“We dined on a Thursday it wasn't very busy due to rain. However we were kindly waited on and served in a timely manner. The bathrooms were also clean! There is a front and back entrance and pickup is on the left side of the front entrance when you walk in about halfway through the restaurant. (Saw many people confused by this) They have many dishes that are classic takeaway options. We didn't try anything too spicy but will have to when I return. We ordered the double mushroom chicken, veggie and brown rice fried rice, pan fried pork dumplings, and scallion pancakes( who doesn't love fried dough?) . Everything was tasty and as expected. This may be become a regular takeaway spot if I'm in rwc!“

“Food: 5; Service: 5; Ambiance: hole in the wall This restaurant has very authentic Chinese food that can be made to order, specifically gluten-free on request and still delicious. We particularly recommend the eggplant and fish, curry chicken, green beans with shredded pork, and twice cooked pork, all of which can be made GF, of course! The place has no ambience to speak of, and is on a somewhat sketchy road, but the food is worth it. Redwood Bistro also has an online ordering system if you prefer. It's a long drive for us, but worth it.“

“Better then Panda Express!As soon as had ny first taste it was very fresh and savory. I had Green Bean Beff, Sweat and Sour Chicken accompanied with rice and chow mein. The prices are better then Pandas express and the serving is way bigger...“

“We came here this past Monday for take out after coming to the court house to square some jurey duty business away. I had heard so much about this on Yelp & drove by & we saw how busy it was last year. It is some of the best I have had. It is interesting as you order outside & wait in your car; the guy will either call out your order or bring it to you when it is ready. My orange chicken over rice was excellent; tender chicken with a lite badder & flavorful slightly spicy cause. The rice was perfectly done, not dry or soggy. My mother loved her Singapore style rice noodles. The cool part is is that we had enough for two days. We will definitely be back to try more. So, for some wonderful Chinese food at reasonable prices with friendly service, Chef Chen's cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.“
