“I had the pleasure to eat at this fine establishment over the weekend with some great people! Let’s just say Sushi Den do not disappoint for my fist experience and will definitely be back. Everything was awesome from the cocktails to the Nigiri and high end Whisky!“
“I LOVE this place. From the ambiances to the service to the food and drinks, everything there is phenomenal. When we sat down we were greeted with a sample cocktail to sip on while we browsed the menu. I loved how personable the experience was. They asked our names and it felt like just a genuine experience. Our bartender José was so wonderful and informative about all my questions on the menu. His cocktails were so great! Will definitely be back“
“I'm in town from Oregon and I rode the bus for like an hour to eat lunch here by myself. No regrets. The atmosphere: unmatched. Folks were playing songs on the juke box that got me hype for a concert I'm seeing tomorrow, and the bartender's playlist was super dope too. The food: unreal. I got the poodle bites and idk if I was expecting like more of a hush puppy with a little bit of ground meat inside, but that first bite of pure cornmeal-fried sausage absolutely took me out. You must get these. The Gwarled cheese was really good too, you gotta put the pickles on it for some bite cause it's rich. Pork belly was a tad dry for me. The sweet tots were the best I've ever had (and I come from the state that invented tater tots!) The service: awesome. Food came quick, I didn't get drinks but other folks were getting them immediately and cheerfully. Go here and tip well!“
“Always a great experience. Fantastic local hot spot with some of the best pizza in town. They have great salads and sandwiches as well. Good for the family, good for yourself, good with friends, good for a couple, even smaller company gatherings. TV's are always on, staff is exceedingly friendly, and the food quality is second to none. Must visit, again and again.“
“Wonderful location on top of the Le Meridian hotel in UpDn. Few bites and several cocktails to choose from. Great place for a date or meeting. You will need to join the waitlist in the lobby . Check the website to make sure they’re accepting reservations for that day.Great fire pit seating . No bar seating. Difficult to come here solo. Some cocktails are on draft. Some are shaken. Not a huge fan of the batched cocktails but I get it. $17 avg price for a cocktail. The corozon old fashioned was quite good.“
“Looks like I missed a real opportunity to take a bunch of cool pictures at what was a really amazing vegan restaurant - and what I did take was one admittedly not very good - picture of what WAS a VERY delicious salad. We enjoyed the heck out of sitting on the patio, composting everything, and drinking unlimited sparkling water on tap, so I would and WILL absolutely return to the spot next time I am in Denver!“
“My fiancé and I went to Rioja last night for our anniversary. We made note on our res that we were there to celebrate and the servers were the best! They sent over an unexpected celebratory glass of champagne for the both of us. The service was 10/10, they had wonderful recommendations, kept the table clean from crumbs and dishes etc. Let's start with the drinks- I had the Pisco cocktail which was fun, it's on the sweeter side, if you like a sweet cocktail with mint and grapefruit, this is the drink for you. My partner got the Mediterranean olive oil cocktail - so fun and the presentation was beautiful. The food was unique and inspired. We ordered the set tasting menu, we loved everything we tried. Highly recommend the artichoke tortellini and the venison was cooked to perfection. The restaurant felt high end but not stuffy. Thank you for an awesome date night!!“
“Best restaurant in Welby! Ive been enjoying their food abs beer since 1982. Everything is tasty and fresh. The service can't be beat. Shelly knows the menu through and through. I always welcome her recommendations. Hope to see you there!“
“I honestly am so excited we decided to walk into this bar the vibes are great and the service was amazing I had the 5 cheese pizza and I absolutely loved it I ate the whole thing alone ? the manager/bartender/server Martina was great made me laugh and was quick with the service if you decide to come here you will not regret it“
“Something between tapas and dim sum, the Latin inspired small plates are delicious. I love that everyone takes dietary restrictions seriously: so many gluten-free dishes to choose from! Happy hour is definitely worth the early arrival. Great craft cocktails, especially the signature gin & tonics.“
“Let’s start with the simplistic yet warm ambiance of the restaurant. It feels like a special and even secret space. It’s like walking into someone’s home. The staff are absolutely excellent in their field. The host Jen in particular was charming and fluid in her orchestrating our seating. Which by the way was generously offered to us even though we didn’t have reservations, at 6pm on a Friday night (our original plan fell through don’t judge!)Of course last but not least was the fabulous dynamic dishes we were served. We started with a few little bites that packed a flavorful punch; butternut squash and ricotta surrounded in fried golden puff topped with pomegranate seed melted into the mouth exquisitely. We shared the lamb tartare which was uniquely served with the crunchy bit on top of the tartare. Next up we shared a radicchio salad of sorts with grapefruit, meyers lemon, and black olive ash. A total harmony of delight. We continued into our main dishes, which I was trepidatious to choose the vegetarian option of turnip mushroom cakes with lentils, however I adored my dish and enthusiastically preferred it over my companions swordfish. We finished with a sweet note with their chocolate caramel pannacotta. It was a delightful dichotomy of sweet and salt and smooth and crunchy.Treat yourself to their quality service, ingredients, atmosphere and culinary artistry.“
