is always friendly, and food is served up fast!I always get a solid breakfast here, and finally, someone who knows how to cook crisp hash browns! Just be sure to bring cash as they don't take cards, but they do have an ATM on-site in case you forget.“

“I found this spot and it's been my most recent favorite study spot around Northridge. Nice tables with plenty of outlets and a lot of natural lighting, and it's never busy! The food, however is pretty expensive for what you're getting. I got the PBH shake, but I had to sub the protein for vegan which costed extra. The shake was pretty good though tbh. Overall, I like the environment a lot but the items are slightly overpriced.“

“Came here for the first time in 4 years because my husband and I were craving something salty and sweet late at night. They have Taiwanese salty and sweet options which is why I love this place. It's not just a boba shop...they have egg waffles in many different flavors! I live in SDV and go SGV pretty often for Chinese food. So having this place close to home is really nice! “Most delicious french fry brand in the world!! There is nothing that tastes better than fries from Potato Corner. I love to mix two flavors when I order my fries, I get the Sour Cream and Barbeque mix with the straight fries. The powder mix is heavenly and I love how evenly distributed the fries are. You can see the powder mixing happening in action by the staff when you stand by the display case. You can also get some wings and get grub in that way too. The prices are affordable and I love how the fries are also piping hot from the moment they call out your order. Definitely pick and choose what time to order some fries from here, especially if you are on a rush or a time crunch. Unfortunately, there is a high chance that there'll be a long line of people waiting and your wait can end up being around 20 minutes. You can see the workers with high stress levels due to people getting visibly impatient. I see people complain but that honestly doesn't help anyone out. So for your own sanity, just be aware of the situation and expect to wait if you see many people lined up and/or waiting. If you do have time to spare, it's worth the wait.“

“Stopped in for Blizzards. One of the employees had a hurt arm. She powered thru our 4 orders. One was a banana split. Fast and awesome. Most people would have stayed home. Didn't get her name, but as a former restaurant manager, I wish all my employees had this attitude and work ethic. You all are lucky to have her. Didn't complain, and was a pleasure to see this. Won't embarrass her and take a pic....“
