“Lamb was very tender and girthy, it was especially good raw. The lack of soda perplexed me, I gained over 25 pounds after eating here! Finally I way 440 pounds. The laterally thin rice dessert completely satisfied my cravings. The nice whitish liquid, that elicited a delicious reaction with my pink tongue, wowed my world. Overall my chakra levels increased and I can now go on to master spinjutsu! We love you Tecca! 10/10“

“The soup base is great. I would recommend anyone who loves Sichuan food to try Green Peppercorn soup base. This place has AYCE through Monday to Wednesday plus Thursday lunch if I’m not getting it wrong. Meat plates are in generous sizes. Definitely recommend this place!“

“They recently changed hotpot to the Taiwanese style stake. We missed that night market stake taste very much so we ordered the ribeyes stake and it was delicious and the source was great! Definitely coming back again soon. Be aware the wait time when order corn soup with bread, it take longer to cook but that is a must try item“

“I've been here enough times to confirm the consistency of the quality. I like the MaLaTang offered at this restaurant the most. You pick the items you want included in your MaLa() from a buffet line, your selection is weighed, and they cook it for you. You get to choose 1 of 3 options of how you'd like your MaLa() cooked -- hot pot, stir fry, or something else. You also choose your level of spiciness . I choose 0 spice, but some friends that think they can usually handle mild find level 1 spice to be surprisingly much spicier than what they expect (typically what they consider a 4-5).I love this place since they cook for you, so unlike other hot pot places, there's no chance for you to over-boil your own food. The broth flavor offered here also is savory, and matches my palate. I think some other hot pot places could improve their broth since it's not memorable or anything better than what you make at home.I will continue to go back for the MaLaTang (soup). My friends think this is their best strength on the menu, too. Although the fries look fancy in presentation (they use dry ice in its own bowl and refill the water in the dry ice bowl to continue the show), I found it too greasy but without much flavor or the right crunch to order again.“

I like how these items are self-serve so you don’t have to wait. I especially love their complimentary appetizer bar. They have high-quality unique appetizers there, including chicken feet and clams. “20$ per person for all you can eat is a steal. We got the Spicy house broth and the Pork broth which were split in half - free of charge. There are better options on the menu that are extra charge but we opt out of that so we can have the bare minimum experience. We came when they first open again after their lunch break which was at 5 pm (deal ends at 6pm). It wasn't busy at all, just us and one other family. The staff didn't speak much English so it was a little difficult for us to let the waiter know what we wanted. Everything is self served so you just go to the sauce and meat bar and grab what you want in the big clear bowl. Their water cup was so small it's kinda funny but it does its job however it was annoying that we have to keep refilling every slurp. Meat was not the highest quality but it still tastes great! I would come here again just cause the price is so good. Hot pot usually ain't cheap in the Bay Area.“
