“Got takeout. Food was so so good. After Sunflower Garden self-detonated with new owners we were depressed we couldn’t find amazing Chinese food in MTZ. Thank you Aberdeen. Will absolutely be ordering again. King Pow Chicken should have been a lot spicier though.“

“Went there today for the first time for takeout and everything was so delicious and fresh. I've been looking for a new place since my place closed down during covid and I have tried 3 other places and the food was not good at all . I will gladly drive over the bridge from Benicia for this place. I ordered broccoli and chicken tons of chicken and the broccoli was perfectly cooked not all mushy, chow mein and sizzling rice soup which was the best I've had in a long time. Can you tell I'm happy I found this place? Lol“

“This is great place to enjoy a very good lunch special. I have only been here for lunch, so this review is based on my experiences during lunch time. Food: 5/5 Every time I have been here the food has been excellent. The portions are huge, everything is hot and fresh tasting, the sauces are great and I love the flavor and spice of the hot and sour soup. During the lunch special, it includes a good amount of food for a very reasonable price. I usually get the Kung Pao Chicken. It includes one entreé, rice (white or fried is included, or brown for $2 extra) 2 wonton chip, as well as hot and sour soup or wonton soup. The chicken is always very good and the veggies are always perfectly cooked. All that food for only 12 dollars! Service: 5/5 Every time we have been here we are seated quickly. In fact everything is very fast. Our food came out about 5 minutes after ordering and our server was ready to take our order within 2-5 minutes of sitting down. (But, they don't rush you. You have as much time as you need to look at the menu.) Ambiance/Space: 4/5 The ambiance is good, it's not anything extremely special, but it's comfortable. The restaurant is actually a pretty good size as well. They have 2 dining room areas, one of which has a bar (The room with the bar is usually closed during lunch). They also have a couple small tables on a small patio outside for nice days. Parking: 4/5 There is ample parking right in front of the restaurant. The only reason it is 4/5 is because this is a city parking lot and you have to pay to get a parking permit. Although it is very cheap. We paid like $1.50 for almost 2.5 hours! I'm sure it's very good for dinner as well. This is definitely a great little gem if you're wanting to explore the antique shops and the surrounding area in the nice little downtown of Martinez. After we eat here we usually like to check out the antique shop called Antique Corner right across the street. I will posting a review about them as well.“

“I truly love this place. I have been eating here 25 years. The owner, cook, waiter Pete makes the restaurant. He is always smiling and happy to serve up hot tea, soup, and the dish you ordered. If you get lucky maybe he will bring out some fish he is cooking as stock. He likes to talk about current events. Now it is dark and is dusty. And you might be using a napkin that says Happy Thanksgiving. But the tables are clean and atmosphere is homey because of the attitude of Pete.“

“Always fast and efficient, friendly staff and clean area inside. Food is always nice and hot, and it's busy enough to where they always get fresh stuff out. If they are out of something, usually it only takes 1-2 minutes where some locations could take 10. Great store!“

“The tastiest noodle soup I have ever had. I love ramen, pho, Thai soups and this place is the best. I can’t wait to go back. I’ll definitely be a regular. I got a front row seat, watching the chefs pull the noodles, while I ate my delicious spicy wontons and beef bone broth soup. There are 5 noodle sizes to choose from, to customize your soup, from angel hair to wide. Delicious.“

“This place is the real deal. It's litterally an Asian-American Fusion Mom & Pop local gem! Okay, it's essentially a standard Americanized Chinese menu but, the quality is detectable in every bite. The food is some of the best I've had. My wife is chinese and, at the risk of my marrige, she's only ever liked her own food this much. The owners and staff are great and the place is beautiful and well lit. You'll love it!“

“So I've been to Dumpling Hours probably a dozen times. I love this place. I love it even more having recently visited Doh! Zone a couple blocks away over by Five Tacos and a Beer. Don't bother going to Doh! Zone, a Dumpling chain. Do they even make their dumplings in-house like the hardworking folks at Dumplings Hours, I mean you can WATCH them make the dumplings right there!! Dumpling Hours is sooooo much better. They have cracking good wings and garlic green beans as well which are fantastic. But their Xiao Long Bao are wonderful, full of delicious broth, with nice delicate wrappers. The other place, not so much.“

“Service was ahmazing! (We had the tall guy with long hair in a bun help us. Frankie?)He was very helpful in helping us choose a couple dishes. My beer spilled and he was very helpful. Food was just okay. I think Dumpling Hours (?) has better food. The vegetable selection here is nothing you’ll find at any dumpling or Asian restaurants… kale? Really?!?!!!! Nope! I was hoping to get green beans but there weren’t any.The Xiao Long Bao were okay, 3/5. Could use more soup inside. Also, for those not sure how to eat them… yes, you drink the soup inside the dumpling the same time you consume it. Our food had flavor but could use more of everything. That being said, the food really caters towards the majority of the people that lives in this town. And! I’m just happy there’s more Asian food to choose from even though it’s not to die for or the best. I’ll give their other dishes a try next time. Like their beef noodle soup… my expectations are low! Price wise, it’s actually pretty good given the location. $50 total for two people before tips with a beer. We ordered 5 dishes. Also, spicy was not spicy at all. It was mild.“
