We arrived on time for our dinner reservation for Valentine’s Day, yet we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. My food arrived about 20 minutes after we ordered, but we waited an hour after that and my husband’s food never arrived. The waitress might have known that if she had ever come back to check on us. She didn’t comp us anything and we left zero tip for the first time ever. First time having dinner there, but never eating there again.

Especially when factoring in price, this was one of the overall worst restaurant dinners we’ve ever had. $18 for a chunk of Brie covered in jam and six 2x3” slices of toast was the best the dinner got — and that was because, well, they definitely didn’t make that bread and cheese in-house. The beet salad was…fine, again at $18. Entrees: the chicken was dry, unseasoned, and flavorless. The potatoes au gratin were cooked well but unseasoned and bland. All FIVE of my $38 (!) "lobster" ravioli were unidentifiable and filled out with sautéed shrimp — again, no salt or seasoning of any kind. The "scampi sauce" was nothing but cream and had no flavor of butter or garlic. There was no hint of lobster flavor. The ravioli pasta itself was unseasoned and spongy. Finally, the butternut squash ravioli had all the same problems — no seasoning, no browned butter, no flavor at all. We were honest with our server when she asked how things were and were given a $25 gift card to come back and try again as well as a free dessert. We chose the creme brûlée, thinking was hard to ruin. The caramelized sugar on top was soft and chewy and covered with cold, raw, unripe berries. The brûlée itself was lukewarm and — of course — no flavor. No vanilla, no rich eggy custard. Just…like yellow milk that left a film in my mouth and on my lips. Total, with tip to our great server, $175 for three people (two appetizers, three entrees, no drinks, and the dessert was free). This place must be surviving on the bar alone.