“Oh, this place is a gem. Service was fast & attentive, the food was phenomenal, and the dessert honey cake was the topping of it all. My partner and I ordered 4 appetizers, shared the goulash entree, & ended with the honey cake and I don’t think anything could have been better. Wonderful place to eat for a lovely Friday night dinner!“
“Love this place! The food has great staples and fun specials that dont disappoint. Worth the wait.So happy the 2nd location opened 4.15.24 in Ild Littleton (5350 S Santa Fe)!!!!!Parking: Main location in strip center off Kipling and NEW location on Prince St in Old Littleton with a big free parking lot.“
“Food is authentic Mexican food. It is prepared very authentic and tastes and looks great. Service is superb. Owner is so friendly and down to earth just a great person in general. All staff is friendly and even if busy you can tell they care . Atmosphere is great. Margaritas are the best ive ever tasted. Again food is very authentic and the best Mexican food I've had outside of home.“
“Great patio space for nice days. We went on Sunday later in the afternoon and there were plenty of open tables. We enjoyed fresh fish and a flavorful roll. I drank an iced and my husband got the margarita. My only complaint was that the margarita seemed small due to the glass being filled up just halfway. The restaurant is in a fantastic area! Definitely recommend visiting to eat/drink.“
“I ordered a pizza to go for first time yesterday and it was by far one of the best pizzas if not the very best I've ever tried. I was greeted quickly and my pizza was brought out shortly after. I loved the vibe and friendly atmosphere.“
“Easily my favorite upscale steakhouse. Hubby and I moved away from Denver but miss it as our celebration place: birthdays, anniversaries, job promotions, etc. I still crave the chopped salad after 4 years.Hubby and I make it our mission to try many upscale steak restaurants but nothing in various cities or states has beat Shanahan’s. One time we had to wait past our reservation time so they gave us a complimentary appetizer. We chose the shrimp, and wow - got it every visit after that. Courses were always timed corrected, steak was cooked to perfection. We haven’t found a place to match Shanahan’s quality.“
“After reading so many great reviews about this place I was eager to take a first date here. However, I made the mistake of coming here on Santa Fe art districts First Fridays. We ordered the most expensive "meal" on the menu which was sliced meats, cheeses and crackers. We intended to dine in and order a couple of glasses of wine before walking the art scene. The cheese and meats were decent, but it was a very small portion and were served in a "to-go" container. Still being very hungry after the dish, we decided to skip the wine and wait in line for the food truck meals down the street. The atmosphere was nice and some of the seating looked very comfortable, so I'll probably give it a second chance on an off night and write another reviewParking: Good luck finding parking anywhere near here on a First Friday of the month“
“Excellent first time dining there even though we have lived in the neighborhood for years. John does a great job, the portions are generous and the menu very thoughtful and creative. Plus the crispy skin on the duck confit was spectacular! Highly recommend.“
“Food was amazing. If you have time, recommend getting something. Its VERY healthy. A little on the expensive side but worth it. It was very popular and busy. We got there before the breakfast rush. There was a wait when we left.It was a little loud, but that’s because of the passengers. Server was great!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and egg free options. They even asked for allergy after ordering.“
“In the eclectic heart of Denver, a city that thrives on the unexpected and celebrates the unconventional, Duo Restaurant stands as a culinary sanctuary, offering a symphony of flavors that resonate with the soul of the city. It’s the kind of place that would have intrigued Anthony Bourdain, with its commitment to simplicity, authenticity, and the sheer joy of eating.Duo is a nod to the harmonious interplay of contrasts—a place where the rustic and the refined, the playful and the profound, coexist in delightful synchronicity. The ambiance is a blend of warmth and sophistication, a backdrop that sets the stage for a culinary experience that is both grounded and transcendent. At the heart of Duo’s ethos is a celebration of local ingredients, transformed through a lens of creativity and care. “It's really sad, the news we got. Sunday 10/22/23 is the last day thus place will be open. This was a great place fir sour beers and small charcuterie plates. This lil cool quaint Cafe type set up was my spot for sour beers. It was also pretty cool to have their charcuterie plates too as they freshly cut the meat & cheeses at the deli counter. There was always so many flavorful sours to try. Well to the staff behind the bar & deli thanks for all the good times! Y'all will be missed!!!“
