“$37.46 for 2 bowls Clean, easy to follow menu with the servers asking along the way what you'd like as they build your bowl. They had a water dispenser and paper recyclable cups. The prices are fair and toppings are solid. I'd frequent this place if I was nearby.“

“I love this spot. The bbq chicken is so tender and has a nice crust from the marinade. The macaroni salad is super flavorful and I love a thinner teriyaki. It's not meant to be thick like American style teriyaki is. Kalua pork also yummy, has a bit of a bacon taste to it.“

“I usually go for the short ribs (which are phenomenal), but I thought I’d try the grilled garlic shrimp for a slightly healthier option. Unfortunately, like the other review said, it’s pretty nasty. They should call it “slightly battered jarred garlic shrimp” instead. The mac salad is delicious though.“

“This little Hawaiian place caught my eye when I was at the Sanrio store next door and I decided to give it a try since it had great reviews. I ordered the family meal (2 BBQ beef and teriyaki chicken), sesame balls, and spam musubi. The price I paid for everything was so worth it. The family meal was only $50 and it came with 3 different choices of meat entrees, steamed rice, and macaroni salad. As you can see in my photos, it's a lot of food. All of the food tasted pretty good too! The meat is a little tough though which would be my only complaint. Service is great and there's plenty of parking as well. There is not a lot of seating inside so take out would be best in my opinion.“

“Aloha Catering has an amazingly epic ambiance with cool decor and festive for holidays. The patio is very spacious and hands down best Hawaiian local joints in LA. Most Hawaiian restaurants are in Soith Bay OC San Diego and Bay Area. Fortunately we are blessed on Los Angeles to have a venue such as this.“

“I wanted y'all to see the consistency of their food. The seasoning is great. It's lightly battered. Very tasty. I've only had one issue and it was handled very well. Thé music is good inside. The food always tastes fresh. They work hard to give us great service. I normally get the red snapper with the shrimp. The basa is good too and there's one more that I want to try.“

“After fasting for a blood test, it was nice to get a satisfying breakfast. Corned beef hash, over easy eggs and a Span Musubi. (skipped the 2 scoops of rice and bread roll... too many carbs.) Server was sweet. Price was average for the area. Seemed to adhere well to pandemic protocols for restaurant with was assuring. I recommend this place for breakfast, for sure.“

“Great food and great service. I'm ok if they don't have indoor seating. I always order to go anyway. I prefer their chicken and beef teriyaki than other hawaiian place near my house. It tastes better on how they cut their meat. Also, I love their potato salad. It's one of the tastiest potato salads that i ever had.“

“This is a hidden gem! The food is fresh to order. I've only tried the pupusas revueltas and tacos de carne asada. It's a small location but definitely worth a try. It's an interesting combination of different foods. The cooks are really sweet and the gentleman at the register is friendly. There are only about 6 tables with 4 chairs each, but if it's only you and your date it's perfect. The decor is a lot of Salvadoran art and some plates with Salvadoran currency. It's cute for a date to chat and have some good food.“

“I find this place challenging to review since it is a variety of different restaurants sharing a location. Think of it as a food court where you park, order from a kiosk, and when prompted drive up to the restaurant you ordered from and pick up. Since there is more than one restaurant I will base this review on the concept of the Grand Food Depot. Really cool idea that provides a variety of options in one spot. The only thing I find somewhat confusing is the parking situation since the parking lot has multiple signs saying for Staff Only and street parking is limited. Also not the best area. But cool concept nonetheless.“

“Great spot for some quick Chinese food! It's about $9 for one meat and lo mein/rice. The coconut shrimp was really good and they give you a lot. Could have been hotter tho lol makes me wonder how long it was sitting there for. Quick and friendly service.“

“One of those places that you're hesitant when you walk by because you see lots of cardboard boxes stacked in the back and front of store when you walk in. There isn't much decor and there isn't any seating. However, I'm extremely glad I gave this place a shot. There was definitely a late lunch rush (around when kids are out from school) when I stopped by. A+ on service, owner was so nice and sweet. She greeted every single person that came in with a big smile and bright loud energy. If you're craving cheap greasy Chinese take out, you get a bang for your buck! They fill their to-go boxes to the brim.“

