“My wife and I had dinner earlier tonight. We shared Sashimi, Caesar Salad, Gnudi, and Black Cod. All were excellent except for the Black Cod which had great flavors but was drowned in oil. Service was excellent although a bit on the fast side. WIth those courses and no desert, we were done in under an hour. Wine prices were on the high side, so we took advantage of the $25 corkage fee. The joint was jumping and quite noisy, but it was still possible to converse. We will definitely return!“

“When I say 5 we mean it!! I only do Best and Worst reviews and this place is in top 3 Restaurants we have ever eaten at in the World. From the romantic ambience to the service to the drinks to the food to the desserts, it is all PERFECT!! Our server "Brian" was the best, super friendly, helpful and made our experience more special. After helping us pick all of the delectable Appetizers we chose the Lasagne for our entree and it was phenomenal. Then we had to try the desserts and to our surprise Brian had prepared for us a custom Dessert Trio that was to die for. I hesitated to even write a review worried people will flood this beautiful restaurant and it will be too hard to get in anymore We will be back frequently until we try everything on this Menu!! Cannot wait.“

“Had lunch here on Feb. 13th. It was included in the wine trolley tour package I purchased.We were served 6 courses. Started up with a salad. I forgot what kind of greens in it. It has apples and cheese. The dressing is delightful. Then pasta came with red sauce. It was good enough, although, pasta was overcooked. Then 3 typesof pizza came out after. Pizzas were good enough, but all of them are on the salty side. Then after, we had pistachio ice cream for desert. And that was the best one of all that was served to us. The server lady was attentive.“

“Needed to pick a bit to eat last minute and managed to grab a seat at the bar. It was perfect - James was my bartender - made me perfect drink and gave me great recommendations for dinner. 6 lovely local oysters, pork chop milanese with spring vegetables, and the tiramisu I left a happy and full! “The food was very good, some of the pasta dishes were a bit small and the pasta sometimes overcooked. Overall this is a really cute place, and we did enjoy coming here. In the morning you can see them making fresh pasta through the window, which is very cool as well!“

“Lawler’s is the place to visit for all your adult beverages in Napa! I was in town visiting from Georgia. I was on the hunt for some rare Bourbons at a great price! I stumbled up on this small establishment called Lawler’s and my search ended! Peter was awesome! He’s very knowledgeable about whatever you want, and extremely inviting and friendly! Being from the south, I have never walked into a liquor store that had every rare Bourbon imaginable! I was in Bourbon heaven! I promise you won’t find a better price on every day liquor selections, and if you are in the hunt for those rare items, GO TO LAWLER’S! Also, I heard the food is too die for as well! “It's a cozy, inviting restaurant. Our party ordered the Calbrese pizza as an appetizer, it was tasty, fresh and a great starter. Two of us had the cream of broccoli soup, which was creamy and delicious. For our entrees, there was the halibut over pasta, lamb shank and mushroom risotto, fettuccine, and chicken marsala. The portions were generous and everything was fresh and well seasoned! The halibut was prepared perfectly. The play of flavors between the mushroom risotto and lamb shank were incredible!“

“This is the original store . Two to three times the size of Walnut Creek. Same food and about the same service. Although she made my sandwich dry, Dijon mustard with oil and vinegar has never been so dry. Maybe it was the excess lettuce with no double oil and vinegar. Nevertheless, when Food QUALITY is universal. It’s kind of hard to mess up. Next time I’ll sit outside.“

“A Taste of Italy in the heart of St. Helena! My family and I just ate at Pizzeria Tra Vigne and it's a total Italian treasure! The handcrafted mozzarella is so delicious, and their pasta and pizza are some of the best food we have ever had in St. Helena. Oh, and save room for dessert - it's worth it. “I went to get dinner for my soon to be 84 year old elderly aunt that was in the hospital, and even though they closed early and had not updated their operating hours online, they still graciously prepared her a posta dish that she wanted. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other food for myself. Amazing service to both the staff and chef for preparing her dish after hours. I can't thank you enough.“

“In Sonoma it is not real easy to find a restaurant open on Tuesday or Wednesday. Luckily we found Jacob's. This is a small family business. The service and staff are great. The server recommend wines were very good. We ordered bruschetta 4/5, calamari 5/5, and a pizza half Sonoma 5/5 and half ham and pineapple 5/5. The pizza crust is very good.“

