“I recently dined at Denny's in Vallejo, and while the food was absolutely delicious and the service decent, the emphasis on tipping left a sour taste. I believe it's the owner's duty to fairly compensate their employees. I work hard for my money and don't appreciate the expectation to freely give it away as tips. I'm paying for a service, not the salaries of someone else's employees. In my own company, I ensure my employees are well-compensated to avoid the pitiful need for tips. I provide excellent service without expecting tips, and I've even made it a policy for my employees not to solicit them. The restaurant offers a nice view overlooking the freeway, though the area might feel unsafe during certain hours with homeless people seen around. Overall, my experience was mixed, overshadowed by the uncomfortable tipping culture.“
“The food at Denny's in Vallejo is very good and the waitress -Crystal(I think) doesn't even use a pad to write your order. She is on point and great service.Vegetarian options: There are options on the menu but also just ask.Dietary restrictions: Ask for what you want, they seem very agreeable.Parking: Parking at the building.Kid-friendliness: It seems to be kid friendly and I saw family's there.Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the first level and ramps built in to driveway to get inside.“
