“Had two rolls as well as a few of the special fish. They were all really delicious, albeit pricey. Service was great; water kept pouring and we were looked after. We sat in the "back;" it was quiet and there was plenty of conversation to be had. And I really loved the kimono that was hanging on the wall.“

“Solid quantity and quality of food for its pretty reasonable price. Ordered a shrimp udon and though the noodles were not true udon, it was a solid quantity of food and came with six shrimp. And a bowl of miso soup. A nice environment too. Tastes pretty good.“

“The food was delicious!! we got the bulgogi it was grilled and marinated to perfection! They also gave a pretty generous portion so it felt very worth the price. Also tried the combination soonduboo which was soooo yummy. Definitely worth trying this place out if you’re looking for authentic Korean “

“I recently visited for their 2024 Berkeley Restaurant Week dinner set for two, which turned to be the best bargain comparing with the ones in the past. It came with kimchi pancake, half order of KFC wings, and a bottle of beer or Soju. However, being a long-time patron, I'm very disappointed at their Yang Nyum KFC wings that are no longer crunchy and spicy. Not sure if the chef had left or they changed the recipe, but the sauce is no longer red, thick, tangy and spicy like the way that got me hooked years ago. To me, it tastes like the sweet chili sauce used for Lumpia Shanghai, one that's available in Asian supermarket.“
“My husband and I stopped in for sandwiches. Everything there is pre-made which they call Grab and Go. I had the Coronation Chicken and my husband had the Tarragon Chicken. They were delicious and the prices were reasonable. We also had a Southwestern Salad which was good but I thought it could use more corn and black beans. I understand that food costs are really high. They have a few tables to eat in. They also have Take and Bake dinners which I want to try. I think those have to be pre-ordered. We will be back even though it's a bit of a drive for us.“

“Tried this place on a whim one night and was really pleasantly surprised! I love the style of personal hot pot when you get to pick all your own ingredients, but it had been a really long time since I've found one near me. I loved this place! All the ingredients were so fresh and they were very quick after we gave it to them. It was also fairly priced in comparison to Berkeley prices - it's $16 per pound and mine ended up being around $18.50. I thought it was well worth for the quick service, great food, and comforting, cozy atmosphere.“

“Good food and very friendly service! If one orders the all you can eat salad, bread sticks and soup a suggestion would be to have a slightly smaller soup bowl as an option so that the customer can try all the soup choices versus only being able to finish one or two soups on the menu“

“Stopped in with the family for dinner. We had the shrimp rolls, basket of fries, a pork banh mi, a chicken rice plate, and a pork rice plate. Everything was delicious. The little one loves the aoli sauce that came with the fries. They offer water for free, and have a variety of canned soda to drink.“
