The Dan Dan noodles were phenomenal, perfectly spicy and numbs the back of your throat with how much Sichuan pepper they put in it. Then we got the Red chili pepper chicken, which had an abundance of chilies, peanuts fried garlic, and was also amazing. Plus they home make their own soy sauce, which is also amazing. 10/10 would Chinese food again.”

It's just a slight tingle of spicy. Very tender and moist.?Garlic Naan - gentle garlic taste, and very gentle doughy background. These were good.?Chicken Tikia Masala - complex creamy savory spiced flavour throughout. Very gentle hint of sweetness and sourness. The chicken within is breast meat, cooked perfectly so it's not dry. We got the mild spice level, this was also fantastic.?Mango Lassi - I loved it. Not too sweet, creamy, light mango flavour throughout the background.?Overall, each time I've gone here, I've had a great meal.”

If you’ve never tried an arepa you are missing out… I recommend the Reina Pepiada (shredded chicken, avocados, and mayo) or El Tiburon (shrimp, mozzarella, avocado) and of course an order of delicious fried plantains! I discovered the Pana Food Truck at the CSUMB campus (they are most often in Santa Cruz) and I was pleased to find that they have a location at the SAP Center in San Jose. Highly Recommend!”

I toned it down with almond milk and sugar because it's strong! Hubby had the Omelette Mexicano with a side of sausage links. I had the Omelette Santa Cruz with cheddar cheese. Both came with house potatoes and were quite generous portions. The food was good, the service excellent and the Saturday morning vibe was perfect, with Brazilian music in the background. Arrive early, because this place is popular and gets crowded FAST.”

All the employees were warm and attentive.No fancy, no unnecessary frills.The breakfast offering was good, the portions were decent (not too much either) and everything tasted really good. Their menu has expanded over the years, and a lot of care is taken by the whole team to make sure the all of their offerings are really tasty and inclusive to all dietary needs.I have celiac disease, and typically feel safe eating here. They have a handful of very tasty gluten free items, and are very friendly and accommodating. I love the breakfast tacos, poke and other fish bowls, fish tacos, chicken leg plate, and the burger (with no bun). As with pretty much all places, not guaranteed to have no cross contamination, but if you want them to take extra precautions, just ask! I remind them I have celiac and they do a great job :)Dietary restrictions: Options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. You can ask for accommodations too (ie no cheese, or add cabbage)”

They have Italian licorice which is soft and has a brown color and they use molasses in it it's excellent. If you haven't been to this place I suggest you go.”

So if you find yourself shopping downtown and want to get off you feet for a little while and enjoy a nice selection of wine for tasting, walk a couple blocks over from Pacific on Church and I’m sure you’ll enjoy their selection and the friendly staff.”

Very relaxed but lively environment, the owner runs the cash register and makes the dumplings!Which, by the way, were some of the best I’ve had. I ordered the beef Momo dumplings, and they were served with a spicy red sauce, and a side salad with grated carrot and lemon dressing.The dumplings were savory and spiced to perfection. Every ingredient in the meat mix came through uniquely and beautifully. The salad dressing was so bright and delicious that I wanted to drink it, and the spicy red sauce added the perfect extra kick to the dumplings, if you like spice like me, you would definitely enjoy. Got the whole plate for $13 (including tax).I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and I didn’t even get to the drink menu. But based on the reactions of other customers who got drinks while I was there, their drink menu is also very satisfactory. Highly recommend!”

“This place is LIT ever since they started accepting EBT, last time I was here a mentally disadvantaged old man was collecting trash and organizing it into small piles on his table. Needless to say the police arrived shortly, and after getting the mans attention from across the dining room and beckoning him over the old man quickly got to his feet. Visibly flustered, the man muttered a few indiscernible phrases before pointing at the officers and clearly shouting 'YOUR GOING TO JAIL!' and hurling a taco at them!(I'm assuming, the taco never actually got close to either of them and instead hit the roof)The two officers immediately sprung into action safely subduing the individual before he could blatantly ignore any more health and safety codes or engage in any more unprovoked attempts at physical violence. Thoroughly amused I return to waiting for my order to be called(about another 30 seconds) After receiving my food and filling my soda at the fountain, I head out to my girlfriend's car, as I walk through the doors I'm not even slightly surprised to see 12 more police cars and a motorcycle and about 25 more officers one of which is finishing up interviewing my girlfriend. As we get into the car I noticed she's got a huge grin on her face .After I ask what's so funny she tells me the cop that interviewed her ended the interview with the question 'At what point did you know they were cops?' Now for the whole ride home I'm left wondering why that's even included in the line of questioning...”

It was a Sunday afternoon, and while we were practically the only ones there, our large order for 6 people took a bit longer than usual. Not a single missing item, everything exactly as we ordered on the mobile app. Huge props to the staff for handling our big order with such accuracy, especially while being short-handed. The okra was lightly charred which gave it a delicious texture and flavor. It was slightly salty for my taste but I enjoyed it. We also had the adrak ki aloo gobi, a dish with cauliflower and potatoes. This one was spicier but good. Vegan items are clearly marked on the menu.”

So if you find yourself shopping downtown and want to get off you feet for a little while and enjoy a nice selection of wine for tasting, walk a couple blocks over from Pacific on Church and I’m sure you’ll enjoy their selection and the friendly staff.”

Their fries (garlic and regular and sweet potato) are perfection, and the onion rings are the best I’ve had short of fancy tempura-style. The smash burger is very good. I think the patties could be a bit thinner or maybe just use one, to get that perfect meat to toppings ratio, but that’s a personal preference. The ribeye steak sandwich was also superb.Oh, and if you like grits, these are second only to Brenda’s in SF / Oakland.Great beer selection (St. Adarius rotating tap), have yet to try a cocktail.Will definitely be back!”

“Nina ROCKS!!! We wandered in on a whim and she did not disappoint! This place is the best little dive/ hip spot but you’d never imagine just walking by. The atmosphere is chill and fun, she made us feel completely welcome and we met some of the regulars. She turned the whole place into a Karaoke party and the whole bar got into the vibe. We ended up staying until the next shift came on and late into the night. These guys and gals really know how to show you a good time. The cocktails were great and the prices were really decent.