“The food here is absolutely fantastic, with service to match. Our waiter, Brian, was friendly and provided excellent recommendations. The arancini, pancetta, chicken gnocchi were all fantastic. They have the best risotto I’ve ever tasted. Definitely recommend!“
“Just randomly drove pass this place on my home from work and decided to stop in for a burger.. do not regret a single bite of it! Burger 5 out of 5, green chile 5 out of 5, good luck finding a better burger! Perfect example of a hidden gem!“
“Delicious food on a consistent basis. Great online order deals and prices that are so worth the quality of food. Friendly service too! Would highly recommend this little hole-in-the-wall eatery!Parking: Ample parking for large outdoor shopping mall“
“Got to VIB in Denver last night. Stopped up to McDevitt Taco Supply roof top restaurant and bar. Happy hour was in progress. Sampled 4 different tacos. All excellent bursts of flavor. And the MTS staff and owners are excellent. This is what a first class experience is supposed to be.“
“Second time eating here--would definitely recommend! Lovely service, chefs, and environment. Will always recommend their Manhattan and of course, any of the chef specials! Looking forward to my next visit with chefs, Larry and Marin! Excited to try Omakase!“
“Love the vibes of this place. The trash drinks are fun and CHEAP! I ordered the Lil Smidge and it was pretty good (and strong). It was quite busy on a Friday night, and my one complaint is that the bar table itself is pretty small. There were some times where it was hard to reach the bartender through the crowd.“
“Definitely a dark speakeasy vibe and good whiskey selection. I feel as a whiskey enthusiast that not having a whiskey menu was a bit annoying. I either need to ask the bartender about what they have and or what it costs....this feels like a burden to both the customer and the bartender who is busy trying to provide service for the patrons. Overall, solid stop if you're looking for some variety they definitely have a broader selection and flights available.“
“I went twice during a 4 day visit to Denver. The vibe is amazing. The venue is gorgeous and the views to the mountains from the roof top are incredible. Food was delicious! Loved all the seating options to be outside. I will be back often!“
“The best sports bar near where I grew up in the north side of Denver, Colorado!! They have amazing beer selections, always have any kind of sports on, and their bar food is not some clique sports bar menu, they have high quality items that stick out the front page. Always come back when I go home. Oh and the service, just Fantastic!!“
“What a great find! I loved the tuna and my husband loved their special steak. The accompaniments were so tasty too. Do not miss the bread! It’s a boule served with two kinds of compound butters. The wine list is nice with approachable pricing. Can’t wait to come for happy hour!“
“I love this place! The atmosphere is fun with cool drinks, great music, and eclectic decor. I loved the benches made from old claw foot tubs! I had the canteen-a-rita, served in a camping canteen. It was delicious! I’d love to go back soon and try the food and more drinks soon!Updated:I have been to Happy Camper multiple times at different times of day since my initial review, and I’ve always had a great experience! The pizza is great, the drinks are consistent, and the staff is always on their game. I love to take out of town visitors here to enjoy the decor and the atmosphere!“
“This was the 1st time at Avanti!!!I Love The Concept of many restaurants with a wide variety of food choices. So there's always something for anyone!!!I mainly came for my Favorite Place Pho King Rapido's!!! I would love to come back and try the other delicious places!!!“
“This is an amazing place for non-alcoholic beverages if that's what you desire! I am doing dry January and this place couldn't have been a better spot to go! The atmosphere is amazing and their drink choices are so good! Highly recommend!“
“I came here when I stopped in denver and took myself on a date. I treated myself to Bread, heirloom tomato salad, mushroom bolognese, and gooey butter cake. I also had their house aperol cocktail and a glass of Shiraz. Everything was outstanding. From the food to the service I couldn’t ask for more. My server Elizabeth was attentive and knowledgeable while having great recommendations and the host Melissa was very helpful. I’ll definitely be back and appreciate everyone for being so warm.“
“I live in the Springs, I’m a hifi fan and a vinyl lover. Came up with the family for a day in Denver. Had the wife drop me off while her and my daughter went to Ikea. Nice place, was hoping for some jazz but was subjected to a nice smooth mix out of my norm. Enjoyable. Great drinks, staff was on point, knowledgeable and attentive. I understand at certain times it’s more about the music and your expected to chill and listen. I’d be all about that but this was not my experience which is fine. Great place. Japanese whiskey list was on point.“