“Hands down, the best Poke place I have eaten at. I travel for work and I love Poke and I try to visit local Poke restaurants where I'm visiting. The large selection of seafood and toppings makes for a great meal. I love the spicy tuna, the shrimp and scallops. I usually get two scoops of crab meat and add avocado, edamame, cilantro and spicy Poke sauce. I never get tired of eating it. Co-workers say it is the best Poke restaurant they have ever eaten at. They have pretty loyal clientele. You can order online, although I have never done that, and pick up your order. There isn't a lot of seating and it's a large long table in the center and a section against the wall where you can sit and eat. Seating is usually available and most people I noticed take out their order. The parking lot is small and you can usually find parking on the street if necessary. I totally recommend this place. The owner is nice, the management is nice, the step is incredibly friendly and it's just a pleasure eating really good healthy food at this location.“

“Ono opened relatively recently in South Pasadena, conveniently off the 110 fwy. It is a chain that specializes in fast casual Hawaiian food like chicken katsu and spam musubi. It is nice having a Hawaiian restaurant near the Pasadena area, though I wish they had my favorite Hawaiian food loco moco. I'm still trying to figure out what the island white fish is (tilapia, rockfish, etc), so if anyone knows feel free to lmk!“

“Heard about this place on theskedge.com and it was good timing, because I was really in the mood for poke. It was pretty delicious. I had some salmon & tuna, with seaweed salad, etc. Not expensive at all either so I definitely recommend.“

“Great little independent restaurant. The world needs more unique places like this. If only people could tear themselves away from McDonald's and other gross corporate dumps and try something new once in a while. The service was very good. Yeah, they were in the back working when I came in, but they came out right away, so I can't see why anyone would feel the need to complain about that. They were out of a couple menu items this last visit, like their açaí, but it's all good because they have a varied menu and good prices. The interior is decorated with custom art pieces. Just go, ok?Vegetarian options: Açaí and all that implies... several rolls are meatless (avocado, daikon, and so on).Dietary restrictions: Easy for a gluten free person to eat here.Parking: Tons of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking very nearby. A wheelchair could easily roll in. Flat floor layout; no steps or stairs. Spacious, private bathroom.“

“Great place. The fish was fresh and everything tasted good. I also like how they put the scoops of rice separate from the fish as they do in Hawaii- definitely reminded me of the poké I had in O'ahu. Overall 5 stars. The staff was very friendly as well“

“The two things I value about this place: great value and consistency. Is it the best Hawaiian BBQ in the world? Nope. Is it tasty every single time? Yep, and they don't miss. The portions are big and the staff is always friendly. Not many places will let you sub all Mac salad for rice for no additional charge. They don't cut corners and you can watch your food being prepared. Hawaiian BBQ Beef - Well marinated and tender. I love that you can grab more BBQ sauce (A sweeter, lighter Hawaiian shoyu). Hawaiian BBQ Chicken - There's like 4-5 actual chicken thighs in the box, which is great for the price. Grilled. caramelized, and made better with more BBQ sauce. Chicken Katsu - My go-to order. A heaping portion of juicy and delicious fried cutlet. Spam Musubi - Very standard. The best part is that I don't have to make it myself!“

“Clean, Neat, Great community and work ethic“
“Ordered the Hawaiian BBQ mix for delivery. Giant portion (see picture), one large chicken piece, one large piece of the short ribs and a decent size portion of the BBQ Beef. This was my first time eating Hawaiian bbq outside of Hawaii and the chicken was spot on, the ribs were delicious as well, both super tender, juicy and packed with flavor.Never had the beef before and it's just not my taste. Too greasy for me.The meal comes with 2 scoops of regular white rice and a serving of pasta salad.Pasta salad was not as sweet as most places and just a light amount of mayo. Overall decent. The fresh mix side salad comes with a light ginger dressing (yellowish color), that reminds me of the dressings that often are served at sushi spots. For utensils they gave me a spoon and a fork, no knife, which made it inconvenient to eat the large pieces of meat. Also, my fountain drink was missing, but that could've been the Uber drivers fault, so no deduction for that.“

“Interior is small but parking is decent, and I think the food is hit or miss depending on what you order. But for the most part the fried chicken katsu is a good option; the bone in fried chicken that others seem to like was a little dry for me. There is a catering menu and seemingly they are a good option for gatherings. The owners work here and are very sweet Asian couple. They will always smile and engage in conversation with you. Top Restaurant has been in business for a long time so they are doing lots of things right!“
