5 Best Chinese Restaurants near Pinole

“When I read my prior review I realized how much we enjoyed the food. I was surprised that it appeared that we never went back. I had lunch here recently. I ordered the sliced duck in a spicy garlic sauce. It came with fried rice and hot and sour soup. I liked the duck, although it sorta tasted like beef. I had leftovers. When I took them home and examined the food, something I would never do sitting at a table with 10 women, it was indeed duck. Both the soup and fried rice were excellent. The food came to the table quickly. My to-go order took forever. The prices are higher than the other Chinese restaurants I have lunch at. Despite the higher prices, I will no doubt be back. They have an extensive menu with food that I seldom see on other menus. Also, I would like to try some other dishes“

“*** Vegetarian Review *** Uncle Chungs is in my top two Chinese restaurants. Why you ask? They offer vegetarian meats, the service is super friendly, and as a bonus, they have a full view of the city and bay. Vegetarian Chicken Salad (Grade A+) - the dressing is delicious and the breaded fried "chicken" pieces are amazing. Crunchy and not oily. Everything sits on a bed of fried rice noodles and shredded lettuce. Tip - if you order out, ask for the sauce on the side. Vegetarian Princess Chicken (Grade A+) - another must order and always consistent. I've been ordering this dish for at least 20 years and it only gets better. Lightly breaded fake chicken nuggets in a lightly sweet and lightly spicy sauce. Tip - get the sauce on the side if you order this to go. Vegetarian Lemon Chicken (Grade A+) - Lightly breaded vegetarian chicken patty, cut in slices over a bed of lettuce and lemon sauce. Tip - Sauce on the side ... you get it. Overall, whenever I'm in the area, we will go here. Everyone is so friendly here, the view (especially at night) is eye catching, and their vegetarian menu is one of a kind.“

“Good food with decent service but very efficient. Thursday afternoon was pretty empty and food came out quickly. The shrimp rice rolls was a little squishy but the shrimp was fresh. The beef tripe was huge pieces. The chicken feet was tender. The steamed spare ribs came with big pieces of juicy meat. The siu mai was a bit undercooked. The egg tarts was sweet and delicious. The turnip cake was on the less fried side and had very little meat.“

“We Ordered take out from here. We like the egg rolls and peking spare ribs. We like the option of combination plates to try different dishes for a reasonable price. 1,2or 3 dishes to try . Sweet and sour pork and string bean chicken and lo mein was a good choice. The lo mein noodles are really good different from most other restaurants! Thicker and el dente! Full of flavor! Love that it has delivery from Pinole!“

“Just booked a family table of 8 and our night was amazing. Our family has been coming to Hunan Villa for over 30 years! It is our favorite family restaurant.