“We came here for a quick bite as a group and we really enjoyed it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. We ended up sitting outside (it is a first-come-first-serve) and the staff was really helpful to set us up with the heaters and made sure we are taken care of.We ordered a variety of pizzas and really not a single one of them disappointed. The combos might sound crazy and unusual but they really work so i'd encourage anyone to try.We also ordered a few of the oysters and we loved them. They have a variety of types there and will make sure to run your through them. We really enjoyed all of them and the team was divided on favorites.Would definitely come back for more bites!“
“Another really terrific meal and overall good time at Joy Hill. Made reservations on their site for 7 on a Tuesday night. Wasn't packed at that time but glad to have the option to reserve. They were a little shorthanded at the front, but we were seated after waiting for a few minutes.Pepperoni Roll app was the food highlight - the dough is terrific - and the white pizza was also good. The atmosphere was Busy but never chaotic, with a really steady stream of folks coming in. Staff handled it all well, and the evening was a lot of fun.Parking: That stretch of Broadway can get a little tight for parking.“
“We've been looking for our Ethipoian place ever since Axum closed. Some places we walked in and immediately right back out, because of SMOKE. There was ONE man smoking a Clove cigarette when we walked into Meso, and we smelled that lingering odor for most of our meal. For God's sake, step outside! It's a restaurant, and your lazy convenience may keep us from coming back.“
“Omgoodness what a gem of a spot. I did a bourbon/whiskey tasting and I also had a cocktail. Wonderful!!! The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. They have events during the week and we happened upon a Sunday night with a DJ playing music and a food truck out front. Great combination on all fronts.“
“Fun place for Pho. The service and atmosphere were great. The vegan pho lacked flavor but the traditional and spicy pho brother were better (maybe this isn’t a surprise). They also give a HUGE bunch of noodles in the soup. Overall, a decent place for Pho in the uptown district.“
“Rino Country Club is the last true neighborhood bar in Rino. Brock and co. are always on their game serving up quick drinks no matter the size of the crowd. The outdoor space is awesome and they’re always making small updates to improve it. Dalton’s food window serves up the best burg in town.“
“Fun place for drinksIf you need a snacky, their hotdogs are bomb dot com (The whiskey coke/hotdog happy meal was great)The music was a little loud.. geez, I'm oldService was a little slow to begin (may have caught them during a shift change) but it got a lot better later on“
“This place is a DREAM!!! Such fun decor and people, amazing performance space, delicious food and drinks with so many options and accomodations. It really feels like a rare local gem that is disappearing in most cities. Denver is lucky to have Ophelia's!“
“One of our favorite restaurants. We've tried a lot of things on the menu and all had amazing flavor. From the drinks to the dessert it never disappoints. Our waiter did an amazing job and so personable and fun. Always a great experience at The Kitchen!“
“As someone who enjoys smaller shows, this venue is amazing. It's a comfortable venue without too many bells and whistles that has a nice atmosphere and is well thought-out. The music sounds incredible on their funktion-one sound system. I tend to feel overwhelmed when there is an excess of really bright lights at a show, but that is not a problem here. Lights are mellow and the music is played at an appropriate volume (bring earplugs though.) Seriously, come check this spot out.PS: I don't drink alcohol and I was very excited to find out that they have a long list of non-alcoholic options, from sodas, to juices. So thank you for doing that. I feel seen.“
“Dew Drop Inn... do drop in! It kind of reminds me of "There's No Way" by Lauv and Julia Michaels. "You touch" the menu and you know "there will be history between us two". Maybe, even some "regrets, but we just ignored them." Maybe, you'll try a traditional rendition or maybe you'll try an N/A remix. Maybe, you'll "want another"... maybe you'll "hold off for one sec"... but "there's no way it's not going there"... you'll order more than one drink before you grab the check! Overall, just like the song, it's cute and no one is upset when it's recommended. (:“
“I love the re-mix of Cuba Cuba Sandwicheria at this location. Instead of counter service, it is now table service. The staff is always so warm and attentive, and the food and drinks are delicious - but still at reasonable prices! The mojitos are always on point, and my favorite is the veggie wrap with fish, but the plates and other sandwiches are always delicious as well. Music is a great background and they are improving the vibe in the dining area. It was converted a few months ago from fast-casual, and it has become a go-to for us on an informal date night where we appreciate someone serving us lovely cocktails and food!“
“Everything we had was spectacular. We were pleased with every dish. We walked in without a reservation and had to be put on the waitlist for over an hour so I would highly recommend planning in advance and having a reservation. The staff was kind and attentive and the food itself was excellent.“
