We all who live or work in midtown Sacramento we're really looking forward to having a new Italian restaurant in this area. Three of us visited Pazza Notte right after Christmas. The restaurant itself is attractive and was very busy that evening. Unfortunately the food was bad. The Caeser salad with chicken was disappointing. The chicken pieces were tough and tasteless. The shrimp scampi I had came out warm. When the waiter brought it back it was hot on top and still warm in the middle. The dish itself was unacceptable and I only ate about four or five bites. The bruschetta appeared to be warmed up mozzarella on what appeared to be a soft roll. The other person in our group said his dish was "okay" but he wouldn't come back. Service was completely fine. I really hope this restaurant works on its food. When you read reviews on Yelp you see quite a few comments about everything about the restaurant being good except the food. Obviously that's a problem. Since we live in the neighborhood we will try this restaurant again in a couple months. Hopefully the food gets better.