“This is the best Italian food we've had out in a long, long time. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. The kids got half orders of ravioli and another pasta with meat sauce. Those meals were unnecessary because there was plenty of food in the Italian Feast. For $31, we got two salads, a cheese pizza, spaghetti and lasagna (each for both of us) plus the delicious bread they bring to the table. That was enough for two adult and two kids alone. Our waitress, Shannon R, was so sweet and helped us with choosing what to order. She was attentive and so sweet to the boys. The restaurant was authentic, clean and welcoming. We would definitely come back. Amazing experience.“

“By far the best malfatti, ravioli and meatballs I've ever had. The sauce (gravy) is a work of art from a pro with decades of experience. This families takeout food has been a centerpiece for my families big dinners and holidays since I was a kid.“

“A small little viby bistro on Main Street in St Helena is worth a stop. The restaurant is clean and tidy with chill decor. Tables with tablecloth and proper napkins gives this restaurant an upscale feel. The service is quick and friendly. The menu is a nice size and the wine list is as well. The menu confused me a bit with the choices of ravioli, fish and chips, a burger and tacos in the same menu but it kinda worked. The food came out quiclkly and hot. The burger was noshed down quickly as was the fish and chips. The artichoke was a bit wet even though it was grilled. The pumpkin ravioli was tasty but a bit too sweet. The wines we chose were good quality and went well with the food. All in all a good experience. Caution: parking is not that easy to find and you may have to walk a bit.“

“Loved the ambiance here! Their outdoor seating is beautiful, almost like a garden with a fountain. Staff was super friendly also. We ordered 2 different pastas, and it didn't disappoint! We got the gnocchi and the duck papperdelle with truffle oil. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly and wasn't mushy, very much comfort food! The papperdelle was cooked al dente, and I loved how I could taste the truffle oil. Both pastas reminded me of real pasta like from Italy! I couldn't stop eating the bread, mainly because of the balsamic! It was a little thicker than your normal balsamic vinegar but not as thick of a glaze. It was sweet, and I couldn't stop dipping my bread in it with oil. For dessert we got the torta di cioccolata, it was delicious! Loved the chocolate mousse with the cherry liquor on top, and the amaretto crust was a nice touch! Definitely want to come back for their pastas!“

Clearly we didn't stop in for atmosphere, with its wide open dining area and very high ceiling, the sound really bounces around, but when it comes to food this is where you want to be.The open faced meatball sandwich is truly a meal! Those enormous house made meatballs are just the right size for the fresh sourdough bread, add the fresh melted mozzarella and red sauce and your in heaven!.Apparently sandwiches are in their wheelhouse, they also serve one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had. Layered cheeses with a bit of sauce squeezed in between the grilled sourdough bread was the best I have ever had. Add a side salad and your set.Although the server seemed to take a while to warm up, overall the service was good. This is a great place for lunch. Cheers!“

“Wow! Of course all the food here is incredible but this review is going to be about Evette... What an incredible server! We came here last Sunday with about 30 people! She handled all of us with such ease, grace and kindness...I wonder if anything ever rattles this girl! She was just so kind and patient which is just unbelievable for such a large group! I was embarrassed to even admit this, that we had so many separate checks, and how she handled that was unbelievable as well! I gave her a huge tip, I just hope my friends followed suit... “Great place, Hasn't changed in 15 years. The staff is friendly and you can hear them sing and laugh, which helps add to the comfortable environment. Customer service is great. “This was the best restaurant experience of my life. We came in to celebrate my sister's bachelorette party. The ambience was lovely. The layout of the restaurant was cozy but not crowded. The other guests there were wonderul, kind people. The food was fantastic. And then there was Charles. I could not in my wildest dreams have imagined better service than that which we received. Charles was kind and funny, helpful and so attentive. He knew the area well and helped us plan our evening. Whatever he's being paid, pay him more. He's truly one of a kind. “I popped into Mary's on the plaza to see my family on my break during my 12 hour shift in the ER. Francis, the manager, realized and he sent me with all of the night's leftover pizza from Slice Shack to the Sonoma Valley Hospital night shift. Now that's community! As usual, I got exceptional and quick service at the bar tables from Rochelle and everyone who checked in on us, including the staff that cooked our wings. Thank you Mary's Pizza, so appreciated!!“
