New American Restaurants in Stockton, CA

“How hard is it to make decent food and decent drinks in your own niche market? Well these guys make it look effortless. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The owner knows what being in the service industry means and treats everyone with respect. We’ve been here a few times. They have a small menu of their signature dishes and they do not miss. We’ve tried their burgers, chicken sandwich, tacos and most of their appetizers and they are above great! Drinks are well crafted. The inside looks small but they do have additional seating in the back and outside. Staff is attentive to all areas. Restaurant owners in this town should come and observe how it’s done. Patrons, don’t overlook this hidden gem, they don’t disappoint! Thank you for giving us a nice local place to spend our time (and money) ;)“

“It was just amazing! We had a schedule mistake with our last venue and 3 days before the event they accommodated us without any issues! The food was absolutely great from the pastas to the crab! Also their focaccia bread is by far the best I've ever had. Their event staff and bartenders were completely helpful, kindhearted and fun. They made this event run so smoothly. Thank you so much!!! “The AVE owner was so kind. My partner had a family member taken to the local hospital, and I was left with our dog, and two friends because of hospital policy. So I took the dog and friends downtown. We were looking for a place to sit down, snack, and wait till my partner was ready to leave the hospital.The owner let us bring our dog inside, and gave us a nice table and couch to sit on. We let our German Shorthair Pointer sleep on the couch, and the owner was so kind.We are so thankful for the hospitality and kindness that were shown. We were dressed for a hike, not a club, and the owner made us feel welcome.Thank You AVE Owner and Staff.“

“I definitely will go.back and purchase a few meals. I literally randomly saw them because I was sitting waiting on my nephew to get his hair done across rhe way. I was starving and didn't want to eat any fast food. So I ran over to see what they were about. The fact that they had a microwave there was wonderful,.that meant I could warm my food up right there and eat it in the car, Lol. The food was pretty good. Sopa (spelling) was the customer service rep there, she is super cool, knowledgeable and laid back. I ordered a turkey something... it had cheese, rice, beans and a salsa and OMG, the brownies! I highly warn y'all to be careful, with the brownies, they are VERY addictive.“

“I luv the tacos, ice cream is the basic flavors, the milk shakes, cheese burger, egg rolls, burrito, chili cheese fries and the cheese pizza is good too. I still have more to try. The tacos are my favorite to get. I go to the one on Country Club.“

“The Food was amazing. They ran out of Blue Moon, but had an alternative, thank goodness..( seems every restaurant runs out, or does not carry blue moon) The best thing? Amazing service. I put the wrong total, and one of the amazing employees found me out front, to correct the issue. Definitely my go to from now on!! That in itself, was amazing..“
