“At our advanced age we have not caught up the rapid increase in the cost of eating out...but that is what it is. Ignoring that fact of the cost of living today, our view of the quality of food and service stands alone, and that view is that we had a marvelous meal and the service was excellent. We will probably return to enjoy that food and service again soon.“

“Food was so delicious!! We had their special Western Fried Chicken Sandwich. Flavor was on point and chicken was juicy and didn't have to much breading. Also got a coffee shake the flavor was great but I was hoping for more of a thick shake. Staff was super friendly and we got our food fairly quickly since they were very busy. We are so glad we finally stopped by but sad it was their last day opened. Prices are reasonable for the price of food these days.“

“We enjoy this restaurant every time we come to Sonoma square. The burgers and pappardelle are great! The service is also quick and friendly. I would say they could work on the ambiance - the placement of food orders is up front which isnt visually pleasing.“

It's fabulous in the summer, but cozy even now, they have tons of heat lamps! They have now added options of multiple sides with burger, sandwiches. Dog friendly as well! My new fave place!“

“I cant say enough about Layla at MacArthur Place! My mom and her partner went to Layla for their anniversary as they had been spending the weekend in Sonoma. They were staying at a different hotel and didn't have the best experience, so they needed a special evening to restore their spirits. The team at Layla gave them more than they could ever imagine!My mom said the food was out of this world, and that it was the most decadent meal she had ever experienced. The Executive Chef and service team went above and beyond to make their evening special, acknowledging their anniversary, providing top notch service, and crafting food and beverages that blew them away... even paying attention to dietary restrictions and creating food and beverages that honored their needs.I have eaten at Layla myself and had an amazing experience with delicious unique dishes and quality service, so I was happy to send my mom there for her special night. “Great all around Culinary experience especially if you love champagne and caviar as I do. I made Friday 7:30 PM Resy reservations for two so we could enjoy the live Jazz band during our meal. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated at a cozy table for 2. The cool vibe of the place is very romantic. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with a beautiful bar area. Katlyn took very good care of us. We ordered The Caviar Tasting, 2 Champagne Tastings, Tuna Tartare, Uni Toast and the Chirashi. All the dishes, caviar and champagne were exceptional. When we were given our bill, we were also presented with 2 Macaroons with a sparkler... nice touch. Two things to take note of here, if you go when there is a live band, it's loud, to the point I couldn't have conversation with my friend without yelling, nor could I hear Katlyn. Plus if it is a factor for you, there is an extra cover charge for the nights a live band is there. In addition, it is quite pricey, so expect to pay $$$$ for the experience. Atmosphere: cool vibe of the place is very romantic. Service: excellent. Food: excellent.“
