“I been wanting to try this place for the longest time. I finally was able to do that last week and I am really glad I did. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a butterfinger shake. The food was very good. Eveything was cooked to order, hot and fresh. However, the shake kind of threw me off a lil bit....not sure if it was the candy or the milk, but something was off. Anyway, I didnt let that stop me, I drank it anyway. The lady who took my order was nice and friendly. The resturant was clean, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. I will definitely be back. Ill be bringing my family with me!“

“How hard is it to make decent food and decent drinks in your own niche market? Well these guys make it look effortless. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The owner knows what being in the service industry means and treats everyone with respect. We’ve been here a few times. They have a small menu of their signature dishes and they do not miss. We’ve tried their burgers, chicken sandwich, tacos and most of their appetizers and they are above great! Drinks are well crafted. The inside looks small but they do have additional seating in the back and outside. Staff is attentive to all areas. Restaurant owners in this town should come and observe how it’s done. Patrons, don’t overlook this hidden gem, they don’t disappoint! Thank you for giving us a nice local place to spend our time (and money) ;)“

“Wonton Soup (half wonton half noodles) -- excellent !!! comforting. meats tender. wonton is plentiful. it's ok that it's not thin egg noodle (but the chow mein style noodle) , still delicious. server was very nice and made conversation. the cook was shouting during lunch hour rush and it gave me a very no-frills, home-cooked vibe. They have been here so long, I wish i had visited sooner. I will definitely be visiting again soon.“

“I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.“

“I was using a small meeting space at the restaurant. The service was absolutely fantastic. We made some late last minute changes for the menu and all of my requests were met. Our servers were great. They acknowledged that we were having a presentation every time they entered the room and did their best to be out of the screen projector picture. We all did not run out of water/wine. When we had to pivot the menu for a vegetarian request it was promptly served. I will definitely be using them again. They brought in a projector and it worked beautifully!! This place/even was absolutely Perfect.“

“It was just amazing! We had a schedule mistake with our last venue and 3 days before the event they accommodated us without any issues! The food was absolutely great from the pastas to the crab! Also their focaccia bread is by far the best I've ever had. Their event staff and bartenders were completely helpful, kindhearted and fun. They made this event run so smoothly. Thank you so much!!! “The AVE owner was so kind. My partner had a family member taken to the local hospital, and I was left with our dog, and two friends because of hospital policy. So I took the dog and friends downtown. We were looking for a place to sit down, snack, and wait till my partner was ready to leave the hospital.The owner let us bring our dog inside, and gave us a nice table and couch to sit on. We let our German Shorthair Pointer sleep on the couch, and the owner was so kind.We are so thankful for the hospitality and kindness that were shown. We were dressed for a hike, not a club, and the owner made us feel welcome.Thank You AVE Owner and Staff.“

“I definitely will go.back and purchase a few meals. I literally randomly saw them because I was sitting waiting on my nephew to get his hair done across rhe way. I was starving and didn't want to eat any fast food. So I ran over to see what they were about. The fact that they had a microwave there was wonderful,.that meant I could warm my food up right there and eat it in the car, Lol. The food was pretty good. Sopa (spelling) was the customer service rep there, she is super cool, knowledgeable and laid back. I ordered a turkey something... it had cheese, rice, beans and a salsa and OMG, the brownies! I highly warn y'all to be careful, with the brownies, they are VERY addictive.“

I Always look forward to Friday when they have the clam chowder in the bread bowl. All the staff is friendly. The mixed drinks were delicious and the food was really, really good. The sever Alex was very attentive and we barely had to wait a min for everything .
