This is a cute place I've been coming here for a number of years. Today I came in to get me and my grandmother a sandwich. I spent $30.00 for 2 small sandwiches. That's very expensive considering they aren't very large. Don't get me wrong the food is good here and the sourdough is great. But the prices are way too high for the amount of food you get. Can't really afford to come here anymore which is a bummer. The staff seemed annoyed because I got there 30 minutes before closing....read full review
Huge disappointment. Bread was dry. Coffee was meh. The front lady was the worst with dirty shirt and... kind of rude. Almost ruined my morning but I am not gonna let her do that for my life. I would never return.

Although not as great as it used to be, and I think the soups (and bread) are the best at Boudin SF, it's still worth a visit as a cafe. I had a combo with a decent grilled cheese. I just wish they had tomato soup as their daily choice, and why do they close so early at 4pm? The fact that they offer organic iced tea means a lot to me.
